Another good tip is to purchase flood insurance. The ones I got for my cars is around 0.2% of insured value which in the event flood happens, is a small amount relative to the tremendous cost it will take to repair flood damaged vehicles.
Top stuff, Adrian. Perhaps good to also educate car owners to opt for flood insurance coverage as that could cover some - if not all - repair costs Next purchase will be an inflatable boat from Decathlon 😅
Your recommendation of changing pdk fluids as early as 15,000 miles is completely unnecessary and misleading. Porsche says newer porsches only need this service at 120,000 miles.
Well, it would depend on may factors. Malaysia has a double whammy effect, it has very hot (varying temperature) and it's also very humid. This causes the oil to degrade faster than usual. I have more than a decade experience in Continental cars & the amount of car gearboxes that give way here is astounding. And mind you, these are 'long life' fluids that dont require a change from the manufacturers. Hence, after seeing many costly gearbox repairs I will take the path of caution and replace the PDK fluid. The cost of replacing a PDK gearbox is no joke especially in Malaysia. As the saying goes, prevention is better than cure.

Haha, indeed bro
Fit a 3 meter high snorkel…job done…
Yup, but dont forget the exhaust. There is no point to install a 3m snorkel whilst your exhaust is only inches away from the ground. 😂
