I expect this mower will last several seasons with decent care. ruclips.net/user/postUgkx1VWTrayKBdCKAjzAcZ_Eg4dhHTae3LkN also recommend Also, I ran across the problem with it not starting the 2nd time I used it. There is a safety switch which is pushed in by the chute or mulching piece being attached to the deck. I took the cover off and it wouldn't start. Put it back on, no problem. It takes only a minute with 2 easily accessible wingnuts and no tools. This mower starts up first crank each time and it is a joy to use. It also mows in reverse by putting the key to the reverse area after starting and pushing in the triangular button. It will stay in reverse mode until you turn it off. All in all, for my homeowner needs, I really like this mower-and at 70 bucks a cut here in Miami, it's already more than 1/3 paid for itself in a month.
Stan i just wanted to show some love man you and your guys always put in work. Me and my guys love watching you man.! Keep it up broo
I appreciate that. Thank you bro👊
That’s a great way to test the dewalt zero turn and I was quite sunrise to say it was wet and thick and it sounded like it didn’t bog down at all and can’t wait to see the next one. Excellent work and thanks for sharing this with us take care
Edited hope everyone has a nice week
Thanks Stan, appreciate the guy next door approach to your videos. For me, some of it is simply entertaining but I did order a plastic scraper blade today from May Wes based upon your video made there. It is for a 60" plow I made for my Toro ZMaster over 20 years ago. It pushes massive amounts of snow. God bless and keep the videos coming. Go get em. Warren
Glad to help. Thanks Warren.
Thanks for all the work you put into your vids and all this helps a lot, have a great day and night
Glad you like them!
Thanks for the entertainment keep it coming, been watching your oldies your videos have really come around!
Glad you like them!
"This might sound crazy but these videos are relaxing to watch. Thanks for posting." -Tom
This mower looks so cool! Thanks to the review and tests! Keep up the great Work!
You bet! Thier is a part 2 that has a finish mow test and then a FAQ.
The Dewalt commercial mowers seem to be built pretty well but yeah, I am interested in the questions regarding service and parts . Thank you for doing the legwork, Stan!
coming up tomorrow
Great review! You’re the every man we can all relate to. Wish I had your patience
Last time I tried to do something like this with a mower, I gave up after the first lap around and got in the tractor and used the bush hog. You did good today Stan!
Looks like a good machine! looking forward to seeing that next video! As always, Thanks -- Nick
Thanks for watching!
I didn’t hear it bog down at all and I’m impressed awesome video 👍 👍 I didn’t even know de Walt made a lawn mower till I watched this video lol
“Timmy doesn’t have a level lawn!” LOL that made me chuckle
😂👊
I don’t understand how I like your videos so much. I am an IT guy with a small yard. I can do about anything DIY myself but I am certainly not an expert. Maybe it’s the quality craftsmanship and expertise, but regardless- keep it up dude! I look forward to all of your uploads
Thank you sir!
The Dewalt so far sounds good! It did better then I thought it would do with the brush. Can't go wrong with the Dewalt Colors also. Reminds me of my Iowa Hawkeyes. If Home Depot carries this mower I see it blowing the Cub cadet zero turns they also carry out of the water. IMO Cub Cadet and John Deere are well respected Compaines in Lawncare but I like to see new Mowers come out that helps the Lawn Care Community grow and continues to make other companies step up there game.
Thanks for the video Stan. The mower seemed to do well considering what it was going through. I trust your opinion since you were in the driver's seat. I've been seeing an ad on RUclips with a four wheel drive mower. It goes up and down slopes with ease. I'll take notes next time for you. It's pretty cool.
I think I have seen that. its remote controlled right?
@@Dirtmonkey You ride on it. It's very recognizable with it's wider tires in the front and rear. It buzzes right up an overgrown slope. I'll be watching for it.
@@Dirtmonkey ruclips.net/video/QtXnAWQ_b4Q/видео.html
Tim “ these are all good raspberries”
Stan “so mow em over” 😹😹
Stan you just love to beat the snot out of new mowers I think it gives you a big thrill.
