Excellent, thank you. Interesting how the jump from 15W to 25W is nearly double and is reflected in changing times. Likewise the jump from 25W to 45W is roughly +50% and thats reflected in the changing times. I'm upgrading from the Tab S2 after 5 years so I'll probably have this one for a long time to. So I'll go with the 25W charger and if I take it overseas I'll get a 45W for the trip. The Tab S2 battery died 2 years ago but still works plugged in. Thanks for putting this together 🙏

There is no reason why this would damage or harm the battery if the tab s7 plus is made compatible for the 45w charger. Just don't always leave it plugged in after it is at 100 and usually try and keep your battery anywhere around the middle and it can increase the longevity of the battery from having it always at full charge or near 0.
@@vsctan7 yes true but that was because people are generally ignorant of the charge protection in software. With the protection features enabled, you won't have a problem with degradation increasing to dangerous levels
I use the 45w charger for my Tab S7 it takes only 1 hour & 10 minutes from 5%-100% with 25w extra 20 minutes longer. Glad have both 25w & 45w mostly 25w for my S10 Lite/Note10+ as the 45w will capped the speed charging once battery reach 80% to p prevent device extreme heat

I really enjoy your videos so far! I have the tablet and the keyboard. And I bought the 45w charger last year with note 10 plus. Loving it so far. Do you use any kind of screen protection, is it needed?
Thanks Hunter, I really appreciate it! I don't use any screen protection right now, a lot of the reviews for the tempered glass ones said they didn't install properly. I think I'll wait it out until my keyboard arrives. Once I see how that protects the front, I'll make a final decision on the screen protector! Hopefully the Gorilla Glass will be strong enough on its own haha
It's cheaper and finishes a charge at almost the same speed, I'd say it's the safe bet! I wouldn't be too concerned about degradation because of all the safeguards that these phone manufacturers put in place, but the 25W is probably the better option for most people. Thanks for watching!
If Samsung is putting 45W in their batteries trust them, they had that fiasco with a phone that charged at 15W, if fast charging had the slightest risk to the batteries they would put that thing down to 5W again like in the stone age, instead of promising 95% battery health after 2 years, like they do nowadays
I bought a 45watt charger and a display cold that tells the watts. It's only charging at 13 watts No matter what I do. It still says " super fast charging". I don't think it's worth getting a 45watt charger if the device is already capped at 13 watts
what are the charging standards at 45W please? Voltage and current? I'm looking at outputs for my various 45+W chargers but obviously they output different p.d. and current.
Hello there 😊🙋♀️ First of all, thank you very much for your video. I really love your in depth Point of view. That is why I have a question and would be very intersted in your opinion. So I would be glad, if you please could answer me 😇🙏 I got my Tab S8 plus for 3 months now and I am really happy with it. I am charging it with my Samsung Galaxy S8 phone charger (which is 15 Watt I think? takes long time to charge). So I wanted to buy me a new charger, preferably 25 Watt. See I want to use my Tablet for as long as I can and dont want to drain my battery. Do you think I am overthinking it and should get the 45 Watt? And Should I keep sticking to the Samsung chargers or could I also take for example Anki Nano II into consideration? Any answer and suggestion is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance and greetings from Germany 😊🤗
Hey there! Thanks for watching and for commenting too, it means a lot! I've had the Tab S8 Ultra for a few months now and I use the Samsung 65W charger for it. The tablet itself only supports 45W charging from the charger but I've noticed no degradation or anything (keep in mind its only a few months old). Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it too much. If you are worried about the battery, change the charging setting to let it charge up to 85% only. That can help extend your battery life! Also, avoid dropping your battery below 20%. So try to keep it between 20%-85%. I would stick to the Samsung chargers because there are certain standards those chargers meet and I'm not sure if the Anki Nano would meet them. Samsung usually has big sales on accessories when they release new phones and tablets, and the S23 series just launched this week so chargers are 50% off from Samsung right now (in Canada at least). Hope that helps!
Will 45 watt charger decrease the battery life of Tab S7+ more than the 15 watt charger? Does 45 watt charger produces more heat in the body of Tab than 15 watt charger? Will battery life for the tab S7+ continue for at least three years if I charge the tab with 45 watt charger?
The nature of fast charging makes it degrade the battery life faster, but for me, the convenience of the fast charging outweighs any degradation to be honest. I don't think it'll be as bad as some people make it out to be. There are plenty of safeguards in place to ensure the longevity of the battery. If you personally need the benefits of fast charging, go for it. Otherwise, the 25W charger works great too! The 15W takes quite a bit longer, but if you charge overnight, you will be fine with that.
@@PepisTechsuit This is untrue, from most of my research, battery degradation occurs due to repeated cycles (the last few % of battery are a lot harder to charge and thus decrease the battery life) and heating. If your tablet is not heating up too much with a faster charger, then you shouldn't worry about battery degradation. To combat the difficulty in charging those last few percent, you can go to device care > battery > charging > Protect Battery, which limits it to 80% thus preserving the battery for a longer livespan
@@2000leonel I agree with your assessment. Everything I've read about battery wear says charge from 20%-30% to 80%-85% to extend battery life. It's way faster than 0%-100% charging and reduces charge cycle battery degradation significantly
