Hello there. I have a question though. I just bought this robot. Is it possible to add the detergent to the mail 2.5L tank? To make the mopping more effective? Or should i avoid it. Also are you using the tap water or Distilled water?
Hi! Thanks for the questions! Even though there are third party detergent solutions that can be bought on Alibaba etc. I would personally advice not to use them if you want to be carful when it comes to warranty issues etc. I believe it would work fine as long as it´s a very gentle kind of detergent (+ the L10s Ultra supports it from factory), but again. I would not recommend using it since Dreame writes nothing of it (from what I can find). I have been using normal tap water :-) // Chris
Hi! If you are happy with the results of the W10 I can´t imagine the L10s being that huge of an upgrade, specially if mopping is the main priority and since the W10 already refills and empty water as well. I´d probably stay with the W10 :-) // Chris
Hi! The L10s Ultra-model (an "s" after L10) has got a camera built in that I am fairly sure you can reach from wherever :-) The normal L10 Ultra (in the video) does not have a camera. // Chris
Hi! It´s got about a 3-4 cm gap from corners where the brush cannot reach. The mopping pads does not reach all the way into the walls either. Something that is basically the case for every round robot using the spinning pads right now. However I am very curios to take a look at the new L20 Ultra, that has got a movable right mopping pad to reach the edges: global.dreametech.com/products/l20-ultra // Chris
Hi! Hm, I suppose you could. Did it come included with the machine? The L10s Ultra does have a little compartment next to the bag for detergent solution that gets automatically distributed. However there is not such thing on the L10 Ultra. Does it look like the detergent bottles are more like cartridges that should be able to fit somewhere, or are they just normal bottles? // Chris
This is a crap of a machine - avoid at all costs. The thing works perfectly until it does not... For me and many users, the front wheel assembly broke. To replace it you have to tear down the whole unit to its mother board. Stupid design.
Really? I´m so sorry to hear that :-/ Definitely worth taking into account before an eventual purchase if it is a wide spread problem. Thx for the comment! // Chris

I have a Dreame W10 already and only use it for mopping. Worth the upgrade to L10S Ultra only for mopping?

Yeah, it seem to go on pretty neat sales every now and then. Guessing there will be some good BF-deals :-) // Chris
How about corners?

Hi, Dreame gave me 3 bottles of detergent. So I can add the detergent to the clean water tank ?
