✔ The super amazing Gareth Evans ✔ Plus the mind blowing camera work ✔ Plus this ancient brutal martial art with hundreds kind of deadly movements called "Pencak Silat" 🇮🇩 ✔ Plus the Pencak Silat masters: 1. Iko Uwais (Rama - also the choreographer of The Raid 1 & 2) 2. Joe Taslim (sergeant Jaka) 3. Yayan Ruhyan (Mad Dog) 4. Cecep A. Rahman (The Assassin - The Raid 2)
I love the amount of work Gareth Evans put into this film while still trying to add his signature fear factor as he did when filming the Insidious Series. 3:37 just goes to show the true horror of the situation when its too late to realize your team is trapped in this building alone to die. Incredible work!
To foreigners: "Kijang 1" is a little local meme, which usually means (unless otherwise indicated) whoever is the next one level up the chain of command.

From the movie's point of view, that epic reveal with the muzzle flash would not have been possible. But from a grounded point of view, the police force just didn't have a suppressor available in their equipment for a shotgun

I didn't know at all but I was watching a lot of the raid clip this week and in the comments everyone said mad dog was the choreographer.

Actually, Joe Taslim is more of a judo guy, his application of Silat us not as intense as Iko's and Yayan's.

Not that i don't like it but the english subtitles made the dialogues sounds more dramatic and overly aggressive sometimes 😂

A really good premise as a game
I would’ve left the sargeant to die on his own his mission not mine

Also why are their shotguns not suppressed?
Even if they were suppressed the gunshot would have alerted the gunmen on the upper floor
