I have been thinking about buying so this is just priceless information . Just a "not related comment" have just now also seen your video re "filling in the CA 24 form and have asked an urgent question on that "

    Appreciate you taking the time to do this / keep up the good work - from a family living abroad for 20 years and now considering returning back to Ireland

    Always find your videos very helpful. This is a good idea to put all relevant ideas on a specific topic together. Only thing is that often in these types of videos, they are broken into sections, with links to each section in the description, which you can easily click on to jump to that section.

    Can you please explain the procedure for a non-EU to buy a first house or a second hand property.

    • @terrygorry

      It’s the same procedure as for an Irish person.

    Hi Terry, Im an Irish non resident looking to buy property in Ireland. What is the best way to get a favourable irish mortgage without relocating?

    • @terrygorry
      @terrygorry  Год назад +1

      I have no idea, I'm afraid, contact a mortgage broker and they will be best placed to advise you about financing it

    Hi Terry,
    Looking at a house being sold as a holiday home (cash buyers only). Can this be permanently lived in?

      Depends on planning permission and conditions. Probably "no", however.

    Hi Terry, great videos. I have a question in relation to me being assigned as executor of my mother's will. She hasn't died yet,🤷.. but I agreed to do it and signed in the solicitors office, but now I've changed my mind as I really don't want any involvement at all with anything to do with the will .
    My mother doesn't mind and wants to appoint the solicitor to do it. I'm just wondering how do I have my name removed? Is it straight forward or do I have to apply to the courts like someone said I might? Thanks, my solicitor isn't answering his phone today so I can't get an answer. Cheers again..👍

    • @terrygorry
      @terrygorry  Год назад +1

      The best thing to do is for your mother to make another will naming whoever she wants as executor, and excluding you of course
