    Lekker om die taal te hoor. I've been to the meteorite didn't know about the echo. Nice video.

      Also only recently learned this. Not that distinct though...probably more of a tourist gimmick than actual echo... i think....

    I’m going to drop in at meteorite and will have to stump up the $250 that’s a hell of a jump. I may just send the boys in with a camera 😂 thank you such good content 👍

      I was very naughty and said I was living and working in CapeTown with my family. It was worth the visit but not at full price 😊 I’m very cheeky. My youngest son wanted to know how I came up with an address so quickly 😂😂.

    Hello from the United States. Another great video! The lesser known towns/site are always fun to learn about. Very good info about the lettering of the roads (ABCD).

    Great to see my town featured. Was born and raised in Grootfontein. It’s a pity the local municipality cares nothing with developing our town.

    Thanks again Nick! Watching from Texas again! Thanks for the road numbering explanation and the town by town amenities..the hardest part of travel in Africa is trusting the info you get online is still actually current. Really enjoy your style.
    Maybe one suggestion - when traveling through an area if you know what wildlife are around that region or what you may see when camping…not game parks necessarily as that is pretty easy to find out. Ex- we were told there were no lions around and found about that they were indeed around in the middle of the night…same with elephants! Thanks

    • @NickfrNamibia
      @NickfrNamibia  Год назад +1

      Ill try and incorporate that for you, can tell you now that it will very rarely happen on campsites in Namibia...Botswana is a different story🦁🤣 Thats's the idea of the channel, information and then for you to see that for yourself, just in case I explain it badly. Glad you get it and appreciate what Im trying to do.

    Thanks for explaining the A,B,C,D road numbering logic. This will definitely help us navigate Namibia next trip. in addition to the A,B,C,D roads I also see some M roads in Namibia. Where are they on your scale? Thanks Nick!

    • @NickfrNamibia
      @NickfrNamibia  Год назад +1

      M is the one that gets me. In know the C24 turns into the M47. So that is an old C road, but Ive seen them elsewhere where I dont think they are up to C quality. Not many of them, but I'll try and find out. You'll also see P roads, which are "Private" farm roads and you can expect locked gates. So dont use them.

    Nick, really enjoy your videos and will be doing similar shortly but not as long! Can I suggest always start your video with a date or time stamp. This will enable people to "see" the time of year. Which as I am sure you are aware is important when deciding to travel or not as the case may be. Thanks and keep up the great work!

    What camera equipment do you use for your videos?

    • @NickfrNamibia
      @NickfrNamibia  Год назад +1

      GoPro's (2x8 and a 10) mostly and I have a Canon M50 MkII. It takes a while to learn all the tricks with the GoPro but you can do a lot with it as long as you understand its limitations. Poor light is probably the biggest.

    • @marschlionoalexander8498

      @@NickfrNamibia Thanks! besides poor lighting, would you recommend a action camera over a standard digital camera? for youtube traveling videos?

    • @NickfrNamibia
      @NickfrNamibia  Год назад +1

      it's so difficult to answer that one...if you take the time and have the patience for a digital camera, id say go that route.
