      I understood this all very well, thank you so much 선생님.😃
      But I have doubt in (스)ㅂ니다 and 시다 ending i know this is out of this whole lesson but i literally have doubt between them for long time.
      Can you please tell me difference between them 🙂.

      @@saniyakhan8825
      Basically the difference is that 습니다 is a sentence ending, where as -시다 is a verb. So it is possible to combine the two, like 선생님이십니다 (시다 + ㅂ니다), 할아버지께서 매일 운동하십니다 (운동하시다 +ㅂ니다), 저녁을 드셨습니다(드시다 + 았/었습니다

    Thank you so much for the new video, Miss Vicky! ☺
    My question is not related to this grammar, it is more like a curiosity. There is this sentence "네가 아직 아침을 안 먹은 줄 알고 이렇게 많이 해놨네" why is it used with "고"? It can have also a meaning like "so"?

    • @KoreanwithMissVicky
      @KoreanwithMissVicky  Год назад +1

      Yes -고 can sometimes have a meaning of "so," like in -ㄴ/은 줄 알고. You can also say -ㄴ/은 줄 알아서 and it would mean the same thing, but you'll hear 줄 알고 more often :)

    Hello, teacher, a have a question about the sentence "I didn't know mom had already come"
    If we make that using honorifics? It would be "어머니께서 벌써 오신 줄 모르겠어요"?

    • @KoreanwithMissVicky
      @KoreanwithMissVicky  Год назад +1

      You can say 엄마가 벌써 오신 줄 "몰랐어요." 모르겠어요 means you still don't know, so in your context 몰랐어요 would be the right one :)
