Ikr. Any card is mostly sent to GY because game mechanics. So any decent GY effect always feel unfair to me. The only GY related deck that I like is Orcust because it usually does nothing in your hand.

I started 30 days ago, just finsihed most of the branded despia deck, thank god i already built the ishizues for branded and had most of this, still need like 8 UR gold pass need to reset already
I don't know what rank he's playing at, but I expect most people in gold will surrender the second they see a tear card. Gold is for pet decks after all.
Please do a semi-budget version of this. It's just not feasible for the majority of the semi-competetive MD scene to make this deck. I already spent as much money I'm willing to spend and now I'm Gate kept by a pay wall. I see you were telling us some alternatives but the combos will be different. Awesome content as always!
Tip: always check Dkayed's leaks, he predicted tearlaments were coming out in April ages ago. I saved about 15k gems from events ect from then on. When you have a deck that's this good, make sure you know when to save gems.
If you're going first against a tearlament deck try to summon Avramax using I:p and tear won't be able to touch you. They can make a zues and wipe the field but they would need to with whatever xyz monster they make and since they can only make 1 xyz monster that monster isn't going to survive under Avramax and if the make baronne, bait out its negate and then beat over it.
I don't think people surrender because it's "complex" it's boring playing decks like these, if you know your opponent is gonna take an additional turn during your turn and have effects popping off every time they try to do anything, they're going to surrender. It's just not fun

Even the best players get lost with so much going on and it’s actually interactive because both players get to make decisions and see how the duel will play out. Better than playing a deck that makes 10 negates and you can’t break it.

As someone who HATES what Yu-Gi-Oh has become I have been looking foward to coming back just for playing this meta for a while. The game I loved all those years back is gone, but I saw something interesting in the way Tear mirror matches played out. I wish Yu-Gi-Oh would have leaned more into this complicated long chain-link outplays instead of going back into the status quo whole game being trying to become INGSOC with an unbreakable board and or a trillion hand traps and not letting the opponent play at all.
Technically in this game state they would've chained it to diviner, but it's still a good habit to learn to chain block for hauvnis. The later your opponent can get into hauvnis, the more likely their summons come too late. For example, if the chain resolves in such a way that an opposing dragostapelia can hit the board before your own kitkallos can resolve its search, that hurts a ton. By delaying a hauvnis, you're also increasing your odds of having milled shufflers already or having a Rulkallos on board already (which can potentially stop the summon altogether then).
@@solemnyugioh yeah I get that, but unless I'm missing something, in order to mill 8 you need to activate kit's ignition effect, something that can never be chainblocked, so they would've used havnis already if they had her on the previous chain. I guess it's good for the case that you're under maxx c and they drew an havnis from the merrli summon
Since I don't have enough to make stuff like instant, diviner, etc. while also not having all of the ishizus (I'm missing 2 shuffler and 1 Kelbek), I went for a Punk build. Chaos Ruler has to carry me next format. lol

how about vs tear hate deck? I started using cosmic because there're a lot of floodgate. Because planet at 1, really make the deck lose to some random floodgate.

Well that’s how games works the best deck beat bad decks. There’s not a single game that doesn’t have a higher skill ceiling that once learned beats every deck. As frustrating as “Tearlaments” is without a good pilot the deck is pretty useless.
Called by is honestly kind of bad in the mirror. The shufflers are almost always going to be there and they make called by feel really bad. The diviner call is almost definitely correct though, Baronne Dweller under Elf is backbreaking in the mirror.
If called by trades with a shuffler, that gets you closer to winning. If the shufflers trade with eachother and you can then called by, that gets you closer to winning.

The problem with Tear is that so many decks are absolutely killed. Dinos, Branded, Swordsoul, Trap Decks, I don't even know if Adamancipator can compete.

