Tom, my daughter and I are huge fans. You're tremendously informative and entertaining. We are now subscriber's. Keep doing what you do. You're not a sell out and your knowledge is incomparable. Best of luck.
I'm a grown man. Yet, when I hear the sound effect used with your "sick plugs," I find myself laughing, like, uncontrollably. Also, your, "OMG Totes Cra Hahuh Friends Yay," quote LOLOLOLOLOLOL.
Ok first of all, it's great to see the channel continue to grow, so well deserved. Second of all, who the hell hit the thumbs down button? There's just no pleasing some people! And third of all, I totally agree with you about the Jane Jacobs movie, this should definitely be made. Such an important woman, not just for NYC but for many American cities. Great work again Tom!
Nice one Tom, brilliant weather for a tour I can’t wait to get over in 2022. From this side of the pond here in England (Brexitland 🇪🇺🤭). Tom “I’m rambling, see you all later, sic!
As an Aussie who has been to NYC many times l find your videos absolutely fantastic and entertaining, I'm learning so much l never knew before. Keep up the good work 👍
"it's not crime and punishment" 🤣. Excellent tour, much enjoyed. Your historical knowledge is impressive most especially the reference to Jane Jacobs and architecture. Nice camera work Stewie 🎥
Tom, you are hilarious! Not only we get a lot of information, but some comedy show attached to your great knowledge! 😀 chill out and relax, I will take part of your Patreon soon as I get paid.
Thanks, Tom. As a longtime Village resident, I loved this and learned quite a few new things! This is my first walk with you. I'll look into your others and join you for many more. BTW, Stew is a great cameraman.
Wow! YOU are walking by Westbeth Housing. I used to live there with the composer David Del Tredici who still lives there. Lots of artist live in that building. Now they have a parking spot for bicycles? I used to park my car and motorcycle there. I did NOT know by the way that John Lennon and Yoko Ono lived there! Its NYC! Furthermore, one block north of the Bell Building was the home of Philip Seymour Hoffman. Down the street was the ATM that he used to get the money from the supermarket to feed his drug binge. Very interesting!
Tom, Your video's are very informative. You make taking a tour pleasurable. It's your content that keeps the viewers always coming back for more. I automatically hit the thumbs up button without first viewing the video. 🍎🗽👍🏾👈🏾
Lot of memories of the Bank St area in the 1960's and 70's. HB Studio, the White Horse, the Cookie Bar, Bill Hickey, Uta Hagen, etc. and etc. BTW, John and Yoko owned a number of buildings on and near Bank St.
Loved this vid....I'm a subscriber now. Lots of knowledge, and humor...just one thing though. I understand from bicycle riders: "Bikers" are motorcycle riders. "Cyclists" are people who adamantly declare they ride bicycles, and are NOT bikers! LOL.
I love your tour through the West Village and your historical information. I will watch your previous videos and catch up. I subscribed. Thank you. Commenting 10/24/23.
Thanks 😊 my dude, I'll be coming with my girl friend in Sep 2022. Looking at your videos help us get an fair idea of what is going on. Keep on trucking. Pat and Emma Sydney Australia.
Interesting tidbits I didn't know when living there in the seventies. You showed my old building at 99 Bank, and were right around the corner from where I lived in West Village Houses on West 11th Street.
Awesome video. I liked the part of Jane Jacobs, I learned about her in the Motherless Brooklyn movie. Didn’t know about that home, will have to visit it. Thanks!
Jane Jacobs was a life path 8 woah, just as I wrote this I looked above your head and above the door the number was 555. Why dont YOU write the screenplay on Jane's life? You are fantastic in what you are doing. Thoroughly enjoyed this
Hey, I'm from Leeds in the North of England. Just an observation from this and another video, when you reference GMT you're saying it abbreviates as Greenwich Medium Time, the actual meaning is Greenwich Mean Time. Anyway, really enjoy your vids, I visit once a year and I'm back in 7 weeks (Paddy's day), so I've been checking out when I'm over. So big thumbs up mate. Keep up the good work and you never know I might see you making a video when I'm over. I'll shout you and Phil/Stewie a beer if I do. All the best.
You're a genius, Tom! Brilliant video!!! My favorite location. I love the West Village! Btw. I think there is also a famous sing along piano bar Marie's Crisis (Café) somewhere. (Grove St?). You covered that, I think, in one of your previous videos. Greetings from the EU!
Back in the day: mid 1980s, there was a placed on Hudson called "Cafe Sha Sha," between Christopher & 10th. Actually had an outdoor garden and about 10 different kinds of cheesecake. As always, Tom Delgado, great tour !
When I first came to the u.s this was the neighborhood my aunts stayed at. They loved walking around and explaining the history of the area. Different vibe. People go out and get wine type of place
Tom I just found you but now I’m a fan. I love your videos. You’re so knowledgeable and way fun! By the way, what’s with the hair and beard? You’re so good looking without them. I know I know, it’s the actor in you.
Highly enjoyable video as always Tom. Despite having visited NY a lot over the years I never spent too much time in the west villaage. I think I'll have to address that next time I visit !
Tom, my daughter and I are huge fans. You're tremendously informative and entertaining. We are now subscriber's. Keep doing what you do. You're not a sell out and your knowledge is incomparable. Best of luck.
Not a sellout yet these was like 3 shameless plugs in the beginning of the video lmao
@@yikes710 i don't think you know what a sell out is.

Hi from the UK 🇬🇧 you are a legend! love your tours of NYC, thank you for bringing NYC to the UK during this Pandemic 😷

the knowledge and humor in the first 2 mins alone lets me know this is gonna be good
I'm a grown man. Yet, when I hear the sound effect used with your "sick plugs," I find myself laughing, like, uncontrollably. Also, your, "OMG Totes Cra Hahuh Friends Yay," quote LOLOLOLOLOLOL.
I use to deliver groceries in this neighborhood for 10 years. I made great tips as a teen and in my early 20s.
I love these tours Tom, New York is fascinating!
In my high school and college days I spent a lot of time in these neighborhoods--that was back in the '60s
Thanks for all you do Tom! Since this pandemic hit I've been vicariously living through you.
Good to see the old neighborhood. Lived there for many years.
Thanks Tom. My favorite former neighborhood. Good times, great memories.

Love how, at the end, you put your hand up to shade your eyes instead of simply turning your hat around. Classic.

The gardens at St. Luke’s church were beautiful. Not sure they are still open to the public as they were when I lived on Barrow Street many years ago.

It’s probably been said before but you and your tours remind me of one of my favorite channels Joolz Guides. Keep up the good work!!

Any tour that includes Wallace Shawn has to be a good tour👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Tom, this was my first of your walking tour vids - now I'm planning on watching them all.
Love your videos. Thanks for another quick tour.

I currently live in the west village and this video is awesome
I literally can't believe that's where the term 86 came from. Also crazy Cary Grant lived in such a tiny place.

A wealth of knowledge AND a competent Wallace Shawn impersonation? You're a national treasure Tom!
