We lost our Maltese a few weeks ago. I feel absolutely lost with him. He was my best friend and loyal companion for 10.5 years, and that was not long enough. 💔
I totally understand your pain. I lost my Apple in April. Everyone is different and every Maltese is irreplaceable but getting another Maltese has helped me so much. They remind you of the good times and just having the love of a dog around is very healing when you’re grieving. ♥️
My family had several Malteses and we even imported our original ones from Korea when we moved to America. The last one raised in Korea just died last year and she was named ‘밍크’ or just Mink in English. Before she died at the amazing age of 18 she brought so many memories in my early childhood, and I remember her being different from other Maltese by being so reserved and gentle to me, and despite the habits of their breed she almost never barked unless it was a large dog approaching her. Her mother named ‘나리’ or Nari was also amazing and undoubtedly the most intelligent (which caused some issues) and was strong until the end where she died peacefully at the age of 22. They’re an awesome breed but their characters can be extremely inconsistent so be careful since Mink’s father named Judy was aggressive and would bite anyone except my grandfather, and the newest Maltese we have just named Mink II is the complete opposite of the previous Mink by being more energetic and obnoxious.
I have an 8 month old Maltese and he is very cautious, cowardly and nervous and not very confident. We went on a walk today and he got scared of a palm tree blowing in the wind. I wish he had more confidence. He is house broken and knows 11 commands/tricks which is cool but the confidence can use some encouragement.
Awe! My Maltese got very confident by being socialized a lot at doggie daycare early on. Now that she has a stay at home dog dad, she is just the sweetest and super exited to see other dogs and people when we are out.
Same! My little guy will be 4 in March and he’d rather sit home and watch tv or something. He likes to go for car rides but he clearly loves being at home more.
Uggg! My Maltese is FULL of energy. He is only one year old so maybe he will settle down some. He does a few of these things. He carries his food around and digs holes! 😊
So this applies to all dogs not specifically Maltese and in fact the Maltese is less likely to do some of these habits. This channel is just clickbait.
I had a Maltese for almost 14 years she never ever beat me never ever been anyone else she never showed aggression and when her lips quivered that’s when she would show teeth but not an aggressive way my diamond was absolutely perfect she never did anything destroyed anything. When dogs misbehave or have aggressions I believe that it is mostly on the humans parts they just don’t know how to train them or they’re doing something to trigger that because I have nothing bad to say about my little DIAMOND other than I miss her very much she died of cancer at age 3 1/2
Yep got a Maltese myself, he is such a sweetheart. ❤ He never show any agression i doubt he even knows what that is. It's the fault of the human if they do not the dog!!
my maltese wasvs pure rescue . when we 1st met I was told he was scared & hated everyone I quietly pickef him up and whispered in his ear. he loved me & only me, which was ok as I am single/no kids. I had to keep him away from guests.
My dog digs to catch the reticulation spouts, she killed one of them, then proudly bought it to my husband to fix. She also digs to catch lizards, snails and slugs…then eats them. Yuk
My Maltese doesn't do any of those things either. He's a real sweetheart. Our precious little Boo.❤
They are lil angels on earth! I love my lil baby SO MUCH!

Loved my little girl. The only time she barked is when there was some one at the door. Had her for 13 years, best dog ever.

Interesting my dog barks whenever you run from her, take something from her, lol
My dog stretches his whole body and it's so cuteee
SAMEEE
Same here💫
I don't think this person ever owned a Maltese
Yeah I have a Maltese and she’s very sweet she never does these things but she stretches when I’m near her
@@julianacervantes2061all malteses are different like mine I have a maltese (Male) he does all this except he isn’t aggressively

My dog does this too. Plus I have to keep all plastic bags awY from hum as he loves to eat them or tear them into alot of small pieces.

My Maltese (male) doesn't do any of these things. He is a lazy couch potato. He hates to move and go outside. He's lazy boy.
The Maltese we dog sit is 8 years old and lays down 23 hours a day. Very lazy. Doesn’t want to do anything

I'm so glad your dog never beat you 😂
For fuck sakes. These are not Maltese specific traits. They are traits of all dogs.

My Maltese doesn't have teeth 😅
Thank you but I leave for 8 hours and she’s not aggressive she’s very calm and sweet
Don’t take a dog if you will leave them for hours. Will u leave your 2 years old kid for 8 hours?
I wish I would have seen this video while back I just had to put my little Maltese down in November he would have been 16 years old
My little guy doesn't do any of this however daddy was a jack russell
I taught my Maltese to howl it’s kind of in there instinct like a wolf
Mine does her funny face, she makes face like a grin showing her teeth and gums...not aggressive at all
That's a good dog
2:35 is a Coton de Tuléar, not a Maltese.
My dog digs to catch the reticulation spouts, she killed one of them, then proudly bought it to my husband to fix. She also digs to catch lizards, snails and slugs…then eats them. Yuk
My dog vomited s sometimes
Mine yawarns when l shave him😂😂😂
The only one mine does is stretch. These are most other breeds not maltese
Imagine knowing very little about dog behavior then making a video on it. Please look up other dog behavior videos made by real dog behaviorist.
The person who made this video did it in such a superficial way... Or doesn't have a clue about dogs.