Well I had to play shaddolls with this because I basically owned shaddolls from 1 year ago when shaddoll-dogmatika-invoked was still relevant (also 8k gems didn't get everything and I didn't have ishizu urs so still missing the 2 keldos)
I play the Branded Despia variant (I dont have all the Ishizu cards yet) as i did in TCG ^^ and it is good. Basically you have less milling but more raw power with mirrorjade and Chimera. You have easy access to Masquerade. And Albion and Lubellion make fusion easier to make. I also use King of the swamp to get more "named card" with Tear and Albaz it work well (no poly yet but you can). Super poly is also accessible with this build. The main issue is when you mill your Albaz and dont have any left (or worst if they are banished). The deck is really good and surprise the MD players that didn't play TCG (where the variant was a thing especially post banlist). Turn one is basically Masquerade/Branded in red setup plus kirkalos/easy predaplant/Tear fusion. The main issue is the limit one field spell that is really useful
You have a decklist? So that I can get a few idea on how Branded Tearlament works. Or you can just recommended which Tearlament cards to go for, I've seen some variant in TCG but it's all pre Banlist.
In my 60 card version, I actually took Maxx C out, and have rarely found a need for it. Honestly, kinda crazy that Maxx C actually feels kinda bad. Then again, Grass is arguably more busted with tear.
Ive noticed that day 1, a lot of people have no idea how to play the deck, and so mirrormatches are astoundingly easy. also cryme where. cryme is a spell speed 3 omni negate. i quite like it. also what are you even gonna banish with snow?
- Cryme is solid but it's also a brick going second and a bad mill. If you can make a Baronne, you're not super worried about setting up cryme. If you cut Diviner, I think Cryme is a solid replacement (as mentioned in the vid). - There's a billion shit cards that'll chill in grave. Banishing those to then have access to one of the most broken inerruptions of all time (snow lmao) is well worth it.
Please do an Ishizu Tear + Zoodiac deck like Jesses he won with last week. You are such a better YTuber. The amount of description you go into, to teach people is phenomenal. Bar to none. This man needs to blow up. Get him some income coming in from this to get some sponsers. Winda is kinda cope imo and huge boards are not a thing in tear format. Also lots of tear players run cryme... and have effects that are traps + in grave with shufflers + in field spell + in hand with hauvnis.... DRNM awful right now
I played against this while I was on my Speedroid deck. I nuked his entire field with Kitedrake and the little sheet fusion summoned in his graveyard the faqqqqqq

No. Play something cheap and craft some staples like maxxc, ash, evenly Dark ruller, droplet, nib, infinite. Master Duel can be a really cheap game but you meet to know what to craft and what will be hit. And if you want to have fun try to stay in gold. Above gold will be a tear wasteland. I would have recomanded you to make floowandereeze but with map at 1 will be way to brick. Don't worry they will kill tear in les than 3 months maiby even earlyer if they have a massive drop of players

You attack with a XYZs monster and after the BP you can special summon Zeus using that monster as a material. And it’s quick effect is a board wipe.
In my 60 card version, I actually took Maxx C out, and have rarely found a need for it. Honestly, kinda crazy that Maxx C actually feels kinda bad.
Then again, Grass is arguably more busted with tear.

12000 gems to build it but play it with the gravekeeper trap and super poly pretty fun against adaman

Ive noticed that day 1, a lot of people have no idea how to play the deck, and so mirrormatches are astoundingly easy. also cryme where.
cryme is a spell speed 3 omni negate. i quite like it.

i grinded all the way from gold V to plat today. And ive had 90% mirrormatches.
- Cryme is solid but it's also a brick going second and a bad mill. If you can make a Baronne, you're not super worried about setting up cryme. If you cut Diviner, I think Cryme is a solid replacement (as mentioned in the vid).
- There's a billion shit cards that'll chill in grave. Banishing those to then have access to one of the most broken inerruptions of all time (snow lmao) is well worth it.
Tier 0 format sounds like a good time to take a break from MD

Ending on Kitkallos and Sulliek is the play against max c. Not worth adding cards to counter it tbh

Tearlament deck is not an easy deck to play to be honest, and your need really have sharp what card your have activated

Winda is kinda cope imo and huge boards are not a thing in tear format. Also lots of tear players run cryme... and have effects that are traps + in grave with shufflers + in field spell + in hand with hauvnis.... DRNM awful right now

I played against this while I was on my Speedroid deck. I nuked his entire field with Kitedrake and the little sheet fusion summoned in his graveyard the faqqqqqq
Im so salty I used 6k gems only to get melfy cards that aren't even useable. This roll was even worse when I tried to get spright, but at least the other decks were useable.

Nooooo, they will get hit hard on the banlist. If you really like them and want to play them go ahead. But it will get hit hard on the upcoming banlists. So decide for yourself
No. Play something cheap and craft some staples like maxxc, ash, evenly Dark ruller, droplet, nib, infinite. Master Duel can be a really cheap game but you meet to know what to craft and what will be hit. And if you want to have fun try to stay in gold. Above gold will be a tear wasteland. I would have recomanded you to make floowandereeze but with map at 1 will be way to brick. Don't worry they will kill tear in les than 3 months maiby even earlyer if they have a massive drop of players
