I am an over the road truck driver. Listen to him! I lost 60 pounds in 7 months doing this. Some of the meat I bought was already fully cooked, but I pretty much did a high protein low carb diet with a mini air fryer. Worked out at planet fitness every couple of days and the pounds rolled right off. Even when not in a deficit at first, you can slowly increase time inbetween meals as you adjust to a low sugar and low carb diet. If you’re pre diabetic, there’s a chance your blood sugar can get to healthy levels doing this.

Drinking muscle milk and salads alot, the occasional beef jerky and parfaits and I've dropped 23 pounds in a couple weeks. Down from 316 to 293. Gonna keep this up, having the knowledge of what to eat makes it so much easier.

    3. Grass-Fed Organic Beef: Recommended for its high protein content, leaner cuts to reduce calorie intake, and its role in controlling glucose levels and promoting satiety for fat loss.
    4. Pork: Noted for being a forgotten meat option with high protein and monounsaturated fats, aiding in fat loss and providing a different protein source.
    5. Ground Chicken: Specifically 96% lean ground chicken mentioned for its high protein content, affordability, and convenience as a fat loss food option.
    6. Wild Caught Salmon: Recommended for its high protein content, low fat, and good omega-3 fatty acids that can assist with fat loss and overall health.

There are so many fitness and heath content providers on RUclips. These people all look good but most of them live an immoral lifestyle. I saw one the other day and the guy was taking about something called "body count". I never heard of this before. It's about how much sex you can have with different partners, the motivation being getting in shape and being rich and pursuing what this world has to offer. Nevertheless I will not be watching anything from his channel ever again. You mentioned your wife. That immediately tells me your disposition; Awesome. Have you found ‘healthy noodle’ at costco yet?
It’s 30-60 calories that adds a serving or two to whatever you’re eating. Which means you’re eating more but only ingesting an extra 30 or 60 cal instead of 300+ calories of the cup of food you’re eating. Big help.

Mander 1n- don't let anyone tell you what you can or can not do when it comes to your health, dreams, and goals. I work out daily, and as a man, I only consume about 1800/1900 calories a day, so for a woman, 1300-1400 doesn't seem so bad depending on your goals and reason to lose weight, obviously, if you are looking to gains then you want to consume more calories to a limit, and if you are strictly focusing on weight loss you should be good. I have lost as of today 23.2 pounds and I feel amazing that was three weeks ago I average about 1.09 lbs lost daily. I was able to run again for the first time in a long time. You know your body, so if you feel a bit off, add 50 calories and continue to add until you feel good. When I told people the calories that I would consume I received comments like "that's too low, or don't rush it or my favorite you will never lose good fat at that amount, only muscle" blah, blah, blah, blah... well my doctor says different. Not only have I put on 5 pounds of muscle but also lost massive amounts of weight and shredding. So I say go for it and like I am doing quiet those nay-sayers. My only advice is to listen to your body, I started at only 1500 calories but realized to get the gain and still shred I would have to raise them and it worked for me, it too will work as long as you listen to your body..... Good luck...

That oikos yogurt is awesome. I buy two tubs at a time because my kids love it, too. I’ve looked at protein bars a lot but it’s hard to find clean ones that aren’t basically a candy bar. I’ve heard the Kirkland brand from Costco are pretty good so I might try those. I’m glad to see that a lot of the foods that you’re showing are foods I buy every week. I also love strawberries and they’re pretty affordable right now. I also wanted to mention low fat cottage cheese. It’s 13g of protein for 80 calories. How’s that for a ratio? And it’s very versatile. I not only eat it with fruit for a snack but you can blend it with a little water, mustard, and seasonings and it makes an awesome salad dressing.
