Love this video - so great and helpful. One question for you. How did you get the lock actuator to work while the door was not latched? I have mine connected the same way, but the latch won't budget till the door is locked.
Hey welcome back, was just wondering the other day if there was going to be any more vids.
The location you put the motor is similar to the location Land Rover put the motor in later models, I believe from 1998 onwards. If I could show you a picture on here I would, as I have bought the later inner door panels so that I can fit the central locking motors and electric windows.
A very good channel for you to follow would be Brittanica Restorations. He’s a professional mechanic that has forgotten more about Land Rover than you will ever know.
u could drill through the inner door panel and mount the actuators on that
-no more wobbly wobbly
Great vlog. I did this myself but I'm not too sure if the harness will survive the door for too long.

Most of the parts I bought were from Paddock Spares. I wouldn’t say their shipping was cheap but it gets here pretty quickly and their prices are competitive.
