First and foremost I love ur channel!!! I'm new to Mustang, I want the 600 turbo but idk what mods should I do first, all I have is a roush cold air intake right now @@FunctionFactoryPerformance
Im on a stock block, but I have all supporting mods to support either turbo. Which one should I go with? Im leaning more towards the BNR only because I love the sound of it
I’d love a comparison between the NX2 and the BNR 525. Is the price difference worth it to get the 525 vs the NX2? What’s the quality difference? How far can you push the nx2 and the BNR 525 on pump gas? I’d love to see you talk about a mild to medium build for 400-450hp on a stock block ecoboost with an NX2 and or BNR 525.
The BNR makes more power but the NX2 spools twice as quick. NX2 is max quality with the BNR being more on the economical side. ALL tunes will be stopped around 430 WHP regardless of the turbo. That is as much as we're willing to tune the stock block to.
First of all I love your videos….Should I upgrade the stock turbo (intercooler, tune etc) if I am only daily driving? Sometimes some spirited driving……appreciate your time👍🙏🎸
@@TravisWhiteTribe thank you! It’s best to start with the intercooler, Chargepipes, BOV, then tune / tuner. I ran the NX2 on stock block forever but I do not recommend the 600 on stock block.
Hello I’m new to this channel, I’d just want your insight as an expert I have a ‘22 mustang Ecoboost with 77k miles ( daily car ) so far I just have muffler delete and k&n drop in filter Would the nx2 be more practical while still having the max power I can put out ? How much whp would I approximately be putting down ? How reliable is it ? Which one would be the better drop in turbo ? I hope to hear back from you !
@@nboy7 no idea, we’ve been complaining about it for almost 9 years lol No, this turbo will NOT work on stock ECU map unless you’d like the rod to meet god himself
Is there anywhere you can send me so I can learn about modding before I start modding my Mustang I wanna put one of these turbos in but I don’t wanna be clueless after ordering them
I got a question. I’ve noticed with my smaller turbo. I can use launch control with the access port. And I was able to launch it at 3500 if I wanted to, and it would build 10 pounds of boost to launch out of the hole with the BNR I’m not able to get any boost and my RPMs won’t even go up to 3000 it will barely make it to 2500 and stay at limiter there and build no boost is this because of how big the turbo is is there something wrong with my car thanks guys
finally a new ecoboost video
Another one next week!
Always good to see you guys still active on the 2.3 ecoboost platform. Great video as always.
I still daily the car!
Who the people have been waiting for🤘🏽
A new video is going up tomorrow!
About time 🎉
We’ll do another one next week
525 vs Nx2 would be a great video especially for people on stock block.
I fully agree.

@@FunctionFactoryPerformancecan I still slap the 600 though? Why the 525 ? What’s the difference?
@@LuisSanchez-vu6uv bigger turbo is laggier, you can’t take advantage of the top end power of the 600 without a built engine

Getting the new tires on today to get the dyno!
@@FunctionFactoryPerformanceexcited to see what you guys get out of it! Also, is that nx2 anodized or powder coated or what?
@@stephenwhite5444 it was powdered
Would this help prevent over boosting?
So whys the NX2 come with that wastegate spec ? Is it just so it can be a drop in and work with the stock ecu map out the box?

Any updates on nx2 for 2024 Ecoboost ?
Nothing yet :(
Awesome content and curious about the dyno numbers... 😹
Same here, need to find time!
How much did the ems block cost or would it cost looking to get my engine built
This block was a max spec block so I was about 15 to 16 into this engine. Starting price for a short block is around $5100
Anything for the 24s yet?
Nothing :/
Can u use the turbo on a stock ecoboost??

Set the RPM higher
Either way the Cobb is not a real 2 Step and only serves as a temporary rev limiter
@@FunctionFactoryPerformance ok do you have any recommendations on a two step for an auto

Ironic 😩
