This week Donald walks us through how AAT 505 can make light to moderate scratches and defects blend right into the existing panel color. You'll never feel like the repaired panel doesn't match the rest of your car!

Great product. Love the fact that it can go over black trim.
yes, it helps a lot.
I learned on a rotary and to this day prefer the rotary hands down. True paint correction!

Interesting. Thanks Donald your products will make my life easier, and also my clients will be happier. ✌🏽 😎 👍🏼
Thanks.
I can't help but laugh when he said, "most body shops deliver the car back like this and it's up to the detailer to bring it back." If the body shop isn't getting paid to polish the car they aren't going to. It's no different than a detailer. If they aren't getting paid to polish a whole vehicle they aren't going to either. I know when I paint I don't polish the rest of the car for free. I give it as an additional option. Some go for it and some don't.
Donald Great Job ....great product
Thanks, and Thanks
Im loving more and more this brand. Do you guys also provide 1 to 1 training?
Can you follow this glaze up with a ceramic coat? Is there a cure time to the glaze?
It leaves behind a coating of wax. putting a ceramic coating on wax will just make it fall off as the wax breaks down. Coatings go onto bare clear coat.
What's the difference between this and 3D Speed?
Would the 505 work just as well with a DA? Do you make a flexible backing plate for a DA? What speed are you using on your rotary? Never used a rotary for fear of burning through the clear.
505 Works great with a DA. Does your DA have a threaded or stud mount?
as far as speed on the rotary, keep it low enough that you have control and the polisher is not bouncing over the surface. The 505 likes it slow for protection, a little faster for more correction.

this black one is ok but you want your foam flat mostly when using this product
@@3DCarCare It has a threaded stud. Thank you very much.
I would like a sticker with the logo and company slogan to put on my tool box at work. I wouldn't mind a regular v neck or crew neck shirt to work out in. By winters end I will purchase the 501/502 combo. Will the backing plate work with an air polisher? At my job as a trailer mechanic, part of the job is polishing aluminum wheels at each service and my blue point is starting to lose its Velcro.
we have a lot of different backing plates on our website. The green ones have threads, the black 5.5 one has a stud. You should be able to find what you need at 3Dproducts.com
Just want to confirm, there are no fillers in this.
Now should we clay the car first before doing the 505
You should clay it if it needs it. If there is no oxidation or contaminates you can skip the clay
LOL. I just noticed you're working on a rental car.
yes.
