I can't do flatscreen racing anymore. VR is truly incredible. The main thing for me is being able to judge distances and speeds so much better. First few times I was wondering how I was getting so lucky dodging T1 crashes, then it hit me it wasn't luck, I was just able to react quicker because my brain was able to sense direction changes so much more easily.
@@dtz1000 Damn. Could it be your settings? I know I can't do VR in AMS2 for too long on tracks with elevation changes (Oulton Park for example) because of the way it moves the horizon. I wish there was a way to fix it in place, but it makes me sick. AC doesn't have this issue and I can go for hours.
100% agreed... Tried trippel screen setup, but its no where near the level of immersion you get from good VR headsets and finetuned settings in the game! Im using the G2 headset and its incredible! And now with the release of Varjo Aero and the Pimax Crystal the future looks good!
VR has the strangest reputation. I have colleagues at work before VR saying it’s a gimmick, it looks crap and they have no interest. I took my quest 2 into work once, six of them bought a quest 2 there and then because they instantly fell in love. I took it in again on Friday to two new colleagues saying the same thing and one of them bought a quest 2 there and then. VR is amazing and I love being the one that introduces new users to VR, the smile on their face is incredible! I understand it’s not for everyone, but everyone should at least try it before passing judgement. I only race driving sims in VR and I only play normal games in VR these days.
I'm someone who doesn't have any of the gear, no racing wheel, no seat, nothing but a ps5, but man, the sim world looks incredible! Your set up is very inspiring.
VR is definitely the future of simracing and gaming in general, we just happen to be at its early stage. But the VR technology will improve just like the GPUs have which present us photorealistic graphics, which many deemed impossible in the past.
I plan to upgrade soon, but so far I'm very satisfied with the Quest 2 and 3060ti. I don't really care about graphics and stuff. Having the depth of field and be able to move the parallax is enough for me to choose it instead of any triples with 240fps and ultra high settings.
sadly enough, technology is there, but the game-engine/applications can't follow. current applications used are simply too taxing for any civilian used PC configuration or you need to go full industrial/military maybe .... open up a budget than 🙂
never had triples but had the chance to use a few setups over the years and I own an index. VR is a game changer for sim racing. I can race people uncomfortably close compared to my old single screen setup.
Motion + VR is amazing! I find my consistency is greatly improved. My depth perception in regards to breaking points, my spacial awareness and just overall immersion with the feeling of G-forces from the motion seat and VR is unmatched. I do however completely agree on the cons you mentioned.
I'm going to get the 2dof Dofreality setup, and slowly add the upgrades until I have 6dof. I'll first get to feel my acceleration, braking, and steering. Then, I'll add sliding. Finally, I'll get to feel the suspension.
I was swearing by VR for a year and a half now. It made me feel the car better than before. It made me understand my mistakes. It made me feel what the car feels. That said, I just got a triple setup going... and im loving it. The sheer comfort. I am in no need of taking brakes when driving (and not nausea, just the warmth, the thing on your head, the sweat, the slight discomfort...) Even alt-tabbing is a problem in VR. On triples, everything is easy. When properly set up, the triples are just amazing as well. It took me almost no time to get my head around them and get on the same level where I was with VR. VR helped me understand the car, made me faster, but on triples, i feel a lot more comfortable, and with the knowledge i got from the VR, i can push further.
I also just made the change from 8 months of iRacing to VR to triples a couple days ago. Somehow managed to beat some of my personal best times I got on VR with the triples already, and other than it being far more comfortable I am really blown away by the extremely wide field of view. Can actually see where all the cars are around me on triples, whereas in VR you can't see to your sides without moving your entire head to look to the side. Makes me more confident to drive in traffic without the tunnel vision VR gives. I was using VR based on it being the end game solution it seems most seem to rave about, but seems it has too many drawbacks. I find myself quite a bit more immersed with the triple monitors also, due to actually being able to enjoy the crystal clear scenery and not having something putting weight on my face and yanking on facial hair.
Mach bitte weiter so! Dein Content ist mit das beste was ich im Simracing bereich auf RUclips kenne! Mein größten Respekt In english: For me you are THE role model when it comes to simracing. I often just watch your videos because I'm so fascinated by how much love you put into it. Your videos are just plain fun. I would be very happy about a normal race from you, where you can just enjoy everything. Please keep it up! Your content is among the best I know of in the sim racing area on RUclips! My greatest respect!
I bought a OG Vive in 2017 without any knowing about VR... that blows my mind! Last year i set up a Triple Monitor Setup. It was okay, but far away from VR... Now i have spend more than 7000 hours in VR and wan't miss it! I sold my real racingkart and bought a Motion Rig. In combination with the Reverb G2 and a Powerfull 3090 it feels so close to real race driving.
Great as always! Actually using VR and my old single screen. The firt time I use VR all this world change!! Is not perfect but is absolutely incredible. I used to explain that you are inside the game, part of it. Difficult to imagine if you dont try it. Now my single screen is use only for special moments with friends around, just because dont need the isolation as you well said. Thanks for your videos. I love your voice!!!
VR completely changes the game literally, especially in the sim world, both racing and flight sim! Would love to see you try the Varjo Aero and give us your impressions of that headset, I'm sure you'll see a huge improvement over the Index
Man , I don’t think there was bigger upgrade I ever felt then joining the VR and see first time some of my favorite cars and track from inside 😃 just dream become true 😁 I must the Varjo team and ask them to send one for test indeed!
The Varjo is a beautiful headset but it has a very huge flaw, it lacks any form of motion smoothing. For a headset with such resolution and clarity motion smoothing is a almost a necessity to have a fluid experience. Maybe for flight sims you can also do without as you deal with gentler movements, but for sim racing I doubt even the most experienced of users can run a full race without feeling sick or having problems with input lag because of such a lack.
@@lavir74 I have found Varjo to be allot smoother than my G2, even when not locked at 90 it’s still considerably smoother than any other headset I’ve tried, there is no motion smoothing at the moment but don’t no if it’s just the clarity than makes it feel so smooth below 90fps
Motion smoothing would only be useful if you can't reach the target fps of your headset natively. A beefy gpu can run 90+ fps in vr without motion smoothing, do the aero would be completely fine without it.
@@sincity_steve yes in an ideal world, but hardware is a bottleneck for VR at moment, sims like ACC u can’t hold a stable 90fps, even iRacing you get some dips at times, I think with the new 4000 series Gpu we will see a massive leap in VR performance
Absolutely the best channel in my opinion. I love it when he mixes how the body perceives the real environment, VR or triple screens with racing. He apparently has some background about the science of the biology.
