Certainly not forgotten about in northern England and Scotland. Leek and potato soup, I make it often. Also vichyssoise is another version with cream 😊

Vous pouvez remplacer la crème d’avoine par de la crème fraiche ou crème de soja ou même de riz ou de coco (rayon bio de supermarchés). Moi je trouve du balsamique blanc en France mais on peut utiliser du noir . C’est juste que la couleur sera moins belle
I am so glad sweet potatoes and Hokkaido Kurbis are becoming more popular in Germany. I grew up in the Midwest and we ate them a lot. Substituting pumpkin (preferably Hokkaido) for sweet potato is a good idea if your local market here in Germany doesn't have them. My tip is to bake your sweet potatoes or pumpkin first and then add it to the soup. You will find the taste to be much more richer and sweet. I love soup! Definitely not a Suppen Kasper! Hahahaha! Yes, I sometimes add vinegar. You don't have to worry, but the soup will not be sour after adding vinegar, the vinegar will only add flavor. I wish you a nice day
It's hard to describe, but vinegar subtly heightens and brightens the flavor without tasting at all like vinegar. If you taste vinegar, you've probably added too much. In the alternative, a few spritzes of Tabasco provide a bit of vinegar and a bit of heat.
Trop d ingrédients pour 1 simple soupe au poireaux.... Je fais suer les poireaux avec du beurre et remplacer pommes de terre par patate douce....c est vite fait et succulent.....
