This is a great video. We live in Spain (with our 2-year-old Maltese, Django). Traveling within the EU is very easy, just as you said, however, traveling to the UK (or on UK airlines) is not possible since none of them allow pets on board. Have you ever traveled to the UK with Xanti, and if so, how did you manage it? Thank you!! 🙂

Hii, glad you enjoyed the video! 🐶🥰 Xanti did not travell to the UK (yet). Mainly because of the restrictions on dog travel in cabin. And we refuse to place him in hold. We found a way though, there is a ferry from the Netherlands which allows dogs, in fact they even have dog friendly cabins (the cruise is overnight). 👀🐶 So definitely an adventure Xanti and Yumi have to experience.

We feel the same way about placing our furry son in cargo - many UK airlines (Ryanair, British Airways) do not even allow pets on board. 😑 We live in Spain, and ferry services from various cities sail from northern Spain to the UK. With the ferries, there are also a lot of restrictions (they can't travel with you, for one, and at least the ones in Spain require that one travel with their own car to bring a pet - no foot, bicycle, or motorcycle passengers with pets). It's challenging to get to the UK with pets, for sure. Luckily, there are a lot of other European countries that are super pet-friendly and beautiful. To date, the most pet-friendly country we've encountered is, France.

It’s all good now, the beginnings are usually hard. Maltese like to be in the centre of attention. But they love each other so much now. 🥰🥰🥰🐶