Big hug brother 😃 I don’t have science background but I’m very curious and I spend 2 hours daily for years and learn as much as I can for my biology and philosophy/philosophy and try to optimize the quality of my life and love sharing what I’ve learned over the years with friends and you guys here 😃
I had a bad motion sickness from vr, 5mins and i felt very sick, what helped me was to drive in tracks with minimum elevation changes, and adjust the graphics so the fps dont drop below 70. I still get motion sickness if i drift for about 20mins but can race for over an hour without problem. Hope it helps anyone having motion sickness.
I wonder if it ever changed for you? I'm using vr for few years now and have no issues in sims, doesnt matter which track and i can race for 2-3h (at that point quest battery is dead, getting new cable with charging splitter). In the beggining i had huge issues playing fps games, only teleporting around helped. Right now i can comfortobly play HL Alex with fluid motion on controller joystick.
i have 3x 27inch screens but since i have VR i never use the screens i always race with VR if VR-battery is empty i don't want to go further with the screens, when i search for a new game it has to have VR capability
Love the content man. VR all the way, just for the fact of 3D. That alone makes it worth it for me. I think it gives you an advantage. I've only been sim racing for a year (if I'm really lucky an hour or two every few days) and I'm putting up top ten times in AMS2 regularly.
Holy shit !!!!! When I suggested you do a video like this on your last video I had no idea what a mind like yours might create. Without doubt the best, most intelligent and reasoned exploration or VR vs triples I have ever seen. Informative, intelligent and able to relate to what people want / need / dream about. KUDOS!! You managed to sum up and actually address all of the things that I had wrestled with in choosing which direction to go. Personally I have gone with a scary ' all in ' investment on enhancing my rig with a full VR with an Aero. You describe exactly why perfectly! The nightmare is you also tease the idea of what it would be like to experience the immersive real world environment you have created… For a while that will have to wait as the detail you have created is immense. One day I hope I may do it This video proves to me you with out doubt are the best Sim racing channel out there- everyone else has a LOT to learn from your approach Thank you! ( BTW how is the Patreon coming on??? )
First thank you so much for reminding me last time about that topic and as a huge fan of the VR world I had to discuss this ! I create lost videos from the environment I build but if I had personally only single choice for the rest of my life , VR will be my choice without a doubt! For me VR is like dream become true 😁 Thank you for the beautiful post too buddy and I haven’t had the time to check how it works with the Patreon but I will set one at some point for sure I promise 🤗
@@chepilevski Its so interesting that you personally love the VR experience - yet you have the patience to build a triple rig for such amazing content creation .. i am impressed. For me from the day I put on a VR headset - i never looked back, I had been watching VR tech since the 90's but it never really delivered, But now! oh WOW it broke the uncanny valley a couple of years ago and has just gone crazy since, The ability to use the stereoscopic /depth perception to intuitively find lines and apexes that I personally cant do on flats because i feel i am playing a game. I used to drive a 205 gti in forest spec for rally and it brings everything back in such a visceral real experience we are lucky to be living in a golden agedevelopment You should definitely contact VARJO to get a review headset. I would love to know what you think. and yes my friend you should be able to do this professionally and focus on what you can do. ( if you are not already ) PATREON ;) you
well you tube truly mangled that reply !!! 🙄 I would love to see what you think about motion - they will be lining up to offer you a rig and do more of the stuff about how to get better - you apply a totally different approach that is like finding gold on the ground I am a brand consultant for some pretty big companies and I would be very happy to chat to you about building your brand :)
I cannot stress enough, how important your suggestion on taking an immediate break is, when you start feeling VR sickness. Having handled VR Flightsims very well initially (apart from flat spinning), I was totally overwhelmed by trying VR FPS games. I tried to "push through" and was a wreck for several days, needing way more sleep than my work and family schedule could offer. I race in VR almost daily now, and have regular IL2 or DCS flying sessions, but I cannot convince myself to ever start a VR FPS game again now. Thank you for your awesome content, and the detailed explanations on each topic you touch.
Yeh Toby, I’m from the lucky ones and experience something only on my first drive but my computer restarted for some reason and wen I come back that feeling was gone ! Then I try some stupid FPS experience on the oculus at the time moving trough space with joystick and in about 3 minutes I felt like the world collapse! It is such an awful feeling .
First time I tried VR was with a racing game and I got VR Sickness pretty quickly because I wasn't focusing on the drive I was too busy looking around at the world in awe. I enjoy VR now but more often just play on a single 32 inch curved display. One of these days I may get triples. I'm sure I would love it.
I had all of those side effect , my first day trying VR I was dumb enough to play the most uncomfortable games and roller coasters, I started to get sick and tried to gut it out. I started sweating like crazy and had a headache for days and a constant whistle in my ears. But I didn't give up and now I can handle anything. I will try iracing with it first time today. Thanks for the video.
My setup is all about VR, although I have a monitor on an arm to swivel for titles that are not VR compatible. I love being fully immersed, and forget about everything else, but I absolutely see the case and need for triples. I don't have too much time on my hands, having 2 little kids, so I don't need it for long periods of time, which works well for any discomforts it may bring. Lately, since updated UI, my favorite has been RFactor2, which is less demanding on VR than ACC. Hope next year the new batch of graphics cards will actually be available so I can upgrade to get all the eye candy! Thank you so much for the amazing content you provide!
VR all the way. I don’t quite get the latency you describe and I am way quicker in VR than on screens. I’m lucky that I don’t sweat and my fan system keeps it comfortable. Your con tho of the isolation of VR is actually a pro for me. Locking me into the cockpit of a car without worrying or getting distracted with what’s going on around me is a huge help for concentration and immersion. While I love your setup I agree most of it is not useful if you can’t see it. I’m going to move to a hybrid system that way I have both but I generally just can’t give up the depth perception especially when I’m in packs of cars it all feels better just feeling the distance between things in VR.
I totally understand what you mean and if personally have only one choice, VR is the way to go 100% That feeling of seating actually in the car is next level of immersion and I believe VR is best upgrade not just for sim but gaming in general 😃 And as you’ve said , I’m still faster in VR even if I can feel that latency switching from triples to VR and I believe the awareness of the positioning the car makes me more precise and in racing , close fight is much more easier for me ! But again, I have seen people doing better on screens so I guess we are different 😁
I can't comment on triples, I would love to try them one day, but VR is just so immersive, and can only get better with headsets that will have high clarity, being able to look into the apex is amazing. Great video yet again mate!
