Hey, my sistah sisters!!! 🙏🏾✝️🕊️❤️✌🏾
Roxie has been my best friend since 2001, and it's wonderful to experience her transitions and New beginnings. I am so proud and excited for her accomplishments, and for the path that God is directing her towards. ❤️ 🙏🏾
Let it be known to all: Through the Holy Spirit, God has put it on me to preach to those lost in the devil's deceit!
Hear me when I say, ye that are Catholic have been deceived and know not God. Ye worship Mary, praying to her; when God tells his to worship none other than him. It is idolatry.
Catholicism has its own Bible and teachings, which are blasphemous to the word of God: the Holy Bible. As ye follow the teachings of man and not God; ye hear the pope, but not Jesus, yet ye claim to be his disciples!
These are but a few things I named ye dwell within; there are many more. I tell you now to repent of your sins, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and you'll receive the gift of the Holy Spirit upon asking the Father!
There are *NO* sub-divisions of Christianity. You're either a disciple of Christ or not. A Christian is someone who follows God's word, not a religion. Who obey the Father and follow his will; not man's nor their own heart's. Unless you keep Jesus' commandments, think not the Holy Spirit will dwell within you!
They who heed this message and did what was stated with an open heart to God...
Read the Holy Bible (KJV) daily and every time before you read, pray to the Father and ask:
"Lord I ask that you give me understanding of your word, that I interpret it the way you want me to, and none of my own. I ask you in Jesus' name, amen."
Revelation 22:8-9 KJV
8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
Acts 2:38 KJV
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Luke 11:13 KJV
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
John 14:21-24 KJV
21 *He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.*
22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, *If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.*
24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and *the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.*
3 John 1:11 KJV
11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. *He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.*
1 John 3:6-10 KJV
6 *Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.*
7 Little children, let no man deceive you: *he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.*
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9 *Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.*
10 *In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God,* neither he that loveth not his brother.

@@coachcarroll963 this confuses me what’re you really saying
I LOVED this interview with Roxie. She is such a breath of fresh air and someone I feel I relate to. I'm happy that you featured her.
I really wish people would stop trying to downplay her experiences. I'm Catholic and yes I'm black, and American. I really cannot stand it when people try to downplay/discredit my REAL experiences as far as what that means.
Yes, most black AMERICANS are Protestant Christians. And for many of us, this isolates our experiences among our family dynamics and social circles. Protestants can be VERY harsh in their criticism of Catholics. And to go through this with your own family or social circle within the black community is disheartening.
I wish we would stop acting like stating the obvious is wrong. We are all different and that's FINE. Yes the Catholic Church is universal. But your universal experience in life living in Europe will be different than that of someone living in America, China/Asia, Africa, etc. We are culturally different and that's just reality folks. And that's fine, it's beautiful!
I wish people would stop downplaying that. And in particular I'm seeing it done to her narrative specifically. I can FULLY relate to everything she's saying, so it really upsets and annoys me when people who don't act like it's a problem.
I am happy that she is in this space because honestly there isn't anyone as public facing who looks like her, who looks like me, and who is someone I can see as a beautiful example of a black American woman living out loud as a Catholic. I thank you guys so much for featuring her because it MATTERS. ❤️❤️
I agree; it matters a lot. I’m afraid I have also found it true that too many Protestants speak about Catholics in ways that are truly uncharitable, and very much based in ignorance. When I was growing up with two devout parents I noticed that Catholics (at home, in school, in the church parking lot after Mass) seemed never to criticize Protestants nor to complain that their claims about the Church were untrue. They just didn’t “go there”. That was mostly a good thing; however, I started internalizing criticisms of our faith at a pretty young age and sadly began to buy into these negative views from Protestants (and from my textbooks at school, and from Hollywood and the news media, etc). I figured that since I wasn’t hearing any corrective responses from Catholics there must not BE any satisfactory explanations for the Church’s (alleged) failings --and it appears I was one of many who thought that way. It all just seems so sad and unnecessary, and my coming home to the Church and a deeper faith seems miraculous, given where I was for a long time. Anyway, I don’t mean to sound all negative. I am just incredibly glad that the Church has mobilized in recent years to engage with the debate in order to evangelize more effectively. And this channel is a beautiful example of that!! Awesome!!!
