A present arrived broken in the mail, a dog crapped all over my drive way, my living room lamp blew up and its super cold out. But with Bob, the problems of the day melt away.
This painting looks very simple, yet has so much depth and distance in it, with lush grass and parting trees. It looks beautiful and serene and tranquil, all the words you would use to describe a soft painting of nature. I loved how the light burst through to the center, and I love the mountains in the back. Everything about this painting just screams out "fresh" and beautiful. The path in the middle wines and Ben's and shows even more death and distance than before. Truly an amazing painting once again :) *_I hope you enjoyed my Happy Little Review~_*
If you know the slightest thing about how evolution works, or have seen "Walking with Cavemen" or "Walking with Beasts" (or ideally both), the ancestors of Homo sapiens sapiens weren't just a Hogwarts experiment on Aladdin's monkey Whatshisname. "We humans" came from a similar ancestor as "monkeys", but that doesn't mean that we're identical clones to them.

This guy was so freaking talented that his preliminary canvas alone with just the grey sky and dark mountain shapes before he did anything else looked totally amazing.
Throughout the whole time he was painting, I had a huge smile on my face and I was in aw from his gorgeous work. Love you and miss you Bob Ross, God bless you always in heaven 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
So while i was painting the grass some green speared across my painting, so instead of starting over i smeared more to make it look like flying grass in the wind. Remember: No mistakes, only happy accidents...
This one seems more fantasy like to me. I guess it's the path disappearing into the bright light coming through the mountains haha. This is a really nice painting though, seems like a great option for beginners too! You still get Bob's signature mountains without having to worry about using a knife to apply snow (which takes a decent amount of practice.)

I remember watching these as a very young kid and now rewatching all these years later, I got "oh yeah" moments when the names of the colors he uses came up and of course when he cleans his brush. It looks like I'll be watching all these episodes again. Lol
