@coachkoach - based on what of the interviews he said it's because he said that in his heart he never really believed the doctrines he was taught, but taught them because he feared God. I suspect that it is also a another doctrine problem. It is the doctrine of election and eternal security which he neither understood nor believed.
fair enough...i have no further comments. I could comment but I will not...i am finding out more and more that people will believe what they want to believe truth or no truth.
jamel11234 : It is the learned opinion of a bible scholar named Bart Ehrman, who wrote "Misquoting Jesus" and "Jesus Interrupted. He went to Moody, Wheaton, and Princeton. He was honest enough come out with his conclusion, just as Carleton did with his gospel of inclusion.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! **laughing and spitting at the same time** Is he Joe, Tito, or Jermaine? HAHAHAHA!!!! He might be Jackie on this one......hahaha.....Im sorry, i did enjoy his ministry before this whole inclusion thing, but you've gotta admit, this is funny as hell!!!! LOL
jamel11234 : Truth=What Really Is. Determining that is not an exact science, as evidenced by the myriad of beliefs. I was once a fundy Christian till I became convinced that Jesus was just a construct of Constantine. Then I had to change my way of thinking to reflect what to me was Truth. And I have found no reason to reverse my decision. Carlton lost a lot (materially) when he followed his highest light, but his spiritual advancement was great. I hope a higher understanding will be yours.
What are you talking about???? There is no such thing as putting God's word above him..its only about obeying his word. In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was GOd...also 2 Timothy 3:16-17, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." So where in Gods green earth are u getting your ideas?? Obedience is not idolatry
@mymusicvideos1991 Bible scholar Bart Ehrman would totally agree with you. After graduating from Princeton, he came to this conclusion about the bible.
We would not even be debating what Pearson or any false teachers says if we were just willing to believe WHAT GOD SAYS and not look to read into it our own ideas or opinions-- PERIOD! Pearson's gospel of inclusion is just that ,his own idea based on a mixture of misinterpretation and emotions..for example he adopted his views because in his opinion "God is such a loving God that surely he wont send anyone to hell" well thats based on emotions not on fact...who can understand Gods ways?..no one!!
two central points of confusion about basic Christians doctrine become clear in listening to Mr. Pearson's commentary. 1) He does not appear to grasp /acknowledge the devastating and unrelenting reality and consequences of evil in this life. If some evil person were to commit some manner of unspeakable acts against a person's love ones (which happens regularly) would he still insist there is no divine, eternal judgment ? 2) He fails to understand the eternal security of the believer in Christ
Furthermore there is ONE god hence there is one religion-- Christianity because there is ONE church. God is not found in "other" religions-- u are dead wrong. And I say that not because it is my opinion but GOD SAYS IT IN HIS WORD. lol..how can taking God at his word be idolatry??
vfield you make no sense whatsoever. God does not "change"with the times. THe word is God's perfect revelation of who he is and what he wants all of mankind to do whether in previous ages, this age, or ages to come..God does not make it up as time goes along because God is not bound by times, And this crzy idea that taking the Bible literally is idolatry, is your own convoluted opinion-- So is if Obey God's literal commands that is idolatry. Then what is the point of having a bible at all??
Not the truth in the Bible - that's King James, NLT, NKJV, American, Study, Scoffied, Nelson and any other translation. He found a truth somewhere else. READ for yourself, then listen to what he says.
I am not concerned with what he has been called by other people...thats the problem here we rely more on what others say than finding out for ourselves...in YOUR opinion who is the creator
You do know that while pearson is a but misguided in his eschatology he still does believe in Jesus Christ...which you say is a construct of constatine (i recommend you research that a bit more)
Ok sure..take the easy way out. So basically I was right before when I said that it is your opinion because you stil have not proven anything. Its your word against mines I guess. One must be right and one must be wrong. My proof is the Bible itself that says that all scripture is GOd breathed!! Not man inspired
jamel : Study the Creator and his creations, there is nothing else. You have way too much faith in a book put together by Constantine and his council of Nice.
@bella50008 Truth may be an exact science, but who can say exactly what it is? You say it is found in the bible, I would say I found it in a book named Oahspe, Carlton would say it was his revelation. Your claim about the 'word' is a biblical phrase I would not accept. The traveler is looking far a path to his goal, he may chose a scenic path while you chose a shorter but rocky path. He may come to a dead end and have to choose a different path - Carlton did, and I did.
Annointed man of God!!
YES, IM BLESSED!
Oh my goodness he does!
@coachkoach - based on what of the interviews he said it's because he said that in his heart he never really believed the doctrines he was taught, but taught them because he feared God. One Jackson has passed away!
@gtqueen23 Yep....that is CeCe Winnans
jamel11234: Your question is incomprehensible. I like the name Creator just fine. I also like the name the Great Spirit. What's in a name?
fair enough...i have no further comments. I could comment but I will not...i am finding out more and more that people will believe what they want to believe truth or no truth.
@mymusicvideos1991 I've been trying to tell people that forever..
And who in your opinion is the creator? A
@gtqueen23, Yep
Is he one of the Jackson Five Brothers?
LOL

jamel: Are you looking for a name? He(she) has been called Jehovah, the Father, Architect of the Universe, the Great Spirit, Kahuna, Allah, etc.
I admit it! It's funny! LOL

You would have to prove that wouldn't you. Thats based on your own opinion
vfield you make no sense whatsoever. God does not "change"with the times. Bart Ehrman would certainly back you up on that statement.
@mymusicvideos1991 Carlton says it is man's word about God. (Gospel of Inclusion).
You do know that while pearson is a but misguided in his eschatology he still does believe in Jesus Christ...which you say is a construct of constatine (i recommend you research that a bit more)
