I'm American, and our cats DO NOT GO OUTSIDE, for this very sort of thing. There are nutters out here that wouldn't think twice about it, and I couldn't forgive myself if it happened to one of them when I wasn't paying attention one day. If there has been any research in this area, I am unaware; but, recently, I've been wondering if psychedelics could help initiate feelings or remorse or guilt in the psychopathic brain. I do not use psychedelics or endorse illegal drug use, but psychedelics are proven to help neuro-synaptic activity and regeneration of the brain in this sense. To strip away the ego and open up a type of self-reflection and spiritual connection in a chemically, scientifically beneficial way leads me to wonder if this type of thing could help.

I was raised in another cult, the Southern Baptist Church. I left organized religion 18 years ago and have been walking my own winding path ever since. There are two separate groups of JW's who occasionally stop by my house and I've always been kind to them because i respected their dedication. Accepted their pamphlets, listened politely etc then threw their literature exactly where it belongs when they were gone. One group has gotten really annoying however, they come by far too often and last time they tried to guilt me into inviting them into my house. I didn't. I'm extremely tired of the intrusion now, and next time they show up i will tell them that i am a witchcraft practitioner and uninterested in their bullshit. I've had ENOUGH.
