Then eventually 250 Mercer across from the bottom line above above Swensons icecream..Miss having Miss Grimbles cheese cake at the olive tree. While watching old Chaplin silent movies

      I dated 3 girls at the same time named Elizabeth when I was in hr college.
      I remember when Nana told me I had a call from Elizabeth. I asked which one. She asked "How many Elizabeth's are you dating?" I replied 3, + she retorted "You're crazier than your father."
      G-d. I miss Nana.

      Chin was as paranoid and paid more attention to detail about not getting caught than anyone. I guess that is why it took 30 years to get him sentenced. He was an old man by then.

      In another timeline it was "The Pope of Grenich Village" 100% positive. There is residue. Even this announcer says "Grenich Village" Many of my family members also remember Grenich village as well, including Judith Gambino who I know personally. I vividly remember the VHS movie cover saying "The Pope of GRENICH Village.

    Chicago Outfit would always have whoever screwed up the job killed right away..Even if they weren't caught.The men ordered to kill the Spilotro brothers and the men that were ordered to dispose of the bodies were 2 different crews..Bodies were buried in shallow graves and found by property owner shortly after..Men in charge of disposal were killed.

    On the streets the Genovese family is called The West Side, because Vito Genovese and Chin Gigante came from Greenwich Village.

  • @PontiacS.
    @PontiacS. 4 месяца назад

    I lived in the village and use to see "The Chin" around. One day I asked him if he needed help and he told me to "F*ck Off". He changed from appearing to be suffering from dementia to completely lucid. This was outside the Donut shop at the West side Exit/Entrance to the W4th St. Subway. I didn't know who he was until I saw him in the Newspaper following his arrest.

    I had a friend from Italy I went to college with in Boca Raton. I asked him what did he think about all the Italtian kids descendents of immigrants going to school with us. Here's what he told me; " In the late 1800's all the lowlifes scum of Italy we're driven out and they came to America " . This guy was a very special person. He had a bad case of cerebral palsey. I've met a few very aristocratic Italians unlike the violent crude mouthy thug types who have ruined the good name of the Special people of Italy. It's a Shame. Stupid is everywhere.

      It's a common stereotypical trope for Italians to diss those who emigrated to America seeking a better life that they could never find in Italy, I've heard it a lot, so don't take that at face value...it's bigotry, pure and simple. I'm sorry that your friend had cerebral palsy but that doesn't make him immune from the failings that unfortunately many of us succumb to.
      America was built on it's immigrants and history tells us who is right, built by those fleeing poverty and oppression and which nation enjoys the highest of status in the world.

One of the guys I worked with says " It's the police are you f!@#ing blind" and we turned around and the guy had a walking stick, he was blind...
