Using magnets works great, I laminated my board from sheet steel and mdf I got from home depot, and covered it with poster board. When the poster board gets well used I replace it.
I've used this technique for some complex pieces I do on shirts where I use a stencil for mapping or layout b4 freehanding, I laminated thin metal sheets to some of my shirtboards, after sanding and polishing the edges, works well with this also, great video 👍💀
Dusty, yes you are correct as long as you have the metal panel behind the Ali panel. The magnets I use are strong enough to do just that. Great point. Thanks. Thanks for watching.
I can appreciate that. Guess it depends on what your using them for. I like to feel comfortable that my stencil is not going to move. Are you back from Dru's? Thanks for sharing, Killer work. Nice!

Excellent. Will be ordering these. Thanks.
Great idea 🤙🏽
If your magnets are strong enough you should still be able to use your ali panels and it should still hold your stencil or paper to the am I panel..

W Magners that strong. I think youre really risking damaging the surface. That's overkill. Also too large.

Will be at drus for like next 3 weeks. Just finished first class. Thanks Dan
