Great video! Although I wish Microsoft still used plugs for rumble motors (see xbox 360 controller) as it would make life so much easier. I think as far as replacing my thumbsticks with gulikit NS51 TMR modules though, I might just bite the bullet, buy a brand new controller, and pay someone else to do it

Sink on an LB “but responds” FORZA 5 controller White series S controller unresponsive LB SELECT button doesn’t work on one B button doesn’t work on one Rubber caps/joysticks worn on one Bought a kit on Amazon for $11 Has 4 ALPS motors, 4 sticks, 3 torx screwdrivers and a brush To bad it’s $10 a piece for new LB / RB . I emailed Xbox corporate that I was just going to start buying the same color ones I have and return the faulty ones being I’m the little guy and no sweat of their back lol.
If you don’t want to go through that Hassle Do what I DID gets Some alcohol from your local store and pour some inside the buttons that aren’t responsive as your pouring it SPAM CLICK THE BUTTONS UNTIL IT MAKES IT WAY IN THE controller then when you feel it has enough alcohol in the buttons get a blow dryer then aim it towards the buttons that arnt working to Dry it and it should work 💯 % if you have a air compressor it’ll work even better and Faster . The alcohol. Won’t damage the controller in the inside…
None of the buttons work on mine, even the d-pad and LB / RB. Cleaned it all up but still not working. I know the USB port is bent because kids. Can a dodgy USB port cause this even using batteries?
Thanks for the vid, I noticed that one of my black wires on right side had a shitty soldering joint and came off with the lightest pressure. I don’t have any flux but I heated it up enough to make the wire stick back.
Please tell me if I need to do all that! I have a power A controller its like new . All buttons works but ONLY A,B, and Y that dont work! X does wors! Its verry weird

I tried that already and it didn't work, do you have any other fixes? The B button is the only one that is unresponsive on my controller.

I have a similar problem, but the whole controller isn’t responding, I can turn the controller on but that’s it, it’s also only a few months old
