I am needing a video that will help me to add lace around a pocket. I think this technique will do just fine. Thank you for all of your videos; I have been a fan for many years.
Thank you for such a clear video! I always enjoy your videos and learn a lot from them. I have a question, I want to put some lace on a collar that is pointed ( tailored) so it looks a little softer. Do I put the lace on the same way as your peter pan type collar or is there a different step or way of doing a pointed collar?
+angie g sorry for the delay! My computer died and I just got a new one, but I'm back now! :) If it were me, I'd sew one side, then fold the trim going the next direction, without cutting your trim. I wouldn't do this with a really full, ruffled lace but a small flat trim should be fine. thanks!
i actually did something similar to the first method minus the top stitching for a head bow i made for a friends costume; the main fabric was striped so any top stitching would of shown up, so i just pressed it really well! (and as it was a head bow, any 'puffing' the fabric did would just add to the look)