Its one of my favorite things to do.
Ha! At 14:25, I could FEEL the annoyance again at the spring theft of the shock-straps from your equipment trailer! (let alone the whole trailer that also vanished)
Thanks! Looking forward to the extra info.
I've been waiting for this video bro!!! Thansk
there is a second part coming with a lot of info
The way Tim said his neighbor would get upset if you went over the property line makes me think there's a story there.
LOL
Never mow your neighbours grass...
@@xplore7359 It's a game first you mow it then you plant it then you build
Stan you did very good job in storage yard
A great bit of kit, different level.
I really like the way the Dewalt mower looks and it seems to function well to. Im curious as to how it will hold up in the long term. great video.
Good question. the long term test will be interesting to see how they do.
Love the videos
Thank you Ian!
NO WAY.....The dewalt I can't wait to see this!
Nice one Stan 👍👍🏴🏴
Top stuff in the rough 👍 Tam.
😂👊 well said
I’m back lol and second I think. That dewalt looks cool. Had a 6 page essay due today so was up all night finishing it lol. Still no word on a job and it’s starting to piss me off. The least they could do is call or email back right?
This week has been a tough one but I always look forward to your videos Stan. Have a great day Stan.
To bad your not closer. I need help. Like 3 guys asap.
@@Dirtmonkey what do you need for operators?
Been debating on which zero turn to get and have had a few recommendations saying to get the Dewalt mower. Two questions I can't seem to get answered is how it does on hills? Is there a max grade it can handle safely or should it not be used for hills? I have seen the BadBoy 747cc tackle my hill with ease, but I wanna know your thoughts on the Dewalt.
Hey D.M. Quick question about the Dewalt you were using, is there a grass catcher option? Thank you, Jay 🦅
Guys, does stanley have a track loader showcase video at all? Or is it just a machine that happens to be working in a video?
I'm planning on buying a used one and want to watch videos and familiarize myself, or look at tips.
Everytime I watch your videos it make me want to start a landscaping business... then I remember I live in arizona 😂
I would like your opinion on the Country Clipper Boss XL with the joy stick. To buy or not to buy? Thanks.
Looks like a pretty solid machine.
seemed to be
I think it’s cool that dewalt can make wonderful battery operated equipment and good gas equipment.
Agreed
Hi Stanley - rough test for sure. I definitely wouldn’t put a new machine through something that rough. :). That’s probably why you have 590K subs, and I have under 4K on my channel. My motto is usually “take it slow. .” .
Great job! Keep up the fun content.
Sum how I got unsubscribed been a while since I watched got a lot to catch up on you guys do good work love the tool test videos keep up the good work guys
I can't wait until the next video 😀
Thats tomorrow
Yay
So far I'm in love sorry but I'm a big DeWalt fan and black and yellow are my favorite colors
Great video. I have all dewalt tools. Not so sure on the mower tho 😬
Great starter mower
Yeah- it was pretty interesting when I heard they came out with a whole fleet of commercial mowers.
Seeing as how you have testing so many things that are electric do you have any plans on testing the new ford electric pickup?
You’re the only one with the balls to do this 😂 thanks for this content!
Glad you liked it
With new engines be sure to let folks know check your oil. They might burn a bit till stuff gets seated. If you check it’s normal heck fire mow on. But I’d might do one oil and filter after a few mows just to be safe.
good point!
Looks great Stan 🇺🇲
Looks good so far ,I watched the discharge coming out spread nice no clumping see how it does on wet grass. .how much horsepower is that one ? I’ll be watching for part 2. .
part 2 is tomorrow. See you then.
Good Morning Stan!!
Good Morning!
We're ready for part 2 lol
tomorrow👍
Rumbling mower sound stylish looking. Resembles bumblebee mower from the transformers
hey stan, i was wondering if you know the best place to get cheaper but still high end enclosed trailers for landscaping, anywhere in the country is fine with me. Thanks.
No sorry- I don't have anyone I know.
