I just made an interesting discovery. I just made this delicious sweet potato chocolate pudding and after I scrapped it out into a container I decided to add some homemade date sweetened almond milk to the blender to get the residue out. To my astonishment it tastes like the caramel macchiato coffee I used to get from Starbucks. This is a game changer for me! I put it in the freezer to get it cold like I used to get it. I'm eating a big batch of the cabbage and broccoli stir fry with the potato hasbrown patties. Thank you so much for these recipes. Peace and love to you and the family.
Just had to jump back in to let you know that since I only cook for myself, I took one small baked sweet potato with no skin and put it in a bowl. I added one big teaspoon cocoa and a dash of vanilla. Mashed well with a fork and mixed some more with my spoon. It did not look beautiful like yours, but it was out of this world. Thank you for a great chocolate treat!
Okay, I thought you must be exaggerating about your sweet potato chocolate pudding. But I made it with only 4 ingredients (2 c really great sweet potatoes, 3 T Dutch cocoa, 3/4 c soymilk, 1 t vanilla). It turned out to be beyond delicious! It's not too sweet (sweetened with only really sweet potatoes-not yams, btw!), but was perfect! Thanks!!

Day 3 on my first reset. Keeping it pretty bland this week because I do have tendencies to mindlessly eat and overeat, and so far wow...this truly is helping keep me out of the kitchen. And I love potatoes, so I am good with the monotony. Can't wait to try some of your potato recipes once I feel a little safer in terms of overeating on food...definitely wouldn't be able to leave any of that chocolate pudding on my plate
I just steamed my broccoli, cauliflower, onions, and mushrooms. Had some hummus with it, too, thanks to your recipe. I just put some soy sauce and saracha on it. Yummy.
🦵🏻 I call it my winter coat 😂 I started week 2 today. Still not tired of potatoes although I am missing other foods like fruit, beans and oatmeal. I eat a lot of potatoes. Never had a purple sweet potato. I make air fried zucchini the same way, alot of times I'll do a bunch of frozen veg like that put them in lettuce wraps and dip in whole foods "cheese" sauce, so good

Maybe just a coincidence but I just went for a run and I increased my run time by 40 per km. I'm not a runner and have ran 3 times since having my daughter 7 months ago. I was 10 years old when home alone came out. And 32 years later I still laugh at it. I wish I would have been more informed about wfpb when I started feeding my 6 yr old regular food. It's so hard to get her to eat. She only loves fruit.
I’ve been resistance training since September 2021 and I love it. Lately I have been including a bit extra cardio. At home I usually do a bit of rebounding or step aerobics on one day where I don’t go to the gym. I walk everywhere I can. I am still losing fat whilst building muscle. I’m at my new lowest weight today 🦵💪. Doing THENX legs as I didn’t manage to do it yesterday. Love your vids Ami 🥰

Anytime you take moisture from your foods you increase the calorie density. Dr. Doug Lisle suggests 'wet starches' not drier foods. Dr. Jen Howk calls these type of starches, 'steamy starches' Dr. Doug Lisle has a zillion RUclips videos where he talks about these things.
