I do love his confidence!....Important to remember that this is one intersexed persons experience of living a British culture which is a historically western patriarchal society so of course the male experience in every way is going to be preferred. Woman have fought long and hard for equality & yet still in so many areas men are still afforded the passes & pathways in all aspects of society that are tougher or unavailable for women.

Name one society that isn’t patriarchal.

@@dewilew2137 there are a few existing matriarchal cultures around the world but they are primarily within indigenous cultures. To name a few there are the Mosuo culture in Yunnan, South West China - where woman are highly regarded & play a dominant and primary role in leadership, control of property, and social privilege. The Khasis society in northern India - where women inherit ancestral property, children adopt their mother’s surname, & it is women who have complete control over their business. Lastly there's the Minangkabau society in West Sumatra - who are the largest Matriarchal society in the world and it is said to have become matriarchal with the "King Maharajo Dirajo, who established the Koto Batu kingdom, died in the 1300s leaving three baby sons by three wives. His first wife, Puti Indo Jalito, is said to have taken charge of the kingdom, setting the stage for a female-led society.". Like the Khasis society in the Minangkabau society land and family name pass from mother to daughter, although men can hold positions of leadership it is the woman who choose who can take on these roles and they can remove3 them from the position if they wish. Western cultures have a long way to go to create the equality that exists within these indigenous cultures & societies.

You summed it up pretty well. Life is easier as a man. You’re more respected, get better-paying jobs, and don’t have to worry about someone spiking your drink or being catcalled the second you step out the door.

Yeah he’s a narcissist for sure. But I guess this demonstrates why it takes all kinds of people to make our world. If not for his narcissism, likely the intersex community would have less representation and there would be less understanding. I hope he can heal because narcissism is a parasite that eats people alive from the inside, but at least there are some positive impacts.

This person is just sharing their RARE experience. It’s different then when mf wanna get a lesbian and a gay to speak for the whole community. This person is just sharing their experience and very confidently in doing so. For the people that are coming here to attack this person when you had all the ability to click off the video, is very telling.

So nobody should watch a video if they disagree with the protagonist? Should just turn the video off?
What a load of rubbish!! I tried to be fair, but I found him thoroughly unlikeable. Doesn't mean I didn't want to hear his opinions/views or that I would wish him harm.
But hey, if you don't like this comment, you always had the ability to not read it 👍

@@broadwaykiry What irritated me and seemingly a lot of other people was his excessive ego.
Nothing rubbish about him telling his story. What *is* rubbish is the 'If you don't like him, don't watch the video' attitude, especially with your air of arrogance.
Nobody (apart from one bigot troll) is attacking him. Saying you don't like someone is not attacking them.

@@BobMonkeypimp so is it his excessive ego thats rubbish? You say his ego is excessive and im saying this guy is just sharing his experience and you felt compelled to comment on my shit ?

    • @BobMonkeypimp
      @BobMonkeypimp 3 месяца назад

@@broadwaykiry I was quite clear in my initial reply that your attitude of 'If you don't like it, don't watch it' was rubbish.
I explained further that (apart from one bigot), nobody is attacking him. His ego is insufferable and others agreed, but that's not an attack, its an observation.
His story really had the potential to be interesting, which is why I watched until the end of the video.
I would think it obvious that I felt compelled to comment, that is usually the reason someone leaves a comment.

It's weird how Roshaane was acting like this was their channel? As if we are all expected to know who this person is. It was all ego. Everything they said was a boast too, ick.
Didn't vibe with this idea at all, all these subjects are individual opinions of one person. It just seems distasteful to treat them as if this one persons experiences are the same for every man/woman. I'm sure hearing their story could be interesting but this as a concept it feels like poor taste by putting all these experiences into categories based on sex. In the same way 50s jokes about how all women love buying handbags are. This doesn't feel deep.

Around 1.7% of world population [more than 100 million people] are intersex. It’s a taboo topic and lots of people find it difficult to talk about. Parents sometimes decide what gender to raise intersex children and may agree to gender affirming surgery for those who present with both genitalia. There are intersex people who may have internal organs of both genders or organs different from genitalia. These are general comments as each situation is different.