It took 15-20 minutes a day for about a week to get over my VR sickness now I can have 8 hour sessions without issue. Still close my eyes during a spin out as going backwards in VR makes my stomach lurch lol
You are my Sim-Racing-Guru. You are really an inspirational guy and your Vids are amazing - Thank you really much. After first time use a VR-Headset in a Simracing game I was completely fall in love with this combination. Even with a Joystick the immersion was fantastic. Since this experience I am investing in Simracing a lot of time (and Money) and i love it :). I am still a slug on track but its a lot of fun to drive in a AC-League with others. For me because of no space for triples no way to come away from VR. I have tried it with a single 32" curved, but the immersion of VR is soooo much better. Only the visual quality is a little bit a "fun-breaker" for me. I am now waiting to get a alpha mini with gt4 wheel and than I am f....g happy with my setup (for now ;)).
Wen I jump in VR first time I’ve said to myself if I’m going to be last in every race I will still use VR and I don’t care 😂 This is magic world and it felt at the time like a crazy dream become true 😃 Big hug Bro 🤗
Awesome video and awesome advice. I don't have triples yet. Need to measure my space properly and see if it will work. So right now I am racing on a 47" LED TV. 80cm away from my face...feels great...but I know triples is where it is at. I use my VR headset for having fun and like you put it so nicely..."Get lost in that world". Love your content. Glad I subscribed.
Interesting points. It comes down to personal preference but for me it is VR 100%. The immersion is unreal, the sweat, heat and discomfort is something I experience in my real life race car so I was blown away how close it was with a VR head set. Combined that experience with a motion sim, you have pretty well tricked your brain to get you in the zone. Absolutely no way playing on a flat screen anymore.
A big advantage that people forget with vr is that you can move your head. That means that you can move your head sideways to look around the a-pillar or the halo in an open-wheeler. That makes a big difference to triples in my opinion
I always felt much more comfortable in VR and the head movement is just natural! The physical FOV may be smaller but with the freedom is just unlimited 😁
I'm definitely #3. I've been racing in VR for 2.5 years now to the point I can comfortably do endurance races with stints up to 3 hours. At first it was sweaty, but getting your body used to high performance can really reduce how hot you are. Not just by racing but also working out, fitness, jogging, etc. Get fit like a real racing driver and you'll be much more comfortable racing.
I'm the same way. I've been VR endurance racing for about 15months and I love it. You can't beat the immersion and I find it easier to put the tyre exactly where I want versus guessing on a flat screen
At first I thought I was going to be able to handle it but it seems that it's going to take quite some time 😅 Great video, thank you for the information.
VR and motion rig is awesome and removes some of the bodies disbelief which can cause sickness. No g forces but feeling the bumps and curbs is excellent.
Absolutely brilliant 👍👍. Been racing all day on AMS2 and just finished a 1 hour stint in VR 😁. I'm gonna refuel (burger & chips) and go again - watching your channel is so bad,,,,, your so bad, your so inspiring 😁👍😁👍. I love all the Vids you do. Keep up the brilliant work.
AMS2 in VR and is such a brutal experience man ! Having 24h race conditions with on Nordschleife going trough all the efforts is just incredible experience!
The most comfy headset so far for me is the pico 4, high res, has a built in fan and don’t sweat, combined with yaw2 motion rig, motion plus vr should be the end goal for any sim racer. Going up the mountain in Bathurst feels so real because of the yaw2 has the most degrees of pitch and roll for its price point. Going almost sideways on a banked turn is surreal. Now I just need a wind kit and bass shakers to complete.
What is with these yaw2 stans? That kickstarter has been a massive cluster F and most people havent even got their device. How did you get one and why do you seem oblivious to these issues? And no you don't go "almost sideways", your whole comment reeks of BS.
Great informative Video!Keep the good staff. About the input lag you are talking about in VR ,you can apply offset = no lag.If you dont have motion , you do relay to drive from what the ffb tells you + picture - in the end you need that sens to be oversaturated ! to fill that empty feeling of not feeling g-forces or some movements of the chassis(because in the end your steering input is couzed of what body is telling to your brain where the chassis is moving). If you get a blind men they have increased hearing abilities due to the fact that they cant see.the same is in sim-racing with oversaturated DDs torque(you compensate due to lack of body feeling). Beside that frames goes with the ffb , so in tripples you can go higher fps=more ffb per frames but if the game engine like Iracing sends 60hz (you get 60fps=60 frames with ffb) ,ofc you can you use irFFB to multiplied.About the resolutions of VR that all ppl are talking . Think about something ,before 20 years the TVs availble on the market was with less resolution then the actual Vrs , and we didnt find them pixalated , thats because the pucture sent to them was equal or less to the resolution that they can project- even if they pushed above it was slitly.I have this conclusion after testing by reducing track/car resolution with Oclus CV1.Thas my 50cents - happy driving
As a VR user and a person who sweats a lot in general - I tend to have a bit different experience in that regard. I've raced with Rift S, and it was manageable but tough. Then I switched to Quest 2 - and surprisingly it does not generates _that_ much heat. I've done VLN solo in VR and it was quite comfortable. Of course after 5 hours I needed to change my socks too, but that's kind of expected when you drive for 5 hours )
I had some problems with the original headstrap for quest 2, so sometimes i got foggy lenses. I then bought a Elite-strap copy on amazon for like $30, which sits nicely on my head, and with this strap if it gets really warm, I can flip the quest 2 up a bit so its not directly to my face, making a little opening at the bottom, but not so much it will let a lot of light in.
Interesting point about latency! I went from pretty rapid triples and got immediately faster with VR, though, I found the VR experience so much closer to driving my track car so perhaps that's the reason. Nontheless, brilliant video :)
It is little difference and can be noticeable only if you test side by side but as you said , in VR I can hit my times instantly and with monitors I need some laps ! VR just connect much easier with our biology 😃
VR helps me get my daily dose of F1 and GT-Racing. Fortunately I usually don’t get motionsickness. Next I’ll get a full motion platform hopefully motionsickness will be a thing of the past?
