If you want the boxart to work, make the boxart png file the same name as the m3u file, and put it in the same folder where the m3u file is located (not in the Imgs folder) and it should work.
Just tried this and it works. Thanks man you're the best. This is what I'm talking about coming together and sharing our knowledge. Pinning so others can see.
Oh this is excellent. Not only does it answer a question I had, but it shows the game that is the reason I asked. I’m going to jump on the 556. Excellent video!
Bro the reason the box art isnt showing is because you have Parasite Eve in a file within PS, Img does not read past PS I believe and if it does thats why you need the m3u INSIDE of PS and NOT within another folder
@@kuz9988 you can download every single rom type and just drag and drop it into anbernics files except for ps1 and a few n64 games. And even then there’s a mega thread of .chd file ps1 games on the internet that can be dragged and dropped into the Anbernics. If you’re unable to do something so simple just say that but don’t blame Anbernic
No matter what I rename the txt file it always shows as a text document not as a .m3u file. Any ideas? EDIT: For anyone else that can't figure it out you have to turn on "File Name Extensions" This option can be found by opening File Explorer -> View -> File Name Extensions Hope that helps some newbies like myself
@@jerrriell So yeah chd format is slightly smaller 553mb bs 663mb for .pbp format. Its 100 mb difference for some reason but its there. I personally still prefer .pbp just for simplicity and the skipping of creating .m3u and folder setup.

Excellent video!
Love your vids man.. Huge help. I saw your other vid about pbp. Can you also teach us how to create a pbp format. TIA
1- how to get m3u files? 2- my files are .bin and not .chd...
@@Erwan040 u google the game u want then chd at the end and u should find a site that has them
It’s pretty simple just google it.
chdman is the way to convert .cue .bin files to CHD and the M3U Files he teaches how to do them

And where can i download ps1 games for rg35xx??? I searching hours for the websites but cant find any of them...
You obviously weren’t searching for hours because one google search shows like 10 different sites
@@NNegativeCreep yeah and all of them have other data type, so anbernic can't see this games

@@BeardecCanadian haha thank you for this
Is pbp only for PlayStation?
Will this work with Stock OS?
didnt work whatsoever, still just shows up as a folder with multiples files in it
may i know the siize difference between PBP and CHD ? bertween Parasite eve? which takes lesser space?
i have compared PBP and CHD the size of CHD takes lesser, putting the boxart image in the directory works

@@JaviPlayRetro but doesn't .pbp lessen the disc's quality? like worse sound quality?
What if the roms I downloaded only had .bin and .cue files?
You could get them converted to chd. I personally would just delete them and use chd. Make your like easier. You can find a chd archive really easy
@@JaviPlayRetro would you recommend using .chd files or .pbp files on a stock OS for the rg35xx plus?
@@zomgitsgabe1687 use chd for everything. But you can do pbp for Multi-Disk if you like.
