Donald Williams compares Presta Ultra Cutting Cream and 3D AAT 501 compound. This video takes 3D sandpaper for a spin and then Donald compares the two compounds with a knitted wool pad on two sides of a test hood. See which one you like.

Scott just been doing some reseach on wool pads for cutting and they are not pure wool! Most of them are synthetic man made wool, is there a difference between natural wool and synthetic wool when it comes to the buffing outcome? Are the 3D wool pads 100% Wool ?

The main difference you will see is that the artificial wool will shed all over your work area. The real lambswool will not shed as much by a long shot.

Ive used the presta and 501 and presta clearly better....we like to wipe down alcohol water after buffing before polishing to dry up the fillers and when we used 501 there were alot more miss buffs and how tp redo it...presta not so much....i wouldnt use prestas polish tho...to many halograms left that black just looks awful....501 polish is very good
We are glad you like our 502 Polish. May We suggest that you take our 500 Compound and 520 Polish for a spin. Are you using foam to cut or wool? the 501 cutting compound is best when used with wool.

La verdad que muy mala técnica de pulido para la demostración y la posición de la mano también está mal no se usa esa manija ya que la presión es lateral y genera hologramas

I just read the description. Thanks for sharing. Although in general, diminishing abrasives are meant to achieve "as much of" a one step process as possible. High speed rotary will marr paint regardless. Diminishing Abrasives are truly a DA machine product IMO. This comparison should be with their competitors such as 3M or M100, not a completely different class of products
@@mr.lad-detailingtricksntip Both the Presta and 501AAT are marketed to the body shop industry, not necessarily detailers. I'd say it's a fair comparison.