Born-again believers are harsh toward clearly false beliefs that are found in the Catholic church very unfortunately. Just that belief that Catholics hold very dear to their hearts that Mary stayed a virgin for all her life and why do they believe it? Just so they can praise and exalt and pray to her asking for help, protection, guidance, healing etc. All these can only be done and asked from God, not some human being.
¡Sister!
*_Viva CRISTO Rey¡_*
AMEN 🙏🏾 ✝️❤️
This is the type of woman a Catholic man needs to Marry, I wish I was 20 years younger and had the opportunity to have met a woman like Roxie.
Great conversation! I relate to Roxie’s story a lot. I’m black, Catholic, and a professional ballet dancer. And being involved in the arts is hard to do while being Catholic. The amount of agendas that are pushed is crazy. It was especially shocking coming from a small ballet school that tried to glorify the Lord. We literally had a bible verse on the wall😅.
@Ashley Hannah Davis - I have so much respect for your integrity and your desire to uphold your faith despite the challenges you must face as someone in the arts. We really need you, Ashley Hannah Davis! And more of you!
Stay strong ❤
👏👏🙏🙏🙏
Becoming Catholic and being from a mixed race family myself, this sister has been a huge encouragement to me and by extension my wife and son. We don’t see many black parishioners at our church and even though the ethnic history of the church (Africa, Syria, Iberia, etc.) and our fathers from those regions are encouraging as well, it’s still difficult to express how edifying it is to see American Black people being active in the Catholic tradition.
Again, saying this as a recent convert from the reformed Baptist tradition.

LOVED this conversation with Roxie! I'm a catholic weightlifter and see hardly ANY catholic commentary on this thing that I so enjoy. So awesome!
I attended a historically African American Franciscan Catholic Church for 13 years and it had a lot of Gospel and sometimes quiet-ish drums, guitar, and horns to accompany the piano/organ music. It was all incredibly beautiful and part of my coming back to the Church. The Novus Ordo has it's place, as does the genius of African American spirituality, in our universal Church.

How can we love and support them? How can we give them the fullness of faith?

I love doing a rosary walk daily. It’s like walking with Jesus and Mary and the saints. Glad to hear someone else enjoys exercising and saying the rosary.
I do that too. Helps me with anxiety and I like doing rosary in car too.
I have young kids and this has been a lifesaver in terms of making time for my rosary and also getting some activity in.
I sometimes felt bad about it as though it wasn’t reverent enough… that I wasn’t praying in silence, eyes closed, kneeling, the like.
But I got over that.
@@kingleary1829 yes. I feel if I do both over time , it’s fine. I won’t let doubts keep me from praying
@@deb9806 my mother who lived to 106 said three rosaries a day. You can imagine how many burdens she carried but she took them to Jesus through Mary, I am learning the same thing.
I also like to walk and pray. I am usually very exhausted and I easily fall asleep when I sit/stand/kneel in one place, so walking helps me a lot in finishing the rosary and clearing the mind.
I pray rosary when I drive too, even though I like listening to radio or music. Aside from using this time for a prayer, I find myself more charitable and calmer when something annoying happens on the road.

A great pleasure to hear Roxie. A Brooklyn girl. I'm a little older and grew up in Brooklyn during the 60's and the dark years of the 70's. Awful liturgy and the rapid emptying of Churches. God bless Roxie, Matt Fradd and all the other youtubers that push back veil of ignorance of the faith.
30:31 I love this! Those were such good points about fitness and how you connected it to TOB.
Great interview! Thanks so much. I have just finished watching it , in four installments :)))) So inspiring!
Great talk. Thank you both. God bless
Roxie! I discovered her channel a few months ago. Great to see this interview!
I love her personality so much! Super excited to check out her stuff!❤
She is lovely! I enjoyed this interview so much. I wish there could be more people like her.
Such a wonderful interview. I followed Roxie by accident one day and love her so much more after listening to this! ❤
Roxie is such a delight! Thanks for having her on!
I just listened to her rosary workout while running three miles and it was such a beautiful experience. Love it!!!!!! I want more of this
I never comment but this was fantastic! Love her joy and passion!
