    I have now tried both of these and they both have their own advantages. The Q revo tray is much easier to clean, and it seems to wash the mop a lot better. It also navigates a lot better than the L10s Ultra. The L10s Ultra gets in corners better due to it's twist option and it also has better object avoidance. I have no idea which is better lol.

      Thank you for the input! Yeah, it's pretty even in terms of which one is better. Agree with that the Q Revo is somewhat easier to clean though. Not extremely, but at least a bit. Did you end up keeping either of them? :-) // Chris

      Was contemplating btw dreame l10, qrevo and s8+.. i chose dreame purely due to e obstacle avoidance and dreame does better on hard floor. A close fight

    I have both of them. They are very similar in general but I prefer Q Revo. Q Revo has better navigation, faster mapping, and works better with carpet. L10 Ultra is better in border cleaning. If object avoidance is your major concern, both of them are not for you. They ate my cat teaser stick.

      Thank you for some great input! Yeah, the object avoidance when it comes to relatively small items lying on the floor are not fantastic with either of them. // Chris

    One thing I saw about the Revo is it pauses and lifts the mop pads up before hitting carpet whereas the L10 doesn’t.

    • @GetThereFaster
      @GetThereFaster  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hi! That's true. And stopping actually does make a little more sense I guess since you don't want to wet the carpet. Wouldn't say it´s a problem on the L10 Ultra though since it raises the mop pads pretty quickly. // Chris

    or add more money for dreame l20 ultra?

      Hi! Honestly all three are very similar in terms of functionality. I would say pick the one you think looks the best. Might be it that the Dreame ones have a slightly more sturdy build quality. So today, I would probably go for one of those. // Chris

    Help what better buy l10 ultra vs Xiaomi x10+ vs Roborock Q Revo???

      Hi! They are all basically the same when it comes to functionality. Small design differences here and there, but I´d recon all three gives about the same results. All three of the manufacturers are also, as far as I know, pretty heavily affiliated with each other. // Chris

    The Revo rattles and is louder, is that what you said? Do both have hot water mopping and hot dry? Last question I promise.😊How does one hook these up to a water source? I will not have the base station next to any plumbing. Is that a requirement for it to do it's thing? Self empty, wash and refill is why I'm buying.

    • @GetThereFaster
      @GetThereFaster  8 месяцев назад +3

      Hi! Pretty much :-) Cold water mopping and hot dry on both. There´s no way to connect either of them to an external water source. You will need to refill and empty both water tanks respectively after they are empty/full. So might not be the perfect fit I am afraid then :-) // Chris

    Is the dreame good for daily large dog shedding?

    • @GetThereFaster
      @GetThereFaster  2 месяца назад +2

      Hi! For hardwood floors and the likes it would probably do fine. However for getting long hairs out of mats and carpets you probably are looking to also have a more powerful handheld one with a good carpet brush. Also, the more hair the vacuum picks up, the more cleaning of the brushes and filters will have to be maintained. So, my answer would be something along the line of "yes, but not fully on its own" :-) // Chris

    Should they always be plugged in?

    • @GetThereFaster
      @GetThereFaster  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hi! That is at least the idea. However, as long as you don´t move them you can unplug them in between every run (moving them will make you have to redo the scan of the cleaning area). // Chris

      @@GetThereFaster Idk the whole things about the robot cleaners. So I can’t also know whether it redo the mapping of the rooms or not when it is unplugged in every run time. As a result of these circumstances, what is your “ideal” advise for the device? Should it be PLUGGED or UNPLUGGED for battery health and device’s safety against current spikes? Take into account for using it twice a week. Thx a lot for your comments

      @GetThereFaster  5 месяцев назад

      @@mustafaturgun Hi! If you´re using it once a week or more I´d definitely recommend keeping it plugged in :-) I have not checked the standby power, so can´t say for sure, but would assume that the charging of the vacuum cleaner is not constant, but only at certain times to keep the battery life as good as possible while retaining a basically full charge at all times :-) // Chris

      @@OMPTraxxs Hm, unfortunately I have no input whether or not they are good when it comes to actual repairs etc. However, if you bought it from a retailer that should probably be your first stop if something goes wrong with it, and then they solve eventual warranty issues towards Dreame (a little depending on where you´re from though). If you however bought it straight from Dreame they will handle the customer service themselves. // Chris

    Too much work cleaning the vacuum the bins , the filters buying new bags, filters, mops, batteries and all very expensive. Traditional vacuum and mopping still the best option and you get a free workout. Some tasks we humans are still better at than robots. Go for a nice holiday for that money instead

    • @GetThereFaster

      @@GetThereFaster Ok Chris I did buy two iRobots one vacuum and one wet 15 years ago. Batteries died on both after one year and new batteries were half the cost of a new one. But I did get curious of developments so I did buy a Dreame L10 and so far I am impressed. This is the next level, let’s hope my new toy last longer this time.
