    Is mop lifting effective while cleaning carpets ?

  • @LaAmeria

    Nice review! Do you still like it after having it for sometime now? I was thinking of buying one. Do you have to buy the actual soap for it for refill? And how many times does it go over mopping? Can you set it for 2 times?

      Thanks for the comment. Yes I really like it, best one I've reviewed so far. They want you to use their soap but I never tried anything else in it. You can schedule it to mop 2 or more times, all in the app.

      @@handyandymedia I appreciate your feedback. Will try it. I have pets and really am looking forward to this product. Especially coming from an older version of shark robot. Have a wonderful day.

    Wanted to know if you figured this out and can you post a video. How do I quickly just vacuum one room (not on a schedule, no mopping) Just a vacuum to pick up a small mess.
    Mine seems to want to mop and vacuum no matter what I do

      Don't know if you figured this out already but... I have the L10s Pro Ultra Heat specifically but imagine it might work the same. In the app on the screen where you can tell it to start cleaning (where it shows your floorplan), near the bottom, select the "Customize" option as opposed to the "CleanGenius" option. Click on the "Cleaning Settings" button and change the Cleaning Mode to "Vacuum." From there, go back to the main floorplan page and choose the room you want to clean and you should be set.

    I have a two story house. Can I take the bot, only the bot and ask it to clean the second floor without moving the base?

    • @victorsvidss
      @victorsvidss 10 дней назад

      Yes, pretty much all of these smart robots save multiple floors. You just have to carry it up and downstairs and then resume cleaning

    too bad the mopping pads don't take care of the edges. there's like a two inch gap on the edge that doesn't get cleaned.

      Yep, great observation. This is why nothing will beat manual mopping. But it's the best I've seen so far in a robot mop

      Check out the Dreame L20 that's coming out. It solves that problem. Of course, it's more money.

      The made a software update that takes care of this!

    6:05 well Pooop, watched this video to see if it would be smart enough to avoid my new puppy poo ..already got mapping vacuum but was willing to spend another grand on one that could avoid accidents heh..oh well..

    • @ModItBetter
      @ModItBetter 8 месяцев назад +1

      hmm watched another video where he actually tested the avoidance seems it can .. .. only thing missing from your good video was you putting at least one thing on the floor to show that off ..

      well i'll just keep replying to my self.. found a review on amazon canada and a person uploaded pics of what happens when it comes up to poo.. lol..not pretty thats for sure for the floor or the $1000 vacuum , I can see why You skipped the avoidance..

      He had the pet detection off in the settings though. I'm sure it would be more sensitive with that setting on

    The vacuum sounds while you talk are terrible :D Why would you not mute the robot? ^^

    It's a 180 turn not 360 😉

      @@skandahle No he said '360 turn' when describing the bot turning around and backing up into the dock. No way he was thinking of the rpm on the mop because they're not the same number.

    I've had one for about a week now. The "AI" is ok, but not great. I'm comparing to an iRobot J+ I have used for over a year. The Ultra does not do a good job of avoiding cables and small obstacles. The J+ I upgraded from does a better job. I do not have pets, but have watched videos of the Ultra hitting poop - so keep that in mind. The vacuum, mapping, and mop abilities of the Dreame are great. Just wish it did a better job with cables on the ground (my teenagers are really the problem...)

    Walking in front of a robot vacuum while it mapping and moving it is the absolute worst thing you can do.

    How can anyone take you seriously if you don't know what Pa stands for, or think that RPM stands for "reps per minute". Jesus h christ
