I remember watching this trailer at the cinema back in 1979 as an 11 year old. I had gone to see Star Trek the Motion Picture at the time. The trailer had a profound effect on me and I became absolutely fascinated by the film but I could never find the trailer until now. Was beginning to believe it was a figment of my imagination. Many thanks for posting and reigniting my nostalgia for this one trailer!!

Thanks for posting this it solved a bit of mini mystery for me, it was one of the first horror trailers I think I can ever remember seeing and I thought I'd imagined it, the fact that it was on a tape for The Exterminator explains a lot that is one of my favourite films, thanks again.

That's right - was on a few old Intervision adult films - I think it was on Night of the Living Dead and Rabid also. It was the only trailer I'd ever seen for it back in the day - and it worked because I went and bought it!

Made simple great trailers back in those days that were very effective, also remember the one for Prophecy that came out same year been good.

As mentioned in the description bar, it was on an old VHS rental tape of The Exterminator on the Intervision label.
