Thank you so much and God bless you a million times for posting this great and rare video footage. I saw GNR eleven months earlier with Skid Row and three months after this at the Pasadena Rose Bowl with Metallica. With God as my witness, I want to go back really bad and relive those two concerts as well other concerts during their UYI era that I did not go to, including Faith No More which I have never seen in concert ever. The "Angel Dust" era was really heavy. The 1991 to 1992 time period for rock and heavy metal has a uniqueness that to this day is still very difficult to pin point. GNR and Metallica were the center of it somehow.
I totally agree. It is my favorite era I think for it! 'The 1991 to 1992 time period for rock and heavy metal has a uniqueness that to this day is still very difficult to pin point. GNR and Metallica were the center of it somehow.' I don't know if it is because the music you listen to at a young stage in your life makes and imprint on your mind or connects with it better than at any other age or what. Because I was very young then. Or it could be as simple as it was just great music during that time, lol. It's also really cool hearing everyone sing the words to Civil War with them here.
Faith no more was traveling with Guns on the Use Ilusion tour, Axl had a bit of a mess in his head and together with the band he started taking a fortune teller to predict whether an incident would occur in any city where Guns would perform, so this guesser told axl to cancel all shows in all cities that started with "M" so axl canceled Madrid, Milan and so on. Marc Paton started spreading this to everyone, axl got pissed and took away faith in more from the tour. Guess what happened? Axl didn't cancel the show in Montreal, that's where the biggest incident occurred where there were deaths and destruction of the stage. As a Brazilian, Guns Roses' number 1 fan, I also started to enjoy faith no more this time.
I was st Columbia south Carolina at William Bryce stadium. Faith no more was one of the worst bands I've ever seen. Metallica rocked.the house for 2 1/2 hours and guns came on 1 hour and forty minutes sfter metallica. Show got over around 2am. I was there for guns. I became huge metallica FSN but guns is still favorite of all time.
I wonder what made you you hate FNM. They are one of the most influential bands in alternative metal. You need to reevaluate them, Mike Patton is one of the greatest vocalists of all time.
@@maxwellmims3495 mmm ok. I can see where you are coming from. They were actively trying to undermine the tour to mess with GnR. The reason they went is because they got to play with Metallica.
I was there.....31 years ago.... crazy pogoooo
Grandissimo concerto...soundgarden. ...FAITH NO MORE e guns n roses....a torino ero presente...che ricordi
Faith no more❤❤❤❤

Saw this concert in June '92 (15 yrs old) at Giants Stadium in New Jersey. Still the best concert i ever went to....
this isn't the Giants Stadium one but we have video recordings of that too
I was there in Berlin 26 of May. My Favorite Bands of his Decade....

I was there ... fantastic
Damn Patton sounds perfect here
the last time in santiago .... last reunited 2011 soso .... best performance of Mike ..... incredible
Is Mike Patton the greatest rock vocalist ever? Watch this video. Dude kills it.
The answer to your question is the lead singer from a little known band who opened this show before FNM went on to the stage.
He DEFINITELY is.👍👍👍👍
The Best
Oddly enough, yes, and the worst vocalist of all time was also in FNM; Chuck Mosely!
@@TerribleEnglishnoo.he was good.mike is my favourite vocalist ever, but they where good before him too
Estou aqui!! Quase 2024 curtindo o show!!!
Imagine being so huge you have a better band opening for you.

They were not good live in 1992. That's all I'm saying
