@@Charmane73 I'm a train engineer so I'm off and on them in the shop and in the yard so my iPad Pro with the magic keyboard and Apple Pencil comes in handy but for MacBook has taking over both work and home for me I love my iPad Pro 12.9 2020 but Its not looking good for it right now lol

Wow, this video was a game changer for me! I've used Macs for years but never tried Stacks. Thank you! I use folders, etc. on my desktop for a to do list. Stacks cleaned things up nicely, but it was too restrictive, always pulling and keeping things in line. Then I found Clean Up in the Finder's View menu. It lines things up but still lets me move stuff. Love your channel. You are a breath of fresh air in the tech world!

Mac computers don't come with MS Office. Apple doesn't include Microsoft products with their Macs just like Windows computers don't come with Apple programs. If you want Microsoft Office on your Mac, you'll need to purchase it.
Just got the M1 MacBook Air (8 core, 16GB, 1TB) and this thing is a beast. Had 100 Chrome tab open, was streaming a 4k video, while exporting a 25 minute HD video from Adobe Premiere. Didn't even slow down a bit. Disgusting.
I'm fairly new to MacBook. Can you tell me how to access the Character viewer. I do not want to dedicate a keyboard shortcut. I saw a 2013 video accessing the Character Viewer. The 2013 video OS probably was Mountain Lion.
The were many tips that originate from Sys Prefs......You can make keyboard shortcuts, much like the how text replacement done, that will take you right to Sys Prefs.
Just got mine! I also just got the iVanky dock. Should I be concerned about leaving my mac plugged into the dock for extended periods of time? Like, will it kill the battery (which is awesome btw)?

I see multiple people tell you to disable desktop and documents folder sync by icloud for the same reason. but there is an option to never automatically remove files from your laptop. So that you will keep every file synced but never have to download the files again.
This is my 1st MacBook ever and I have no idea how to do anything so your videos are extremely helpful