Also Roxie looks so lovely in her veils (in the pics on her channel). Not to be superficial…but she is lovely and expresses her devotion in beautiful ways, I think. ♥
Wow! What a powerful episode, she clearly lights up any room she enters 🤩🙌🏾 great topics discussed and a rich conversation indeed! 💯
GREAT interview. I follow her channel but it's lovely to see even more of her personality and story.
Love Roxie! ! I found her on her first day and she was so great.
Great interview. Roxie is amazing !
What a great interview I love hearing your story 💜I really relate to having a worldly career that was successful was very difficult to leave behind a way of life that worships the flesh bless up sister 💪🏼🙏🏼✝️
I have always been struggling with my weight and my devotion, so I started praying the rosary while doing my walk and jog. Was thinking of starting an entire exercise routine while praying and this pops up on my recommended videos. Thank you so much to both of you! I have subscribed to your channels, roxie and can't wait to try it out for my tomorrow's exercise!
Fr. Chris Alar gave a talk about Yoga and new age etc that I came across recently and he mentioned that if it's just stretching then call it stretching. But if you're engaging in the PRACTICE - it is full blown what Roxie is talking about re: yoga. I felt convicted and completely see it. So, no more yoga for me
Great conversation
❤Roxie … inspirational! -Thank you!!!
Go Roxie ! Love you mind.
Discovered her channel just 2 months ago, and she is already on Pints. Good Job Matt !
Loving this conversation. Most favourite conversations are usually the ones with Father Gregory and Matt Breuinger but Roxie is giving them fierce competition.
Thank you Matt for having Roxie on! I just subscribed to her channel. She seems like such an amazing person and I can't wait to watch all of her videos. (You need to get her to move to Steubenville!) Also I got such an education on Planned Parenthood! How is this not common knowledge?! You gotta have her or someone on all about this. Disagree with Thursday on Jocko...I think he is amazing and would a great guest for Matt.
People think Catholicism isn't considered a "black" church in the US, but they're totally unaware of how many black Catholics there are in Africa, The Caribbean, South America etc.
How many African people in their daily lives talk about American blacks? Never if at all because they don't live here. Roxie is American, just like I am too as a black Catholic woman. And it is absolutely true that in OUR experience in this country Catholic black Americans count for a small number of Christians in the black community. Roxie did a video and I looked it up but the number is only 5% of black Christians are Catholic.
And in a lot of cases you might be a Catholic in a family of Catholic bashing Protestants like I was.
Let's stop trying to discredit this woman and her REAL experiences which speaks for a minority of us who relate to her experience.
@@theblacktradwife I get that, but what I'm saying is that the idea that there aren't a lot of black people in the Catholic Church isn't true. Wasn't even talking about her or her experience, but about what other people told her, that black people weren't Catholic. They just don't know the facts.
Nigeria in particular. Catholic utubers esp.black catholics like Roxie must out of divine duty focus on Nigerian Christian oersecution ! They account for 89% of martyred christians worldwide!!!!!!! Why is no one talking about this ! Christians are the number one religious group persecuted in the world 265 millions of them in 2023 , What's going on in NIGERIA IS A HORROR MOVIE! the media is t✡tally mute on this tragedy !
I'm glad you had her on. Going to be checking her out on RUclips
Beautiful interview, I loved it :)
Roxie, you are a blessing and a delight!🙏
Great discussion! I'm really enthousiast and curious about the mariage of faith and training :)
Love Roxie and her RUclips channel. Such a positive attitude!
This conversation was the best! I can’t stop smiling
Great interview. Recently found you Roxie prior to this interview and I’m glad that your platform is growing-it is God’s calling. 😊 good luck to you. Also Matt try having David L Gray for interview-former Freemason turned Catholic. Interesting story
I know I’m so late to this interview, but I just recently found Roxy’s channel and then I saw Matt had her on so I had to watch it! What a beautiful soul she is ❤
I love this chick! Listened over on podcasts! Great episode, I recently started an official workout journey, so this came out during a perfect time in my life ❤
I’m also from California and I totally get her😅 and the strange looks you get when you wanna walk to a place😂
Awesome!! Love Roxie !
