this brings me back. i discovered max channel cause i wanted to watch KI gameplay and couldn't find anyone covering it on my country. long story short, i got to watch KI and max helped me hone my english skills a bit. much love dood. i devoured every single content you made since that time.

Of course I got Tusk’d by my favorite content creator. But all in seriousness, good game Max! I’m the Hisako player, and yeah, I was pretty rough on the edge.
KI is hands down the most entertaining fg as a spectator. for just about 90% of the match i am entirely invested because its all about execution (like all fgs) + the mind games of the combo/breaker system. i can never get bored watching people play this game. i hope to see more content from max!
Watching K.I. for the 1st time in a while and realizing how much of a labor of love this game was for the devs. Fun characters, cool aesthetic, good gameplay, and one of the best soundtracks in gaming history (Hisako's theme fucking ROCKS). No wonder Max loves this game so much.
Killer Instinct is literally the coolest fighting game franchise I'll never get into. I cannot interpret how to play this game, but watching that fight with Jago on Spinal's map, the thunderous rock production of Mick Gordon booming in the background makes this shit so intense and engaging even to watch. It is unparalleled
The idea behind the gameplay is very simple but how easy it is to get good at it varies from character to character. Like you hit the opponent with an opener and that allows you to star an auto combo, which before it runs out you can extend with a special movie which will allow you to continue your combo again and you repeat until you finish the combo (there's a limit on how much you can hit the other player if I remember correctly) with a special/finisher. Of course you have to mix your attacks between low, medium and heavy attacks because the other player can break the combo if he guesses what buttons your pushing. If you are even slightly interested in this, just do the tutorial, it explains everything. I was on the same boat as you and the tutorial really helped me understand how things work.

Tusk is albeit based from the legendary fantasy character from the novel by Robert E Howard, originally, Conan the Barbarian, who was also played by Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1983.

I got this game during the Autumn Steam sale. It sat on my wishlist for a long time. Installed it on my Steam Deck. OMG, this game is SO MUCH FUN!!! Ugh too bad I'm 10 years behind all the rank players. If I ever play online, I'll get creamed!!!!

KI is a very good fighting game. Top 5 easy, and my personal number 2. Only SF 3rd Strike is better in my opinion. The tutorial for KI is the best in any fighting game though. From learning the universal mechanics of the game, to learning individual mechanics of each character, and even some generally useful techniques for fighting games as a whole. KI has it all in their training mode.
I cannot express how much I've missed this game. It just looks and feels so much better than any other fighting game, top tier. More KI content PLEASE.

Hello to everyone in the Dood Community. I was looking through Steam and saw that Killer Instinct is currently free so I figured, "Why the hell not". What would be some characters to start with a complete noob at the controls or has Max done a video?
Finding exhibition matches is super quick compared to pre update, and my opponents have been friendly! Almost no cheap shit. Most fun I've had on my Xbox one x. Learning spinal.
Did thunders stage always start off bright then transition to rain? I remember it always being dark and storming. That background looks rough in daylight. But damn that song goes so hard.
Okay seeing this, and it's gonna be a Whiiiiiiiiiile before you become the "best at LC. 1. when it comes to brackens, you should look at it for a few seconds to deter it away. 2. Brackens Have higher spawn chances on Moons like Vow. 3. if you see a dingy looking apartment room/office space in the facility that is known as the "Bracken room" and a Bracken will spawn eventually too Kill and deag people there if not spotted on time. 4. Brackens can fly over gaps and are faster than the player. 5. NEVER fucking go to Eclipsed moons! 6.Have one person focus on the oilhed while everyone else loots. 7. and always give the tentacle monster behind the counter a lil snackrifice

This game is one of the easiest to learn because of how basic it is. Mastering it is different because of strings and breakers.
