It's so sad to have had the advantage of meeting some of the greatest ministers of the Gospel, and then be lifted up in pride and depart from the faith. I've loved Carlton Pearson and played for a few of his services. I always admired him growing up. When any man or woman exalts their own thoughts and will until no one can correct or speak into their life, they're on dangerous ground.

Wow, are you another keyboard player? Imagine having played for someone like Kathryn Kuhlman? Of course there's no one like her today, but what an honour if you were ever able to play keys for such a one.

Kathryn was solid doctrinally. Imagine what she would say to Carlton if she were alive today.

@@ianfrancis777 kathryn was very shallow in theological knowledge..all her experience with God was romantic and esoteric. She couldn't discern how shallow many of the people she associated with were then. She even thought pearson was spiritual. 🤦

@@chrisitnajones5527 There is pride as interaction with people and pride as been a state of mind. He actually thought those who opposed his teachings were less sincere and hypocritical. He was deceived and too proud to admit.

Ya, it is sad, but maybe he will yet come back to the gospel once delivered. Kathryn's words were so profound, they continue to speak forth.

Carlton has beautiful history, he’s just fallen off..I earnestly hope he gets back to where he started from. Sometimes I wonder if he hadn’t watched the Commercial of the people in Africa what would he be like now?

This is awesome and I believe he has opened up so much for others that believe what they believe and not feel guilty because of not following the masses. So glad to be very close to Carlton. ;)

She was right he died in what he was believing unfortunately it wasn't really the word or will of God.

Not one verse in the Bible says
You must believe in hell to be saved
    It does say judge not
    Lest ye shall be judged
    Jesus Himself said
We will be judged by every word that proceeds out our mouths
Not once in my 50yrs of reading and studying God's living Word have I ever read believing in hell is a necessary part of God's salvation plan for us.

Believing in Hell is certainly not a criterion. People really know how truly blind they were about this until that great day.... And one of the first faces they see with the Lord Jesus the Christ is Carlton Pearson. Sometimes you just have to leave people to their own blindness & trust God to take the blinders off. Until He does, they'll never see. Because that's EXACTLY what blindness is.

“and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.” ~Revelation 22:19
      .
The book of revelation teaches us about hell. If you don’t believe in hell, you are in fact calling God a liar, denying Him and taking away from His Word. If someone takes away from the Word and says that hell isn’t real then scripture is clear about the consequences for such a person.
      .
I am no judge of Carlton Pearson, he could have repented. I just wanted to share that scripture as food for thought. 🙏🏾
