Several Hall of Famers & NFL Legends are interviewed about what the Redskins vs. Cowboys rivalry means to the NFL dating back to when the Cowboys joined the league.
I was born 1960, remember many great games between two. Being from Arkansas, I'm a Cowboy fan, disappointed that Washington changed it's name, Cowboys versus Redskins sounds more natural than Cowboys/Football Team.
Dallas vs Washington back in the day on CBS in the booth calling those game was Pat Summerall and John Madden whether they played in RFK or Texas Stadium
My mother was a member of "Franco's Army" from the Pittsburgh Steelers. My father was a Washington Redskins fan until his last day. I'm the one with the GOOD TASTE. The first game I ever saw was Super Bowl X. I took the Cowboys because my mother was rooting for the Steelers. Steelers won that game by 4 points. Steelers won again in SB XIII, with the help of the well paid refs. Moms never let me hear the end of it until My Cowboys FINALLY beat the Steelers by TEN POINTS. The Cowboys won two Super Bowls in the 70's and lost three. Both most in the NFC East. The Washington Redskins hadn't won a Super Bowl, lost to the Dolphins in SB VII, but went on to win three Super Bowls, most in the NFC East, beating the Cowboys in the NFC Championship Game. Mom's on one side, Pop's on the other. The Team of the 90's won three SBs in the 90's.. Both of my parents have passed away. This presentation brought more than a few fond memories to mind. And for that I thank you.
If Snyder sells, it’s possible the Commanders could come back. Snyder is the sole reason the team is where they are. The nice thing about college football, is it’s much easier to get rid of a bad AD than a bad owner. That’s why Michigan-OSU will never die. I hope this rivalry comes back
I was taught to hate the Cowboys before I even understood the game of football. My parents made sure I never had 1 ounce of sympathy for them in any way. They are the Bad Guys , my mom even talked to my kindergarten teacher for giving me a blue star for whatever I did, she asked her to give any other color, just not a blue star !!
@@boogitybear2283 It Used to be Arizona & Dallas in NFC East with the 3 east coast teams. The rivalries with Dallas and the 3 teams is why they didn't want to break them up when NFL went to 4 team divisions based on geography (for most part, some exceptions )

As the song says "hail to the REDSKINS!" NOT hail to the commanders. As a life long redskins fan I feel my team the REDSKINS Packed up some mayflower moving vans in the middle of the night and silently moved away. I've been devastated ever since. So dam son bring back My Team The Washington Redskins! - HTTR! Thank You.
