OMG, when you said "this makes me wanna go skating" that's exactly what everyone was doing when this came out and yes they played hell outta the Bee Gees.. Best skating music ever. Every time I hear this brings back those carefree memories.
Back in the day my generation had the best music. Nothing vulgar or calling women names . Just clean family style music. Who wouldnt like to hear a nice love song ?
The "leader" is Barry Gibb, the oldest brother of four. ( The youngest had a solo career as Andy Gibb. ) His hair is darned nice, too! Looks like Barry.
A week of the Bee Gees makes me happy. I grew up with their records playing in the house and my mother was WEAK when it came to Barry (the oldest that you referred to as the lead). 50 years of hits and awards makes a band trash? I think not! They were iconic. It's tragic from the 4 brothers there's only one remaining. There's a great documentary on the Bee Gees on YT if you're interested (not for the channel of course, it's 2 hours long). It's amazing how many icons they influenced, wrote for, played with, and touched. It's called This Is Where I Came In - The Official Story of The Bee Gees. Great reaction and good choice for the reception.
It is so cute how you young people are getting into this WONDERFUL music 🎶🎶🎶🎶 I had this music when it first came out and it's so good hearing you react to it the first time hearing it. I look forward to you and 2 others. Keep it coming on to us.👍🎶👍
Thanks for defending these amazing gentlemen! i grew up in the 70's and i defended them too alot and damn proud of it! dont let anyone stop u from enjoying any music u like!
You were not born in the wrong era. You were born in the right era. Its young people like you who see how real music was back in the day - and you are keeping it ALIVE! Thank you for that! The Bee Gees are a force not to be taken lightly and I’m proud to see young men such as yourself acknowledge that. Thank you and God Bless! Can you please do a reaction to Wedding Day? (For your wedding playlist). Thank you!
In my opinion this is one of the most beautiful love songs that I have ever heard. Barry said that when Saturday night fever was made someone called him and said I need you to make a beautiful love song and boy did they come through.
4:26 I could not agree more with that person! I've been saying that my favorite music is from pre-2000's. Even all the way back to the 1940's.. And this is coming from a 28 year old. (29 in a couple of weeks.)
These guys really fed off each other's talent. I didn't appreciate them enough when I was younger, but as I get old I really have more appreciation for the Faulb
The Bee Gees are the brothers Gibb. The guy with the hair (lead singer in this song) is Barry. The other two are fraternal twins Robin (long hair) and Maurice (pronounce Morris).
To me the 60s-80s was the best music ever. I could not tell you an artist that is of today's time but the music they're my era the 60s through the 80s every time a song comes on I can still know the words and sing it there was no auto-tune or anything like that we didn't do no lip-syncing or anything like that this it was all natural voices no fake crap
The Bee Gees were brothers, which is why they mix so well. When they started in the 60's there were four brothers in the group. They recorded 22 albums, so their well of goodness is deep. :)
Being born in 1960 I've lived in one of the best time frames in music history. I remember very vividly my older brothers and sisters listening to the hits of the 60s and being a teenager in the 70s, I heard and enjoyed all of greats of the 70s. As a 20 something I rocked out to the wonderful songs of the 80s. It's awesome to watch you figure out that even without autotune, the music from back then still makes you want to hear more.
Love that you appreciate good music regardless of when it was made. This song came out over 40 years ago and people have loved it since it came out and will continue to love it.
Agreed. I've literally never heard someone say that the Bee Gees are trash (or anything like it) after they've heard a few songs of theirs. If they still do, they truly have no feel for music. I mean, you have to respect and recognize talent when it's in front of your face, even if it's not to your personal taste.
For all that's holy: YES! Also, I wouldn't mind a Michael Jackson Week. Long time since I heard some of the older songs (I loved the Thriller and Bad time!)
I love this one, too! Barry is the lead singer. The three were brothers. Barry, the oldest, Robin, the one with the reddish hair, and Maurice (pronounced Morris) the other brother. GREAT video! SO glad you like their music, too!
Yes! We did skate to this!! I remember many nights at the rink skating to their songs. Songs from when me spoke to a woman & not at her! I'm just sitting how much you're digging it!! You put a smile on my face today as I watched your week of Bee Gees videos that I really needed 😊😁💕
I was cruising down PCH near Malibu in my new convertible. Had a cute short hair cut that blew perfectly in the wind. It was a beautiful day. I was feeling all of it. Now my car turned out to be a lemon but it was cute. I can feel all of the emotions when I hear this song.
If you want the ultimate in romance, love and emotion, the Righteous Brothers. “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling” and “Unchained Melody”. Blue eyed soul.
Wedding song: Gino Vannelli! Song - Wild Horses. Great dance song. Gino - wicked voice! Also The Wheels of Life. Great love songs. Thanks for your reactions. So enjoyable. 😁👍
I was about five years old when this album came out and I have been absolutely infatuated with the Bee Gees ever since. Even when I go to Las Vegas I go see the tribute band
"Words" "Tragedy" and Barry Gibbs has the better hair of the two, but Steve Perry of Journey had the best - soft, silky and wore it down to his waist in a pony tail at the end of their time together around 1996.
Love their songwriters, voices and harmonies. Listening for 50 years❤
Bee Gees ain't no trash!!! They are one of the biggest musical acts this planet has seen. Full Stop!
I love this song. I love The Bee Gees.
Barry has the best here no competition he is a beautiful man inside and out.