1. your content is absolutely mind blowing and as someone who makes video content I have to say you're one of the ones who inspire me. Everything from lighting, to shot angles, movements, edit, colors, and audio is absolute perfection. Thank you for sharing your skills and talents. I agree with everything you said in the video 2. I use mainly VR (Rift S) for my casual sim racing and I gotta say the realism is just pure jaw drop, every single time, every single lap, even now after 2 years it still feels absolutely mind blowing. However it took me around 4 weeks to be able to go around the track at full speed without feeling nauseous, so that was a slow start for me lol 3. I also have a SUW 49 which I tried, used, and LOVED it, so I can imagine how triples like yours would look like. But the sense of immersion and BEING in the actual car is quite a different experience IMO and still nothing beats it. Having said that, if I were to race daily on a usual basis and anything more than a few hours per day I would definitely not recommend VR. The strain on the eye is obvious after long sessions with red-eyes, minor head aches, and eye pain. Keep at it and happy racing ...p.s I am stil waiting for the next gen 3D TVs promised years ago where you no longer need glasses, imagine that for sim racing with triplets wwoww 🤣🤣
I remember the first time I used my original Vive in Asseto Corsa and the immersion blew me away. I put in 50 hours that week. But after setting up my triple 27's and adding button boxes, a handbrake and a decent sound system I think I prefer the out of VR experience for pure comfort at this current time. What you said about replacing the headset lining and sweating buckets is far too true. I do look forward to future generations of VR headset with life-like resolutions though. The future of sim driving is looking very promising.
We are living an existing times and Simracing future it looks really bright! VR for me is a dream become true and I want to see it in 10 years from now 😃
I think this is a rare case where your sim rig is more immersive that vr, all your displays, button boxes, safety nets and wonderful wheel rims are real, you can touch them! If I had your setup I would feel guilty putting on a vr headset and being blind to such an environment
Thx buddy 🤗 I’m still blown away every time I jump in car with VR and I truly love that feeling of being in the car but also enjoy the rig on triple 😃 They both have advantages and disadvantages. Thx for the support brother 🤛
I never had binocular vision, my world is flat all the time. On the flip side I don't really have to make a decision here, triple monitor is the way to go. I do have a VR headset for Beat Saber and such but never felt comfortable driving, my lap times an cosistency took a big hit, and I'm pretty slow to begin with. This channel is a gem btw, thanks for the awesome content!
You should try a mixed reality setup with your cockpit, using Open Kneeboard, Virtual Desktop and a Headset with passthrough colour passthrough. I think this would allow you to still enjoy your replica rig with VR, and also solves the muscle memory issue with your button boxes.
Having raced with triple CRT monitors and TrackIR about 30 years ago i have to say VR really changed my POV (LOL) The BIG negative for VR is that 1) it takes a while to get used to and for your brain to learn 2) you need the best GPU money can buy 3) It will take a lot of patience to get the best graphics setting for each sim 4) if you dont put on your HMD the right way even with all the former points correct without that sweetspot it was all wasted time and money.....But once you get it all right you are in another world. I often step out of my car in the pits and just go to the pit wall and watch the cars go by...LOL I LOVE THE FUTURE !!
Great work, superb video as always. But you just confused me more than ever. I am on VR right now for lack of space, but it is evident that I need a Triple setup also. My wife is not happy with you.
😁 Tell you wife she need a happy husband 😁 Tell her family is like a car and the man in the family is the engine and engine with bad fuel it doesn’t work well but if you put some boost in the fuel it flys and makes everyone happy around 😁
Great explained buddy! It's just like when you are on a big boat, with the difference that we feel the motion, but the eyes detect no movement. I was açtually motion sick for 15 hours after my first try in VR.. But it was too good, so I kept going back every day for 14 days.😅 After that I've never been motion sick.🎉😃👌 I've gotten both faster, safer and more competitive one track since I got VR do to like you say, depth perception, spatial awareness and how natural it feels to drive in VR.💪😍👌
That was great comparison with the boat buddy 😃 I use to travel with big ships for 12-16 hours trips wen I live in island and ones I travel in crazy storm and got sick for few minutes and now I understand why 🤭😁😁 As I’ve told you many times , for me VR is a dream
i enjoy racing in vr but i recently changed to triple 4k 65" 144hz mini led panels similar to wills from boosted media with sigma intergrale dk2 motion kit on a trakracer tr8 pro chassis. the fov on triple 65'' is crazy.
My first VR experience in a racing game was the nordschleife, what I noticed immediately is that I tried to keep my head still. It took a few turns before I actually started moving my head.
Just say that I bought a vive pro 2, this is in my opinion the biggest upgrade that I never seen in video games! As a driver, I complety see the sim games in a different way: before I had the feeling that sim games were real about their behavior but I found always really diffuclt to feel what speed you are, how the road is, how the brakes work good or not... I was always too fast on new tracks! But now, I drive as in realty, you know this feeling that you can push so much more but you know that you are not a pilote so you prefer to be carefull ;) I feel my car when she slides, she bounces or move a really little bit ! (Sorry for my english, je parle baguette de Paris)
Iracing new support to OpenXR gives very nice performance boost for VR headsets supporting it. With AMS2 and ACC you need to use OpenComposite and toolkit then to modify picture shown but performance benefits are also clear. ACC allready almost starts to be in limit to be playable with VR :)
There's no sweating in VR while driving if you get the attachment fans that blow air down on your face. This attachment is available on the Quest2 so YMMV. It's subtle but it works.
You have some good points there. I am racing in vr. (Started with one Screen - but that was not enougth) since I don't have to space I went for VR. It's impressive how less space you need if you drive in VR. But you need real good hardware to get perfect results. Unfortunately I also like to build stuff, so I can't see it. But will you where talking I realized to best simracing setup would be AR - with that you can enjoy your Rig and the best 3D view. But as always there are pro's and con's for both. I can also enjoy a 6h session without a break. BTW: If you have trouble with motion sickness - set everything up to get a CONSTANT framerate (the highest framerate your VR can handle).
I'm on the opposite spectrum. I can't get it wild enough. the more crazy motion I can get in VR the better. although I am on the RTX 4090 and Quest 3. VR headset. it's much better than the triple monitor. even the input latency is as good as on a monitor setup. also with the Quest 3 passthrough overlay you can interact with your Sim environment as it becomes visible when you put your hands toward the object with a program called Reality Mixer.
