This is what made "Beste Zangers" such a great show. The genuine friendships formed among the singers and the care they each took when choosing the works of their counterparts to cover was everything. The way Tim Akkerman reacted to this performance of his own song about his disabled brother nearly moved me to tears.
This song was written by Tim Akkerman (the man on the couch with the beard) for his disabled brother. He said that he wasn't going to cry when he knew it was going to be covered. Floor proved him wrong ☺️
It's not only her absoluut incredible singing, you can tell that the feeling comes straight from her heart 💖
Tim Akkerman is the guy on the couch who wrote this song for his disabled brother, who is his hero.
It's a Dutch TV show, but Floor Jansen attended the German version of this show. That show is called 'Sing Meinen Song' . In both shows Floor did an amazing job. Hopefully the live videos from that show find their way to RUclips.

I believe there is a You Tube clip of Tim Ackerman singing this his song with Floor Jansen at a I believe was a Dutch Sports Awards night , because I recognised one or two persons in the audience.

I would like to recommend strong from emma heesters on this same show. its actually a song written by floor herself but emma covered it for her on the show. she sang it amazingly and let me just say, there were some tears flowing. Floor wrote it for her mother so there is a lot of emotion in it... hope you react to it ♥
My favorite performance from Beste Zangers is the Vivo per Lei duet that Henk Poort and Emma Heesters sang together. It's pure magic. Hope you'll react to that one too.

basically they sang for each other so all of them sang nightwish songs or songs related to floor somehow on one night and on the other they did it for Henk and so on.