Can you change the hydro fluid on it or are they sealed?
Looks like it cut well. Looking fwd to hearing the specs etc from the reps.
coming tomorrow
I bought a house a couple of years ago that didn’t have the grass mowed for five years and I had to mow it four times. I had a massive pile of dead grass, but I did get the house for 10 k so I’m good
That sounds lie a fun lawn to mow
Stan are you still using a dewalt? What are your honest thoughts on it? Do you think it would hold up as intro mower for someone starting a new business?
Not bad for a box store mower, don’t know if I’d do commercial lots with it but it’s definitely good for the homeowner….
agreed. It went through that brush better than I thought.
I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised.
yeah. cool👍
Times are tough when you can't find severely overgrown fields to mow. You need to tell people to send you locations of neglected lawns and fields.
Yeah. Its still real early in our growing season. We still don't have much tall grass.
Seat looks good
It is a nice seat.
A couple good questions would be who actually manufactures it and what are the ratings on it is it a homeowner use only or will they honor commercial use for warranty,,, and have you also seen that bobcat the skid steer company is also making stand on and zero turn mowers as well thanks for great show have a good night
I think its an MTD product.
The Dewalt looks like a Cub Cadet
yes- they look alike
Cub cadet makes the chassis neat design!
I think its an MTD design?
It is mtd owns cub cadet my brother inlaw works for mtd its a chassis version of the cub cadet tank.
How often do your mowers need the blades sharpened?
Stan, would I be able to make a nice tall sand pile with my skid loader? I got sand vegetation and dirt. Using those 3 materials what's the trick to making the pile tall?
drive up on it while making it.
Just using sand I can drive up on it? Thanks for the answer btw! Really appreciate the time you took to do that!
Hey wanted to say how great the tips you offer in your videos. GREAT JOB! Also on a side note my husband wants to know where can you find the hat you wear in most of your videos?
That hat came from Gander mountain awhile back. Ive never seen it since. Thanks for watching the videos👊
@@Dirtmonkey Thanks for replying and a big shout out from Kanda Small Engine Repair here in Kentucky.
Like the pants what are they, love my truewerk t1 and t2 are they better? 🤔
fjall raven g 1000. best pants hands down for me
How many battery packs does it take
Looks like a cub cadet with a couple changes
Oliver ...I was going to say that there is no such thing as "Oliver" anymore ...didn't realize that it was a band Lolz 😂
👍
There is an Oliver, in TN they make fancy fiberglass egg travel trailers.
hey stan would you consider getting a ford 6.7 powerstroke. just curious couse i know youve been burned by those ford diesels
yes i would.
Do you still use the black skid on jobs or is that more just for plowing?
Thats mostly for plowing.
This must be battery. Good video.
I came from your new video on how to hook up and then load a trailer, just about no one I've got on-camera gets it right especially the safety chains. I'm interested to learn more about instances when the safety chains shouldn't be crossed because of how often I see that
Yeah- I like to cross the safety chains but was told that is might not be legal everywhere? I think that should be something people check with their local dot to make sure they get right. In some instances if the chains aren't long enough to birdnest properly they can get stretched and bind in a turn. I think that was one of those things I was warned.
@@Dirtmonkey This is very interesting, sorry I did not mean to repeat myself on this but I really wanted to know more as I've even got one driver with no chains at all. Nothing but the pintle hitch, without a pin in place to secure it.
Crossed chains are mandatory in Minnesota.
Dot that pulled me in NC said crossed chains are mandatory, it helps keep the trailer pulling straight in the event of hitch failure.
Hi I woch your videos everyday tell the team I said hi and I woch thor videos everyday I love you guys I love the video
Thanks for watching! Its always nice to have you with.
@@Dirtmonkeythank you
Seems like every sit down mower cuts the same What I think sets them apart is the support of deal and long-term quality
good point
Amen mate! I always tell people the biggest thing is dealer support. They all do the same job at the end of the day.
need to do a torture test on aftermarket mulching blades.
what would you like to see me do with them?