Not only VR destroys 3ple monitors setups, but also brings you the realistic experience of wearing a helmet in the race. Real Pilots had to deal with that and the heat involved is so much worse in real life than in VR simulations jejejej
That is subjective topic and many will disagree with you and that absolutely fine !that being said, I personally agree 100% with everything you’ve said 🍻
Such a high quality content, well done! Luckily I dont sweat at all so thats no deal for me. I also dont feel the lag. Maybe I got so used to it. And my rig looks pretty simple, just a OSW and a DIY shifter. So VR all the way for me. One downside for me is that VR glasses have a small sweet spot. So you really have to turn your head to read stuff like lap times etc. I cant forget my first VR experience couple years ago with the Oculus CV1 in iRacing. First track, Laguna Seca. The corkscrew felt so mindblowing. But if I had your rig, I would also go tripple because everything looks so beautiful.
This video is well worth a second look. I keep my Q2 for fun races, when I just want to drive! The sweat problematic is killing me. 🤪 Cant wait to switch from TV to triples though! Have a good weekend Chepi! 🫡 edit: where can I give a 2nd thumbs up?!
Great content as always 👊 so I'm new to vr been using triples for some time. I set up Acc in vr jumped into a practice session with the lamo after a few laps pulled into the pits & was completely blown away when the pit crew were running around in front of me changing tyre's. For me it felt so real sticking with vr 😍
Triple monitors or ultrawide ? I have reached this stage in order to complete my sim racing set up. Your videos help me lot in the progress of my project. I thank you. So' triple or ultrawide monitors ?
I personally prefer triples because of the extra FOV and scale! Ultimatewide Is 2x27 inch setup so it will miss 33% fov and scale ! Happy you are close buddy 🤛
@@chepilevski Thank you. This is a really interesting information that you share with me. I hadn't seen the missing % on a ultrawide setup. I have to go back to some past videos you've done on this topic. Thanks again and continue your videos.
Excellent video and yes, I have fallen out of my chair playing certain titles thinking I could lean on something that wasn't there. While playing those kinds of experiences in VR, you do have to tell yourself "it isn't real" every so often. For sim racing, I love VR, I got a Reverb G2 V2 (black friday sale) and the visuals just blow my Valve Index out of the water, for me, there is that much of a difference, the G2 is just stunning but also requires a fairly beefy PC to use it at it's full SteamVR resolution. I'm not a serious sim racer, just get in and drive kind of thing but I like VR enough that I sold my triples years ago. Don't get me wrong, for really long sessions (endurance racing) I would prefer triples just for the comfort aspect, but for the short sessions I do, VR all the way Baby! LOL
All awesome and helpful information as your situation is similar to mine regarding the play and gear (I want an HP Reverb G2 - what price did you get it for on the Black Friday sale?), except I don't have triples. And I do want to get into a bit of competitive racing, but more like online ranked races, not spending my entire life playing.
@@JoMaMaz I'm in Canada, so the G2 was on sale for $600 and had a red banner at the top of the page saying save $50 if you use the listed code at checkout. My Black Friday price was $550 (free delivery) from the HP site (regular price was $850). In the USA, it would be much cheaper than this. Everything is so much more expensive in Canada, our motto here is..... "Bend over" LOL
@@jackr.749 Thank you for taking the time to respond! :) And, yes, I've had online gaming friends from Canada, so I have heard of the unfortunate high prices you guys have to pay for stuff from here. From an American, I'm sorry about that! I hope you're enjoying the headset! :)
@@JoMaMaz Indeed I am very much enjoying the G2V2, for sim racing, the clarity of the visuals and the Index like audio is amazing, for general VR stuff, the controllers are it's weak point, they feel uncomfortable, un-balanced no capacitive touch, in other words, they are just cheaply made. The problem most run into is the computer hardware required to run the G2, SteamVR sets it's resolution at 3160 x 3092 per eye at 100% res, even though all the sim are not well optimized for VR, going down to 70% resolution can help the FPS while still looking really good in the headset. I'm running a Ryzen 5900x with a FTW3 3080ti and racing sims will bring this hardware to it's knees with the G2. LOL
@@jackr.749 Glad to hear you're enjoying it! Yes...I'm looking at upgrading my ancient PC, and, yeah...it's not looking pretty for the price if I would want to run the G2 with high settings for sim racing. :/ It sounds like the new GPU cards may be able to do quite well, but there is always the "when will they come out," and of course, the cost will always go up WAY higher than the already high price listed. *rolls eyes*
I'm driving on 32" 4K and Oculus Rift. Your explanation ist just perfect. VR for Immersion better Carrfeling and positioning. Monitor for longer Races. My dream would be to try the HP Reverb G2, because this one should have the clearest View (on VR under 1k). But I can wait a little more time for falling Prices for GPUs. I also driving GT Sport on PS5, would be crazy if the new PS VR2 will also work with PC ... time will show.
i started sim racing because i bought an oculus, over the years i got tired of the quality of life issues with VR, i transitioned to an ultrawide then to triples, ended up back on the ultrawide for reasons, i am glad i gave up VR though as i am much happier on screens, i now have a single 43" 4k monitor and love the extra vertical screen size
This is actually one of the things I have been really torn on. An oculus quest and link cable right now, just to give VR on the PC a shot, isn't that expensive. I'd be able to give it a go and see how I like the immersive experience. I've run triple screens before and love it, but I always had complaints about how narrow the view was vertically. I'll keep this video in mind when I do decide to take the plunge and try out both setups again. I just got myself a cockpit and direct drive wheel, so this is probably the best time to figure out which I prefer more.
nice video! first time i saw it actually. I also have both VR (Rift S) and triples. AMS2 is amazing in VR, but pretty much everything else requires too much tinkering with settings to get the maximum out of the experience. Eventhough i have a RTX3080ti. I also have quite a nice simrig, with buttonbox and DDU, it's true you miss all of these when racing in VR. Quite a nice collection of wheels you have there!
My vote goes for VR. The imersion pays for all the negatives in my opinion. The sweating sucks the most and maybe also the lower resolution than you have with the screen. But nice comparison video!
Not sure how you actually notice latency in vr but its probably not actual vr mode but types of displays as each screen has different response time so something like bigscreen beyond will probably be much faster as oled (micro-oled in this case true RGB mode) panels tend to be much faster over lcd technology.
Have you already tried the Varjo Aero HMD? Really would like to know how much clearer the Image qualitiy is und the response rate due to 200hz it can offer
Hey Steylian Thanks for the quality video as always. In your opinion would you say the Valve Index is the best VR for Sim Racing ? I am looking to get a VR set up as I currently run triples and love the current setup but I would like to have VR as an alternative. Just keen your opinion having tried various VR devices.
