Heehee~ I once watched a Korean cat owner's video and he said that you can't really show the cat you're interested in them, gotta play it cool and eventually they'll get curious and come to you. I don't know how true it is tho XD. Anyway, I know of the cat cafe that you mentioned in Taiwan. There are quite a few of them, I believe. I wanted to go in once but one of the cats looks fierce, I'm scared of getting bitten/scratched and decided not to. 😂

Are you guys not allowed to pick up the cats? Is that one of the rules? Didn't see you guys even stroke or pet the cats. For me, it would have been irresistible to pet or carry them.
Most cat cafes in Singapore (if they are ethical) do not allow customers to carry the cats for the sake of their well-being. Just imagine how stressful it will be for the cats if every visitors want to carry them.
