The video is well presented, but the problem is (as with all the videos that talk about Absolute) in reality 95% of what was presented here is Halion 7 .. so where is the real value in all the rest?
I have Cubase 13 and Halion 7 and would consider upgrade to Absolute if i was able to understand the real value of it.
I get that absolute adds Groove Agent, padshop 2 (also in CB Pro 13) and backbone, but where are the highlights of those?
What is also important to note is that some of you / us may be eligible for the Steinberg 40th anniversary loyalty rebate. You can purchase a full version of Absolute 6 with a rebate of 70% off the regular retail price.
Absolute 6 are an amazing collection!!
1:29 the song is a banger already. Phil Collins vibes in the chords.
This is very convincing stuff... This makes me wanna save up for the big plunge!
Big fan of Halion (I program my own sample sounds) and the Absolute Collection - highly recommend!
Thank You! You made a very inspiring video!
You see Absolute 6 does have some useful stuff an investment into a couple hundred gig SSD might need to be added. But hey I already have Halion 7 and Backbone and maybe some of the other goodies included. However Steinberg don't include the many like myself who already own some of Absolute's major components, in their upgrade path as far as I can see. So why would I want to fork out again for stuff I already own?
I feel right excluded!! If I am wrong , someone please point me in the right direction but I am not paying again for products I already own but I would like some of the other stuff included with Absolute 6!
FM Lab is also one of my FAVs ! Soo verstatile.
Is the Absolute 6 packages not included in Cubase Pro 13?
Awesome stuff, thanks so much for this!
Picked it up yesterday for a great deal 😻
70% off is quite a deal.
Since I already owned komplete, I was pretty hesitant on buying it at full price as there are no crossgrade options available for komplete customers (only for halion 7 alone, not absolute)
however at 150€, it would be a shame to miss this offer. I'll probably buy it once I have the money
Awesome!!🤩🤩😍
Are they usable in songs commercially? Or are the sounds, arps and samples proteczed by some licences?
Halion 7 is enough to fully use all instruments and groove agent? Or Cubase is required?
Bought it ,, but a bit disappointed that the guitar is only nylon :(
sounds cool.
I have the latest version of Halion so I’m wondering if the same or same of the same instruments are on it & if it would be worth getting this . Does it work with Logic Pro?
is absolute 6 compatible with fl
How did you make the mixer show on your iPad?
My guess is that he either uses Cubase IC Pro on the iPad in combination with Cubase on his Mac, or that he might have set up the iPad a second display for his Mac, using the Sidecar feature. (There sure are more options available, but those two appear reasonable to me, given we are watching a Cubase, Mac and iPad combo being used in the video. Yet, I might be mistaken here.)
It's the Avid Control App using EuCon to connect to my iPad. Works pretty well but sometimes takes a system reboot to connect properly.
anybody with Windows, you can use software called SpaceDesk and have an iPad as another display. It works over your wifi network and its free. You can even use the touch screen ;)
I’m assuming you still need the dongle to use this ?
No. Steinberg done away with the dongle. All e-licensing now
Is it possible to download Absolute 6 by the Steinberg download manager?
Is this free?
No not for free, but the Absolute Collection is 50% off until September 25, 2024, along with other great offers as part of Steinberg's 40th Anniversary Sale. Have a look here: www.steinberg.net/promotion/
@@Cubase Is it only on sale on their website and no other places? like sweetwater?