Index is amazing but I’m sure new Gen is around the corner and I don’t know if worth investing in index right now buddy! I love it for the awesome tracking but definitely need more resolution and I believe we are close to have soon some great headset as the Aero 💪
Great video as usual and very well put 👌🏽 For me personally, I realised what resolution snob I am when I tried VR. I just can’t deal with the small focus point and overall lack of quality for sustained period compared to my triple 2k 32’s. I just enjoy doing a few hotlaps in VR for some fun and immersion but am not interested in actually racing in VR at all.
Thanks very informative video. I'm on a tv and since years I'm thinking about upgrading to tripples. I guess you forgot one point though - space. Tripples are using a lot of space compared to a VR headset, my question though, can you also use the Headset in Windows, meaning get rid of all monitors or do you still need one and only use the headset in games?
Good point bro , thx 🤛 You can use Windows with software in VR but you will still need to fire one monitor to start the the VR software and connect ! I used my setup here with small monitor for few years !
@@chepilevski I can not wait bro I’ve been using the Logitech G920 and playing forza 7 after this last view months of watching the iracing got me hooked going fanatec and Vr Hp gen 2 🙏u really inspired me as well
As a VR User for a few years now - this was another fantastic video, RBM - and I definitely agree that VR is not for everyone..... But could i ask you about the footage from 5;15 pleas. Is this 'stock" footage from one of those common websites - or is this a VR program that I have personally never seen before? Cheers RBM. [:]-)
Two of my drivers use VR full time for sim practice before a real race. I tried both of their setups and really enjoyed it. Problem for me was I race competitively on WSS which I didn't think about beforehand. I went ahead and purchased my own VR headset and during testing it was great like before! But when it came time for my first race in VR it was horrible. Within minutes I was sweating and the lens began to fog up. Thankfully it was only a 12 minute sprint. Then I was struggling to find my Brake Bias & TC knobs during qualifying and the race. This distracted me every time and caused me to lose consistency. I told the team I was selling my headset and they were totally confused. I had to explain that for my use it wasn't practical. If you race and interact with your sim equipment often, stick with monitors. If you like to just practice, hotlap, or cruise around then VR is for you! P.S. - HP Reverb G2 for sale w/ BoboVR M2 strap!
Great video :) I race on A curved monitor myself & VR :) & Both are great in their own way :) But there is just something special, with being "in" the car 🤩🤩
I feel exactly like you but if for some reason I have only one choice for the rest of my life I will give up all I build around my cockpit and take the VR 😃 that’s just how I personally feel about the virtual world 😃
I love VR and I think it will be much better in future. High resolution in VR makes a difference. We are still far away from "retina" resolution in headsets. Micro OLED will also improve immersion during night time racing. And hopefully we will get much vider field of view in future as well.
VR is good, but motion sickness will always hold it back. I still get motion sickness after 3 years of using VR headsets. It has not gone away for me.
@@dtz1000 not a problem for most people
100% agreed... Tried trippel screen setup, but its no where near the level of immersion you get from good VR headsets and finetuned settings in the game!
Im using the G2 headset and its incredible! And now with the release of Varjo Aero and the Pimax Crystal the future looks good!
what are you using, valve index is crap :p, used it for 1000 hours, and its too warm with an activity like simracing for me
VR has the strangest reputation.
Totally agree with you buddy 🤛
I plan to upgrade soon, but so far I'm very satisfied with the Quest 2 and 3060ti. I don't really care about graphics and stuff. Having the depth of field and be able to move the parallax is enough for me to choose it instead of any triples with 240fps and ultra high settings.
I can actually imagine this being ture
sadly enough, technology is there, but the game-engine/applications can't follow. current applications used are simply too taxing for any civilian used PC configuration or you need to go full industrial/military maybe .... open up a budget than 🙂
yes, but 3d monitors are on the way up too. monitors won't always be seen as a "2d flat screen only perception that will never compare with VR"
never had triples but had the chance to use a few setups over the years and I own an index.
VR for my is just so natural to drive the car , I almost don’t need practice 😃
I'm going to get the 2dof Dofreality setup, and slowly add the upgrades until I have 6dof. I'll first get to feel my acceleration, braking, and steering. Then, I'll add sliding. Finally, I'll get to feel the suspension.
@@TheElvenKeys nice 👍🏻 you won’t regret it. Adds so much more information to the behaviour of the car. Helps to immerse you into the experience.
💪❤️

I found is very hard to describe what really is VR and that was the reason I start explaining how it works with biology!
For the brain is jut real 😃
VR completely changes the game literally, especially in the sim world, both racing and flight sim! Would love to see you try the Varjo Aero and give us your impressions of that headset, I'm sure you'll see a huge improvement over the Index
Man , I don’t think there was bigger upgrade I ever felt then joining the VR and see first time some of my favorite cars and track from inside 😃 just dream become true 😁
I must the Varjo team and ask them to send one for test indeed!
@@sincity_steve yes in an ideal world, but hardware is a bottleneck for VR at moment, sims like ACC u can’t hold a stable 90fps, even iRacing you get some dips at times, I think with the new 4000 series Gpu we will see a massive leap in VR performance
every time i come back to your channel i am shocked about the quality fo your content! keep up the good work
Absolutely the best channel in my opinion. I love it when he mixes how the body perceives the real environment, VR or triple screens with racing. He apparently has some background about the science of the biology.
Big hug brother 😃
I don’t have science background but I’m very curious and I spend 2 hours daily for years and learn as much as I can for my biology and philosophy/philosophy and try to optimize the quality of my life and love sharing what I’ve learned over the years with friends and you guys here 😃
VR and simulation in any kind of cockpit are a perfect match. Also, putt putt golf is great too. haha
VR is a dream become true 😃
I had a bad motion sickness from vr, 5mins and i felt very sick, what helped me was to drive in tracks with minimum elevation changes, and adjust the graphics so the fps dont drop below 70. I still get motion sickness if i drift for about 20mins but can race for over an hour without problem. Hope it helps anyone having motion sickness.
Thx for sharing buddy 🤛
I wonder if it ever changed for you? I'm using vr for few years now and have no issues in sims, doesnt matter which track and i can race for 2-3h (at that point quest battery is dead, getting new cable with charging splitter). In the beggining i had huge issues playing fps games, only teleporting around helped. Right now i can comfortobly play HL Alex with fluid motion on controller joystick.
Great video, can I know how did you connect 3 monitors without showing the monitor edges? i see it at 9:02
That is with the Asus free bezel kit buddy!
