Deep in the heart of Jakarta's slums lies an impenetrable safe house for the world's most dangerous killers and gangsters. Until now, the rundown apartment block has been considered untouchable. Cloaked under the cover of pre-dawn darkness and silence, an elite swat team is tasked with raiding the safe house in order to take down the notorious drug lord that runs it. But when a chance encounter with a spotter blows their cover and news of their assault reaches the drug lord, they find themselves stranded on the 6th floor with no way out. The unit must fight their way through the city's worst to survive their mission.

The rare type of movie where heroes are actually smart, competent and make smart decisions, well at least the main characters. Sidekicks don't.
It is incredible to see in this scene how the villains were prepared for any situation that could put them in danger, eliminating most of the police in just a few minutes.
This happen because they get leaked information by the corrupt police.

That awkward moment when a bunch of crooks is skilled almost like those who are suposed to apprehend them. And their teamwork/degree of preparation for similar events is also astonishing. Not that I'm belittling Jaka's squad, but they surely met formidable foes in that building.

@@dichonelawson5218 I just don't think they did a particularly good job dubbing this movie. For some other movies the dub might be okay!
One should always watch a movie/series in it's original voice. Dubbing is generally pretty bad, and takes away from the actors' skills.

I guess the dubs can be kinda questionable, especially when the wording is different in a different video, which I've seen PLENTY of times before 😅😅

Check out the newspaper. The moment he's hit and all eyes are on him, the paper actually betrays the direction of the shooter with a tiny puff of paper.

Oh yeah there's also an actual reason as well that they kept shooting. They were also supposed to disable/destroy the car as well so that they wouldn't be able to escape.
Not just for the kill . They had to make sure the truck wont even move anymore so possibility to survive is none .
In this scene I actually preferred the Indonesian version because of the soundtrack, I like watching both versions from time to time, they need to hurry up with part 3 but I doubt we will ever see that

Until now 2024 the raid is best movie very smart.
In reality, professional SWAT team won't ever do a reckless action without any continous coordination with the base. Moreover in a serious situation like a direct raid to criminal's headquarters, there will no time to reading newspaper.
Does not apply if there are traitors in SWAT members, especially if a leader commits betrayal, if you watch it to the end you will know why they got trapped
The driver tought the raid is gonna be easy work, the villain caught them off guard .
In case you don't know, in the movie the raid is actually an unofficial one. Therefore there is no base, no backup.