@@Dirtmonkey mix drinks? LOL! could do a "do i need it or not" for those starting out in lawn care, comparison of blades and of mulching capabilities.
Looks great, I'm looking for a Zero turn mower just not sure what brand to go with.
The next video I answer some of those FAQ's. That might help you.
@@Dirtmonkey I'll keep my eye out for the next video 👍
Hey Stan what zero turn mower is the best and most affordable bang for your buck in your opinion? I am in the market and asking around for peoples thoughts and input. TIA!
Boy- there are a lot of great brands. I think dealer support and service should be your first question. Make sure your comfortable with that and then pick a brand they carry.
Send some Rain up here. Eastern Ontario. We have Not had Rain in a Month.
Yeah- we get it in spurts
I love craftsman and Deadwood. please review Craftsman
Good idea!
So I have seen these at Home Depot and my first impression was high end consumer product not a commercial one.
If you ever have a chance you should run one.
It kinda looks like the Cub Cadet, I went and looked at one. And, it has some stuff the same as the Cub Cadet.
Who makes the motor? What is the horsepower? What is the width on the mower?
54" on this one with a kawaski power plant. i don't recall the exact hp. 26? maybe?
What kinda motor on it?
Interesting, thanks.
What’s it got for an engine ? Specs would help ?
Kawaski
What a cool machine! Stan-da-man!
It is cool👊
I couldn't believe it when you said it was from Dewalt and then I seen the seat and was like o sh*t he wasn't playing. I'm not much of a Dewalt fan anymore. What's the price tag on it???
The prices vary on models and options.
Love your videos! Been watching for quite some time. When will you do a Bad Boy Mower review? I have a ZT Avenger 54" 725cc and love the build of it, the power, and the soft response. Check them out!
I don't have a bad boy mower to do a review on. I will see what I can do.
@@Dirtmonkey I'm in Plover WI, ill let you borrow mine (it's a personal use mower that gets little use). Meet ya half way.
You are indeed super hard on equipment. That thing is just an old cub cadet tank model zero turn mower.
They look alike
Timmy don't have a level lawn, come check mine out lol. Hopefully it will be once I get time to work on it.
Timmies lawn is like a plowed field. so rough.
@@Dirtmonkey then we probably have the same crappy quality of lawns then lol
I know you love testing new machines and Gravely just released there new 600 series mowers. If you were in Ohio I'd love to show you one and drive it around. Top speed of 15 mph and a 38 hp Kawasaki engine.
That would be cool!
my 5 yr old deere runs that spec but with 35hp. 15 mph mowing is amazing when its smooth haha.
@@tgh117 I would imagine that your Deere doesn't have a completely isolated operator platform like the Gravely 600 series.
@@chainsaw_nightrider you would be correct, but you don't really need it with the suspension seat. I mow rough ground and as long as the seat is set for me, no issues.
love it
Thank you!
I normally love your videos and will always watch them cause you're legit, you've paid your do's and take your craft seriously. And Crack me up with comments. But this time you mowed some so-so grass, filmed it and sent it. It's missing something. Maybe put that mower to a real Dirt Monkey test and say how you really feel. If not it's a 15 minute commercial. Idk maybe I'm wrong.
It could be that the camera didn't do it Justice. I've got pictures of tall grass but my phone doesn't make it look as bad. That's just my take.
I appreciate that! This was brushier stuff and since its still early in the season had not colored up yet. but I know what you mean. It was actually snowing on me in the next video.
Machine looks tough, but the ride looks rough..
That ground was super rough.
we need to see more timmy videos
Cool👍😃
Hello how is the day. Today I got lime spindrift.
Coincidence! Thats what i was drinking in this vid👊
I think it might be made by cub cadet for Dewalt. I believe cub cadet and Dewalt are kind of partnering up for some things.
I believe its an MTD machine
@@Dirtmonkey yeah that would make sense.
It looks like a Hustler
same colors
@@Dirtmonkey Im a hybridsumer, of flipping homes. I have noticed so many similarity, i wonder if it even matters anymore?