@@chepilevski Thanks got it
i have 3x 27inch screens but since i have VR i never use the screens i always race with VR if VR-battery is empty i don't want to go further with the screens, when i search for a new game it has to have VR capability
Love the content man. VR all the way, just for the fact of 3D. That alone makes it worth it for me. I think it gives you an advantage. I've only been sim racing for a year (if I'm really lucky an hour or two every few days) and I'm putting up top ten times in AMS2 regularly.
And AMS + VR is absolutely brutal experience 😃
I've only been playing league of legends for a few weeks and I'm in the top 10 of players globally.
The nightmare is you also tease the idea of what it would be like to experience the immersive real world environment you have created…
For a while that will have to wait as the detail you have created is immense.
One day I hope I may do it

For me from the day I put on a VR headset - i never looked back, I had been watching VR tech since the 90's but it never really delivered, But now! oh WOW it broke the uncanny valley a couple of years ago and has just gone crazy since, The ability to use the stereoscopic /depth perception to intuitively find lines and apexes that I personally cant do on flats because i feel i am playing a game.

I don't always watch RUclips channels, but when I do, I watch Race Beyond Matter.
Much love brother 🤗
First time I tried VR was with a racing game and I got VR Sickness pretty quickly because I wasn't focusing on the drive I was too busy looking around at the world in awe. I enjoy VR now but more often just play on a single 32 inch curved display. One of these days I may get triples. I'm sure I would love it.
Having both worlds is is the best 😃💪
I had all of those side effect , my first day trying VR I was dumb enough to play the most uncomfortable games and roller coasters, I started to get sick and tried to gut it out. I started sweating like crazy and had a headache for days and a constant whistle in my ears. But I didn't give up and now I can handle anything. I will try iracing with it first time today. Thanks for the video.
What a setup man! INSANE!🙏
Thx bro 😁
VR is just incredible world man !
Now I don’t have much time to use it and every time I join the Virtual world that wow factor is back 😃
VR all the way.
I totally understand what you mean and if personally have only one choice, VR is the way to go 100%
That feeling of seating actually in the car is next level of immersion and I believe VR is best upgrade not just for sim but gaming in general 😃
And as you’ve said , I’m still faster in VR even if I can feel that latency switching from triples to VR and I believe the awareness of the positioning the car makes me more precise and in racing , close fight is much more easier for me ! But again, I have seen people doing better on screens so I guess we are different 😁
what kindo of vr do you have ? ;]
I love your attention to detail in your videos! Glad i stumbled across your channel!
Thx for the support buddy 🤛
I can't comment on triples, I would love to try them one day, but VR is just so immersive, and can only get better with headsets that will have high clarity, being able to look into the apex is amazing. Great video yet again mate!
If you already enjoy the VR triples will be like a game for you I guess 😁
The 3D world is just different dimension 💪
Agree 100% I have had both and went back for the same reasons you stated. You hit the nail on the head.
Having both is the best way 😃
I jump from time to time in VR now and I can truly enjoy the experience 😁
It took 15-20 minutes a day for about a week to get over my VR sickness now I can have 8 hour sessions without issue. Still close my eyes during a spin out as going backwards in VR makes my stomach lurch lol
I’m still turning my head the opposite side just before heat the walls 😂😂😂
Wen I jump in VR first time I’ve said to myself if I’m going to be last in every race I will still use VR and I don’t care 😂
This is magic world and it felt at the time like a crazy dream become true 😃
Big hug Bro 🤗
From the first minute I put on a VR headset I loved the sensation of movement. I wonder what makes people different in that respect?
Just do both, VR and triples, it's what we all love anyway :) .. also best sim racing channel in the known universe!
That the best way man 😁 having both words it gives me the full pleasure of every choice 💪
Big hug buddy
Awesome video as usual! At what distance from your eyes is your center screen positioned at?
Thx buddy! My monitor is 70cm from my eye but I add in every sim 530mm distance which creates more natural depth of the environment 🤛
Really good points there buddy 🤛
I don’t sweat More in vr than With Monitors 😅 only the Face gets warmer offcurse
I'm the same way. I've been VR endurance racing for about 15months and I love it. You can't beat the immersion and I find it easier to put the tyre exactly where I want versus guessing on a flat screen
Adding a wind sim kit was a huge upgrade to keeping cool in vr as well as add another layer of immersion for me. Highly recommend
@@sincity_steve do you use a particular brand or is it a DIY setup a la sim hub

Be interesting to
Know your point of view 12 months later as there new headsets out and new graphics cards out too! 😊
I really liked that science explanation lol
😁
As a scientist/engineer, learning about neuroscience with regards to a fun sport makes retention of information much more intuitive.
Since a couple of days I use the Varjo Aero. Truly unbelievable experience, insane!!
That must be amazing indeed 😃
Thank you so much for that post man 🤛
As a VR user and a person who sweats a lot in general - I tend to have a bit different experience in that regard.
Thanx for sharing your experience buddy ❤️
@@chepilevski very true! (Also, perhaps a 41 year old GT-car disguised as a race car is the equivalent of a few ms of latency ;) )
VR helps me get my daily dose of F1 and GT-Racing. Fortunately I usually don’t get motionsickness. Next I’ll get a full motion platform hopefully motionsickness will be a thing of the past?
VR and full motion can teleport you in different dimension indeed 😃 and it helps a lot with the motion sickness 🤛
1. your content is absolutely mind blowing and as someone who makes video content I have to say you're one of the ones who inspire me.
Thx buddy 🤗
I’m still blown away every time I jump in car with VR and I truly love that feeling of being in the car but also enjoy the rig on triple 😃
They both have advantages and disadvantages.
Thx for the support brother 🤛
I have all that and VR, memory helps me with buttons, nothing is more immersive than the display in VR.
Thanks for the kind words buddy 🤗
I feel like I've been tricked into learning and it's a good feeling. Thank you.
First time with VR was one of my most incredible experiences in my life!
I do those walks too buddy 😁
Great work, superb video as always. But you just confused me more than ever. I am on VR right now for lack of space, but it is evident that I need a Triple setup also. My wife is not happy with you.
😁
Tell you wife she need a happy husband 😁
Tell her family is like a car and the man in the family is the engine and engine with bad fuel it doesn’t work well but if you put some boost in the fuel it flys and makes everyone happy around 😁
Great explained buddy!
