My little shih tzu left me after 18 years and 24 days. He was blind for about 5 years. I got him as soon as his little mama weaned him. I miss him so much. I know he is waiting for me in Glory.

My shitzu fetches toys And brings them back to even a nearly empty bottle of milk a bone anything you throw she brings it back to me...such a clever little girl...and Soo beautiful...
That is very sad and I got a shit Tzu that was living with a German Shepherd and he looks like he has been abused he was so scared when I got him his face and teeth everything looks like he's been in a cage or hurt I love him he is 6 years old and I will take care of him until the day we both die and give him all the love that he deserves always.
My little boy is so much fun and I have videos outfits, he carries his big bed around the house with his toys inside it so funny and lots of love for him best food. The lady just gave him to me and never looked back or even asked about him and that was in October, he follows me everywhere and brings his big bed into my room and then gets into my bed. I adopted a puppy mill momma,she was a mess. It was obvious she spent most of her life in a cage, she's not as cuddle as most. But I understand, she's 12 and I will love and protect her for the rest of her life.
My previous shih tzu Izzy was attacked by a German shepherd and sadly did not make it, as she lay dying (after the had given her painkillers to ease her suffering) she gave me the most beautiful look of love and sadness. She knew she was dying I could tell, but she knew that I was there and that I loved her. I’ll never forget when they lead be back into the room and just hearing a loud wailing noise when I saw that she wasn’t breathing and her tail wasn’t wagging. I wasn’t until my mom got there and calmed me a little did I realize that the wailing was coming from me. I had her cremated and brought her back home with her favorite toy where she should be. I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for her I got her at my lowest and she left me way too early but she helped me get to a better place. She will always be missed & will be buried with me the day I’m time comes. R.I.P Izzy.
I'm sorry for your lost also, I have lost 2 of my dogs from Cancer. My Jack Russell was 13yrs. Old and passed from lymphoma, my Lhasa apso was 14yrs. Old and he had spindle cell cancer I nursed him for 9 months with the veterinarians help and he didn't suffer the Veterinarian told me the signs of his health was very near. So they came to my home and with his bed I kissed him and they took him to the hospital and gave him whipped cream and kisses before they stopped his heart. I asked for a private cremation and they put him in a wood container of the tree of life, so I have both of my Fur babies in a glass cabinet with Angel's all around them and the Rainbow bridge poem and they also did cast of his paws so now it has been 2yrs. and now I have a 6yr. old Shih Tzu that I will love until the day we pass away together. God bless all animals and with all my heart. ❤️🐕
I'm Soo sorry for your loss...That's Soo sad...yes you have to watch the big dogs they think a shitzu is a live toy...a friends dog got attacked by a big dog las week..the dog jumped the fence and bit the dogs legs in two places...lucky his dogs survived...
These traits are NOT specific to a Shih Tzu. I have one Shih Tzu and one Cavalier. Both have the exact same temperaments and behaviors. In fact I would say Cavaliers are much more of velcro dogs and Shih Tzus (I have had quite a few of each) are very independent and, therefore ,stubborn.
im watching this video with both of my kids ....shitzus mylo and dutchess and they wanna know whats a dog lol they are humans so they just dont understand why she keeps saying the D word lol
My little shih tzu are super attached to me. They both will nap next to me throughout the day. They sleep with me at night, one on each side curled up into a little ball, though sometimes they like to sleep belly up too. But my favorite is when little girl comes to me when it’s close to bedtime. She comes and wants to curl up in my lap to sleep until bedtime. Without fail, every night, she’s on my lap waiting for us to go to bed. And in the morning she crawls up on my stomach to watch me until I’m awake. Once she knows I’m just fake sleeping to mess with her, she pounces up to my chest and smothers me with kisses. Every single morning. And randomly at some point in the morning, she wants ‘FaceTime’, which is when she “grooms” me. She also loves to “groom” my hands and feet when she can. One of the most precious things my little girl does is she will bring me her toy, but she wants me to hold it while she plays with it or chews on it. She also will bring her toy to me and drop it on the floor by her feet because she wants me to put it on the sofa so she can jump up to play with it. And my absolute favorite thing she does is jump up on my chest randomly throughout the day just to give me a kiss and then runs off to do whatever she was doing before. Just the spontaneous “gotta give mama a kiss” and then back to playing. It’s the sweetest thing and makes me laugh every time. 🥰
@@thecagdot ☺️Thank you!! I’ve raised them since they were ten weeks old. I’m medically retired and somewhat home bound (but fully mobile) so we are together pretty much 24/7. They’re my favorite “people” in the world (mom is immediately after them! 🤣) and they make me laugh every single day. They’re completely spoiled rotten, but healthy, happy and very well socialized. I wouldn’t have it any other way!

My Shitzu was attacked by a Weimaraner dog that was not on a leash in the park. I picked my doggy up and the dog chewed on my arm. I got 5 punctures. Scariest thing that ever happened to me.
