Dodge Charger SRT392 2015 on German Autobahn, 182 mph / 292 kmh - totally legal

- Camera was not properly fixed,so some sound problems.... Real speed starting at min 1:30
GPS showed 292 km/h speedometer 289... / 181 mph so pretty exact at that speed. Car was in Track mode, some wining sound comes from the sunroof, above 245km/h.... Is now fixed
I don't think I am insane at all but quite responsible. You can apply your concerns to all things in modern world like: what if the elevator brakes in which you are in, what if the plane crashes you fly in at almost the speed of sound etc. I know what you mean but Autobahn in Germany is not like your US Highways. We have fences on each side, special bridges or tunnels for animals (no joke) etc. so it is very rare that an animal crosses the street
Also Autobahns are cleaned very regularly and therefore there's almost no trash or anything on the street, very clean and comfortable, meaning rarely a tire blows up
I have driven tens of thousands of miles on US Highway is and as much as I admire your country and your cars, a lot of your streets are a trash bin, especially on the side of the road. This is not at all the case in Germany
Always been a chevy guy, but damn. That throatty sound the dodges makes is awesome.

For a while there was no speed limit on Montana Interstates, but they have a limit now of 80MPH
That reminds me of the time I opened up my 98 M3 on A7 from Kitzingen to Ulm-Rothenburg. Normal driving time was 47 mins. My trip took 13 averaging 157 with stretches of 165+. This was before dash cams and GoPros.

292 km = 181 mph. I wonder if that was topped out? the're supposed to be able to do 182, i was hoping maybe they were conservative...?

Awesome, When I ordered my 16 Scat, somewhere between Brampton and my dealer, it was taken up to 179 mph. Hard to get away with it in Illinois, one has to do it from 1:55 - 2:05 PM, when all the cops are changing shift, lol.

Not really. If it's doing about 4k rpms at highest gear and is going around 140-155 you're saving gas
