3:21 : raspberry pi is no x86 based system at all (no matter if its with a 64-, 32- or even 16-bit word size...). Its an arm system architecture (in fact one where the cpu is just a part of the proprietary gpu...)!

14:49 : are you sure you mean a switch here and not a router? AFAIK In general terminology a switch "finds out" where frames go (through its mac addresses and its memory on which ports they are reachable (and if it doesn't "know" where its sends out the frame to all ports) and a router "finds out" where packages go trough its routing table...
