  • Hi everyone please like and subscribe to the page if you love the content! It helps a whole ton!
    I just wanted to hop on and chat a bit about the Liverpool Manager situation and clarify some of the talk that has been going around. I don't think some of us have been thinking about the situation logically and I wanted to share some thoughts!
    Let me know what you guys think about the whole thing!

    It’s mad that some fans are upset with his choice. If it was us we would be so proud of him. We have to be fair to Xabi. He has a long career ahead of him! He will come to LFC Eventually. Just not now

    I'm stunned I could never turn down Liverpool but I understand the pressure of replacing klopp but the dude literally had the pick of the litter but I don't mind him proving himself and coming down the line

      I think it says so much about his character to turn all of us down. Madrid Bayern and Liverpool. Which is something we typically look for at LFC. This makes him an even better fit for our club. We like guys who are loyal and make brave choices. Like you said down the line I think he comes to Anfield.

      To us as fans, we only see the positives based on our desires, but Alonso has a path hes on, hes a smart man. Same smartness that made Klopp tun down United (and Bayern) in the years before he joined LFC.
      Imagine you did well in year 1 at school so they said "join year 5 next year or you're a coward".
      As they say, let him cook, because we don't want food poisoning and he doesn't want his restaurant shut down.

    He hasn't had one full season in the top flight as of yet not does he have CL experience. I think it's the right choice to stay. It could be absolutely the wrong decision to not come to Liverpool or it could be the best decision he takes, but that's his choice. Hes trusting himself to know that his stock will remain high. He's pushing himself to get some Champions league experience. It's a hard decision and I respect his commitment to Leverkusen
    The rest of the people calling him cowards are sensationalists who want the views and the clicks. He's still only 42 he has a long way to go as a manager.

    Richard Keys who made the coward comment just wants LFC fans to turn against each other and Alonso.
    We do not rely on any one player or manager.

      Exactly. And we can’t fall for it! Thats not in our club culture. No one player or manager ever made us ever. And I’m happy for it to stay that way.

    I have to laugh at the media and saying this is a blow to Liverpool. As much as we the fans wanted Alonso was he ever on the owners list? Alonso did the right call something Stevie G didn’t, he left Rangers too soon. I agree with you over Alonso he's made the right choice for him, where he is he can grow as a Manager. Richard Keys and all of the useless media would jump on Alonso if we had a run of losing.

    • @UNCONFORMEDCF
      @UNCONFORMEDCF  2 месяца назад +1

      Great point about Stevie. If he would’ve just stayed one more season got some champions league ball under his belt his future could’ve looked wayyy different. It’s actually a very similar situation

    He has been coached by the he best, comes from a football family and obviously has managerial chops regardless of the season he is having. He is the number 1 young manager in world football right now.

    • @UNCONFORMEDCF
      @UNCONFORMEDCF  2 месяца назад

      I don’t disagree with you on that! but how many times have we seen a young manager on fire get snapped up by a big club only to not do as well as they thought he would, Get sacked and then drift off into obscurity

      @@UNCONFORMEDCF do you really think Michael Edwards would want him if he was not the real deal. Xabi Alonso has arrived as a worldclass manager, he is going nowhere

    • @UNCONFORMEDCF
      @UNCONFORMEDCF  2 месяца назад

      @@MrNiceHk that’s the thing I don’t think Micheal Edwards wants him. I think he lowkey wants Nagelsmann. Edwards n or anyone from Liverpool ever said they even had interest in Xabi not once. It was just the media and us fans dreaming of that reunion. I have a weird feeling we won’t get Amorim or Xabi with recent news of Amorim being more interested in the Barca Job

    Coward? Absolutely and vehemently disagree with that. Xabi made a choice for Xabi. I have no issue with his choice. I wish him all the best. He's only going to develop and be an even better manager.

    Personally, i can see whoever being next not going down well. No one can follow klopp as the fans will always compare and so i think xabi knows that. Let amorim, de zerbi or whoever give it a go first, then xabi can come in and "save the day" so to speak

    • @UNCONFORMEDCF

      I’m thinking the same thing. There will inevitably be a drop off. I’m praying there isn’t. But after coming off a high like this with Klopp, it’s just how it goes with football it’s rare the next guy continues on with the success of the last manager.

    Sanchez Munoz of Girona should be considered. The have sat at the top of La Liga for most of the season, having beaten the big three; RM, AM, and Barca. Girona area tiny team, getting between 10 and 15 thousand spectators to each game. He's built a team out of nothing that was capable of beating the Spanish giants.

      @@UNCONFORMEDCF Yeah, I looked at that. But I don't think Pep is leaving any time soon. City is possibly the best paid managerial job in football. Plus he has a team capable of winning multiple trophies every year.

    An american talking real football is weird. Shouldnt he talking about american sports that have the least consequences. Where you dont have to win. All you have to do is become a franchise. No wonder man united is suffering.

    It will be proved to be a smart decision to stay. Why leave? Lever team also has the champions league spot in the coming season. And Xabi will be their legend because he brings the first Bundesliga title in more than 100 years of club history. Why not enjoy a bit his status there in Germany? He will be tolerated a lot when things go bad in coming season. Take a look of Xavi. He won them a La Liga title and will be kicked out in this summer after some poor games this season. I think he is smart not to go to Liverpool and risk his career with no imperative need to do so.