Yes they are a great I'm 58 years old and I still love the Bee Gees

OMG, when you said "this makes me wanna go skating" that's exactly what everyone was doing when this came out and yes they played hell outta the Bee Gees.. Best skating music ever. Every time I hear this brings back those carefree memories.

Barry has the best hair of all time!!!!! They are true artists of the romance songs, so truly talented and gifted
Barry was coiffed beautifully at all times ❤️🌻☮️
BeeGees wrote 100!! Top 10 hits who else can say that?
Back in the day my generation had the best music. Nothing vulgar or calling women names . Just clean family style music. Who wouldnt like to hear a nice love song ?
Congrats to Barry and Linda Gibb, celebrating 50 years of marriage!
The "leader" is Barry Gibb, the oldest brother of four. ( The youngest had a solo career as Andy Gibb. ) His hair is darned nice, too! Looks like Barry.

In my opinion this is one of the most beautiful love songs that I have ever heard. Barry said that when Saturday night fever was made someone called him and said I need you to make a beautiful love song and boy did they come through.
Some other great Bee Gees songs: My Lovers Prayer and Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow
You made this old man weep with your reaction my friend.

Whoever said the BeeGees is trash clearly doesn't have an affinity for good music!

ive never heard anyone say they're trash must be a troll
You want a wedding song? TOO MUCH HEAVEN!!!!
I have been enjoying these weeks of one group. And your chooses have been music i like. I think Queen should be a band you consider for a week.
For all that's holy: YES!

I love this one, too! Barry is the lead singer. The three were brothers. Barry, the oldest, Robin, the one with the reddish hair, and Maurice (pronounced Morris) the other brother. GREAT video! SO glad you like their music, too!
Maurice and Robin were twins
Love the Bee Gees. I grew up in the 70's. Also look into Al green, Harold Melvin and the blue notes, Teddy P, Sho-nuff, and LTD.
Prolific songwriters, many written by them for others such as Heartbreaker sung by Dionne Warwick. Excellent tune!
Chain Reaction - Diana Ross
Yes! We did skate to this!! I remember many nights at the rink skating to their songs. Songs from when me spoke to a woman & not at her! I'm just sitting how much you're digging it!! You put a smile on my face today as I watched your week of Bee Gees videos that I really needed 😊😁💕
Please react to FOR WHOM the BELL TOLLS LIVE by the beegees thanks
I was cruising down PCH near Malibu in my new convertible. Had a cute short hair cut that blew perfectly in the wind. It was a beautiful day. I was feeling all of it. Now my car turned out to be a lemon but it was cute. I can feel all of the emotions when I hear this song.
I love Saturday Fever by the Bee-Gees
Samantha Sang's "Emotion." You'll love the song because Barry Gibb (the one in the middle) wrote it and his background vocals are all over it!
It really sounds like a Bee Gees song with her as a guest performer
Do "Jive Talkin" by the BeeGees
Spent my teen yrs listening to the Bee Gees album and the one side of the Bread album !
Such an amazingly talented group. You can feel every word they sing.
ty for luving our gorgeous BGSXXXXXXX n you are So funny...luv it...
I have a very soft spot for "Tragedy" and "For whom the bell tolls". Oh, and the "New York Mining Desaster 1941" - that one is great!
Their most funky song is Love you Inside Out... This track is fire
Jive Talkin is a pretty funky dope track too.
I was about five years old when this album came out and I have been absolutely infatuated with the Bee Gees ever since. Even when I go to Las Vegas I go see the tribute band
I am liking your wedding playlist fr ❤
Saturday Night Fever and Staying Alive 😎 great movies 1&2
"Words" "Tragedy" and Barry Gibbs has the better hair of the two, but Steve Perry of Journey had the best - soft, silky and wore it down to his waist in a pony tail at the end of their time together around 1996.
Girl that's no lie. Steve Perry is fine.
