- Installation walkthrough of OEM TRD SKID plate
Required Tools/parts:
TRD skid plate part # PTR60-35240
RCI X beam (SR, SR5, SPORT, LIMITED)
2x bolts - M8 x 1.25cm, 2x M8 washers
Breaker bar
Torque Wrench (recovery bolts torque to 88 ft-lbs, skid bolts 21 ft-lbs)
17mm & 12mm socket
Anti-seize

Great looking plate. I just use my factory one on my 2024 Off-Road since the metal plate is so heavy for me to manipulate as in the 3rd generation. I did install red recovery hooks to offset the factory black skid plate. Bonoboproducts makes nice recovery hooks.
@@Jay-nc7vk good to know. Red adds a good pop. I was thinking of spray painting the skid plate black too but keep the red letters.
Is the skid plate strong enough to use as a jack point? Is that what that indentation in the middle is for?
