    Thank you! Literally spent half the day trying to get it off, two bottle jacks worked right away

      You're welcome, don't feel bad I was in the same boat before I made the video. I couldn't find any information about it so I just had to figure it out myself. Glad you found it helpful

    Tried the jacks behind the hub( 2-4 tons). Didn’t budge. Tried a gear puller from the front (10 tons). Didn’t budge. The Hub Master did the job in 15 minutes. Fantastic time saver.

      Oh wow! I was pretty fortunate and was able to get it to budge pretty easily by putting the pressure on it with the jacks and giving it a few taps with the hammer. Hub master is probably the right tool for the job though.

    Complete sidebar here Sargn't, but there is a good nugget to learn from here. The Hassle in using our tools. Where are they at? Are they maintained by us property? Do we really know how to use them? Now I'm applying this is multiple aspects, physically and spiritually,..should be applicable anywhere though. 😉 Good talk! All glory to our Lord, KING of Kings! ☝️🙌🐑❤️

    Excellent video, thank you! I was thinking that was how it would be changed but without a shop manual I wanted to be sure I didn't have to remove the chain case covers and do anything internally.

    where did you pick up that sprayer thats pretty slick.We make our own penetrating oil from transmission fluid and acetone. Really need a sprayer like that.

    • @FreedomFarmsMo
      @FreedomFarmsMo  Год назад

      They are sure shot cans, you can get them on Amazon. They are made in the USA too. Just fill em with whatever you'd like, then it has a Schrader valve to add air like you would on your cars tires. Works very well. We have two, one for wd40 and one for brake clean. Having heard your idea for penetrating oil with trans fluid and acetone I may buy a third one.

    When a wheel looks like it is leaking oil, the problem is the seal or something else. I have an 873.

    • @FreedomFarmsMo
      @FreedomFarmsMo  10 месяцев назад

      Generally the seal, however the seal could fail due to a bad wheel bearing too. Either way the seal has to be replaced and inspect the bearings while you are there.

      @@FreedomFarmsMo Excuse me, am I again the guy who pulls the seals? Is the bobcat the same hydraulic that the machine uses or is it different and where is the lid to fill it?

    • @FreedomFarmsMo
      @FreedomFarmsMo  9 месяцев назад

      @fredygarcia353 are you talking about the chain case and filling it back up to refill the fluid that leaked out of the wheel seals? If so yes it just takes hydraulic fluid.