It's just like when you are on a big boat, with the difference that we feel the motion, but the eyes detect no movement. I was açtually motion sick for 15 hours after my first try in VR.. But it was too good, so I kept going back every day for 14 days.😅
After that I've never been motion sick.🎉😃👌
I've gotten both faster, safer and more competitive one track since I got VR do to like you say, depth perception, spatial awareness and how natural it feels to drive in VR.💪😍👌
That was great comparison with the boat buddy 😃
I use to travel with big ships for 12-16 hours trips wen I live in island and ones I travel in crazy storm and got sick for few minutes and now I understand why 🤭😁😁
As I’ve told you many times , for me VR is a dream
i enjoy racing in vr but i recently changed to triple 4k 65" 144hz mini led panels similar to wills from boosted media with sigma intergrale dk2 motion kit on a trakracer tr8 pro chassis. the fov on triple 65'' is crazy.
My first VR experience in a racing game was the nordschleife, what I noticed immediately is that I tried to keep my head still. It took a few turns before I actually started moving my head.
Yeh , it is monitors habit but quickly become natural movement 😃
I know exactly what you are talking about Paul 😃
I feel in the exact same way !
For me having both worlds now is like a dream! I found myself using mostly the triples and joining VR from time to time is just brutal experience 😃
I'm on the opposite spectrum. I can't get it wild enough. the more crazy motion I can get in VR the better. although I am on the RTX 4090 and Quest 3. VR headset. it's much better than the triple monitor. even the input latency is as good as on a monitor setup. also with the Quest 3 passthrough overlay you can interact with your Sim environment as it becomes visible when you put your hands toward the object with a program called Reality Mixer.
excellent video. i just switched over to VR and it's amazing!! better than 3 monitors in my opinion
A fantastic video. Love the enthusiasm as always...keep it up boss!
Thx Zak 🤛
Happy you enjoyed it buddy
Not only VR destroys 3ple monitors setups, but also brings you the realistic experience of wearing a helmet in the race.
Real Pilots had to deal with that and the heat involved is so much worse in real life than in VR simulations jejejej
That is subjective topic and many will disagree with you and that absolutely fine !that being said, I personally agree 100% with everything you’ve said 🍻
F1 drivers can lose up to 3 liters of sweat per race.
Haha much love brother 😁
Having both choices is the optimal for sure and I hope you will have the triples soon buddy 💨
You persuaded me to give VR another try. Thanks.
Driving the Nurburgring for 90 minutes without wrecking seems impossible to me. One day…
It is fun bro 😃 I hope you enjoy it 🤛
Amazing content as always!!
Thx buddy 🤛
Great content as always 👊 so I'm new to vr been using triples for some time. I set up Acc in vr jumped into a practice session with the lamo after a few laps pulled into the pits & was completely blown away when the pit crew were running around in front of me changing tyre's. For me it felt so real sticking with vr 😍
It is a different world and ACC have so great details! I love going around the car 😁
i know that feeling... and with a few Tewaks ACC looks fine in VR. I luv it too!
And, yes, I've had online gaming friends from Canada, so I have heard of the unfortunate high prices you guys have to pay for stuff from here.
VR also feels like a helmet, to me the only con is the sweat.
Love the content mate, keep it up!
That’s how it feels to me to buddy 🤛
This was a nicely balanced discussion. I enjoyed this👍🏻
i started sim racing because i bought an oculus, over the years i got tired of the quality of life issues with VR, i transitioned to an ultrawide then to triples, ended up back on the ultrawide for reasons, i am glad i gave up VR though as i am much happier on screens, i now have a single 43" 4k monitor and love the extra vertical screen size
I do not see the VR you used on your list. Can you provide the one you used?
Oh , I just realized that 🤭
It is the Valve Index buddy
Thx for the reminder 🤛
nice video! first time i saw it actually.
It is mostly about background work VR tech had to do to bring the picture smoothly!
It is like V-Sync on on standard monitor🤛
Have you already tried the Varjo Aero HMD? Really would like to know how much clearer the Image qualitiy is und the response rate due to 200hz it can offer
Sorry. Did not read the comments below. Same question twice
I will try to get one in my hands buddy 😃
Thx Buddy. I really like your Stuff. Keep going 💪🏽
@@speedexperience1011 thx bro 🤛😃
Another great video brother…and a nice science lesson as well👍
Thx brother 🤗 happy you enjoyed it 😃
Great video, I'm celebrating 💪 I think you have to try vr for sure
🤛
Hey Steylian
Thanks for the quality video as always.
@@chepilevski thanks for the taking the time out to respond. I guess I will hold off for a bit and see what new technology is released for VR
Having both worlds is a blast 😁
Which vr headset you tried? Nowdays there a few really Sharp Headsets aviable.
im so hyped for gt 7 and i hope psvr 2 come out soon after or end of this year.
i love vr games
VR is the future for me 😃
Thanks very informative video.
Good point bro , thx 🤛
You can use Windows with software in VR but you will still need to fire one monitor to start the the VR software and connect !
I used my setup here with small monitor for few years !
So what about Triples with Track IR for example. ? Best of both ? Tracks head movement like VR
i started VR this week… i had no clue how amazing it was… fully immersed i honestly do feel like I’m actually in the car
That’s the biggest part of the VR world man, we are in the car 💪😁
Hey just wana say I’m a big you and boosted media have inspired to go full on into the Iracing actually busy getting my setup hopefully ready soon 👌
Some great times are coming your way bro 😃
@@chepilevski I can not wait bro I’ve been using the Logitech G920 and playing forza 7 after this last view months of watching the iracing got me hooked going fanatec and Vr Hp gen 2 🙏u really inspired me as well
As a VR User for a few years now - this was another fantastic video, RBM - and I definitely agree that VR is not for everyone.....
But could i ask you about the footage from 5;15 pleas. Is this 'stock" footage from one of those common websites - or is this a VR program that I have personally never seen before?
Cheers RBM. [:]-)
Thx buddy 🤛
That’s just footage with high resolution camera walking in rain conditions mate 😃
Great video :)
I race on A curved monitor myself & VR :) & Both are great in their own way :)
But there is just something special, with being "in" the car 🤩🤩
I feel exactly like you but if for some reason I have only one choice for the rest of my life I will give up all I build around my cockpit and take the VR 😃 that’s just how I personally feel about the virtual world 😃
I love VR and I think it will be much better in future. High resolution in VR makes a difference. We are still far away from "retina" resolution in headsets. Micro OLED will also improve immersion during night time racing. And hopefully we will get much vider field of view in future as well.
I’m so excited for the future of this tech man 😃 It is dream become true for me 😃
