Kay, this looks delicious! I bet that sauce would taste amazing with anything. I'd love to see you make a lemon meringue pie sometime! 1 cup white sugar 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 3 tablespoons cornstarch ¼ teaspoon salt 1 ½ cups water 2 lemons, juiced and zested 2 tablespoons butter 4 egg yolks, beaten 1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked 4 egg whites 6 tablespoons white sugar Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). To make the filling: Whisk 1 cup sugar, flour, cornstarch, and salt together in a medium saucepan; stir in water, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until mixture comes to a boil. Stir in butter. Place egg yolks in a small bowl and gradually whisk in 1/2 cup of hot sugar mixture. Whisk egg yolk mixture back into remaining sugar mixture. Bring to a boil and continue to cook while stirring constantly until thick. Remove from heat; pour filling into baked pastry shell. To make the meringue: Beat egg whites in a glass, metal, or ceramic bowl until foamy. Gradually add sugar, continuing to beat until stiff peaks form. Spread meringue over pie filling, sealing the edges at the crust. Bake in preheated oven until meringue is golden brown, about 10 minutes.
Allergies in the USA have been horrible this year! I'm sorry to hear you're dealing with hay fever, but it's great to see such a recent video from you, Kay! Keep up the great work :)
I have a recipe for you! It's for a Brazilian treat, brigadeiros. It is very simple and a dessert. for 8 servings 1 tablespoon butter 14 oz sweetened condensed milk(395 g) ¼ cup cocoa powder(30 g) 1 cup chocolate sprinkle(160 g), as needed In a pot over low heat, melt the butter, condensed milk, and cocoa powder, stirring continuously until you can see the bottom of the pot for 2-3 seconds when dragging a spatula through. Pour onto a greased plate, then let the plate chill for 1 hour. Pick up a few pieces of the chilled brigadeiro with a spoon and then shape and roll the chilled mixture into small balls with ur hands. **Make sure to put butter or other type of grease on your hands so it doesn't stick** Roll the balls in chocolate sprinkles. Enjoy! 😄
This looked like a proper special meal. I do prefer dishes like this the other way round though, with the sauce in the chicken and then the chicken wrapped around the bacon, but each to their own and that lot. There's nothing worse than the hayfever. I remember one year I couldn't stop sneezing. The sneezing was actually really strong and not nice and at one point I sneezed loads of mucus right in to my hand. It was all yellowish with small red lumps in it and smelled a bit like new post-it notes. I scraped about half a pint of the stuff off into a jam jar and I now use use it as glue for sealing envelopes shut and sticking reminders to my fridge. Fumbs up.

Hi Kay! I want to leave a recipe request here, hope you will see it! It's super easy and it can't go wrong but is also very tasty! You can call it egg slices, its common to make for breakfast in some european countries. You will just need: 4 old or dry slices of bread 2 eggs 1 cup of milk Some margarine for the pan (+ whatever you have for topping) Put the milk and eggs in a bowl to mix all together. Then you can put the slices of bread in to soak from both sides (around 1 minute for each slice to absorb the mixture) Put in the pan some margarine to melt (one spoon is enough) and place carefully the slices. Turn each side when the down side is golden brown. Its ready! Top it with whatever you have (cinnamon, honey, sugar or any creme or syrop) Cant wait for your next videos, take care!