I am in AWE of Rosie's infectious joy!
We also ought never forget that one of our greatest theologians of the Catholic Church St. Augustin was African and, considering the evidence we have of him, was most likely what we would refer these days as someone who was of "mixed race" descent. We also ought not forget that the fact that the first gentile convert in the Bible was none other than an Ethiopian eunuch and therefore should welcome all our black brothers and sisters in the faith as a vital and beautiful part of our collective heritage.
♥️
Was alway thought he was a Berber.
The Catholic faith is growing in Nigeria. We have lots of African brothers and sisters today.
@@LauraBeeDannon Pray and took special fasting for the conversion of europe.
St. Augustine was a Numidian (Berber). Latin speakers of his day would have called him a 'Libyan'. An indigenous North African. The particular culture he lived in was Latinized. I think 'mixed race' is trying to stuff a modern concept onto an ancient person.
Great talk. Sound like Roxie may enjoy SoulCore, core exercises combined with the prayer of the rosary. I love it!
Roxie is just a beautiful person. God bless her!
Just want to say I was very happy when she said she is not going to deny who Jesus is because of ethnicity. Amen to that. Like I am gonna let the devil lie to me about the colour of my skin should make me deny my Lord and Saviour
Some people forget he’s Jewish and looked Jewish. Odd what some Christian’s I’ve met are taught
I agree. I get this a lot too.
Be it known: Through the Holy Spirit, God has put it on me to preach to those lost in the devil's deceit!
@@deb9806 There's a Jewish guy that looks exactly like Jesus here in the US, apart from the fact that he's a liberal [which has nothing to do with his physical appearance whatsoever], his sister -a neutralized US citizen was an IDF soldier, his wife is a lost cause & his name is Moses Hacmon.
@@la.x-neverthedodgers Oh yes, maybe thicker curlier hair and slightly darker skin, but definitely could play him. ; ) Please the very white blue eyed Jesus's always seemed odd to me even as a young adult but then they are just interpretations. I sometimes wonder if he really wanted us to stop Passover and the customs he did. I understand the changes he made in New Testament but he was Jewish and his family until the day he died and came back, forever "King of the Jews" and us. God bless
What a beautiful shirt! :D
Great guest, lovely talk!
I love this episode 😍
So sooooo goood
I lived in LA for 3 years. Roxie described it perfectly. It will burn you out really fast.
That was AWESOME - so nice to see her beautiful diversity 😁
Crazy , I just started following her RUclips channel 2 days ago and now I find her here ! So cool! I’m drawn to her and now finding out she is a dancer and so was I growing up ❤makes sense
Around 1:11:00 Thursday was talking about having 4 parents. I see this affecting my "millenial generation"...having to go to one parents house for Christmas brunch, another one for Christmas Day, a different one for Christmas Eve, and a different one for Christmas Eve day, etc, etc. Pick any major holiday, it's crazy. Because of divorce and remarries there are all these separated family entities and I see many young parents having to rush from one house to the next so as not to hurt any feelings and it ends up making things super stressful and making folks just want to stay home and celebrate with friends or alone, rather than family.
I am a child of divorce. When I had children of my own, I put my foot down and said that we will either do a holiday as a family, together, or we will do it at home alone. Between in laws and my own family, I don't need a split and divided house. It worked in my favor and now it resembles a normal holiday switch off within a marriage.
As children of divorce, we have to put our foot down for the sake of our own children. I hate holidays. Christmas, thanksgiving, easter, july fourth. Never liked any of them. I will not have my children harbor that same anxiety if I can help it.
Yes, my parents ha e been married 52 years, but my hubs parents have 9 marriages between the 2. He was really close to one of his stepmoms and still has a relationship ship with her. It's kinda crazy during holidays.
yay!!!!! I’m so excited to listen to this!
Roxie is lovely. Praise God for her! ❤
Loving this !^_^❤
I love how she is herself ^_^ Lovely person and sense of style ❤ Represent the young adult women in their 30s not married or having kids. Living her best single life 💯🥂❤💕

I'm a fellow Fordham graduate and find it sad to see what happened to that school
Amazing!! ♥️♥️♥️
