Deep in the heart of Jakarta's slums lies an impenetrable safe house for the world's most dangerous killers and gangsters. Until now, the rundown apartment block has been considered untouchable. Cloaked under the cover of pre-dawn darkness and silence, an elite swat team is tasked with raiding the safe house in order to take down the notorious drug lord that runs it. But when a chance encounter with a spotter blows their cover and news of their assault reaches the drug lord, they find themselves stranded on the 6th floor with no way out. The unit must fight their way through the city's worst to survive their mission.

D'un point de vue cinématographique, même si ce n'est pas réaliste (et the Raid 2 ira encore plus à fond sur le côté Comics), cette scène où les flics deviennent visibles par l'illumination du coup de fusil à pompe, est simplement magistrale.
Dommage que Gareth Evans se soit perdu avec la série Gangs of London, qui tente bien maladroitement de reprendre les codes qui font la force des deux films The Raid.

@@AA_2105 basically the lieutenant (the old guy in white shirt) he was basically a part of the drug lord’s syndicate, something like that thats y he made this operation a discreet ops.
Also why are their shotguns not suppressed?
Even if they were suppressed the gunshot would have alerted the gunmen on the upper floor
From the movie's point of view, that epic reveal with the muzzle flash would not have been possible.
But from a grounded point of view, the police force just didn't have a suppressor available in their equipment for a shotgun
it's probably a breaching shotgun, and shotguns are loud even when suppressed
